Soccer

I support Liverpool FC mostly. They're doing well this season and imo could win the league even though they haven't even qualified for the Champions League/finished in the top 4 for the last 4 seasons. Doesn't seem that crazy though when you look at the fact that the season before they finished 7th 4 seasons ago they finished 2nd. Daniel Sturridge has 18 goals in 23 games for Liverpool including 8 in the league this season (top scorer so far, scored in every game except one) and Luis Suarez has 6 goals in the 4 Premier League games he's played since returning from suspension. Suarez's suspension was good because Sturridge was able to get more goals and become better and now Coutinho has been injured so Liverpool have again had to improve to win without a key player, so when he comes back (probably next week) they'll be better than before his injury. I'm going to enjoy seeing Manchester United and Chelsea struggle this season, and hopefully Manchester City too....well they definitely won't be touching Liverpool anyway.
Some people say Sturridge has good form....no he's just good full stop. Even if you see how he was at Chelsea he scored some good goals when he had a chance, and maybe he did the same at Manchester City idk. Now he's been given a proper chance and is respected as a forward he's one of the best in the world and by the end of the season that should be clear. And he's a fan of MMA oh yes! I was surprised when I was watching a live stream of BT Sport's coverage of UFC Fight Night 30 in Manchester and they interviewed him in the crowd and he was really into it as in respected it and was into the technical side of it and the grappling and everything. Anyway Suarez and Sturridge are just going to get better as they play together. It's been said by Strurridge and by Alan Shearer and maybe by Suarez that their partnership is natural. Van Persie move over.

You're from the UK, yet you wrote soccer instead of football. Nice to see how international you are.

Not that much into football, but I know basics. And I'm more likely to watch World Cup if I even watch at all.

So I don't know too much about Champions League.

Of course at least one of them would like MMA.

Why Liverpool? I heard Chelsea and Manchester are way better. lawl

Yeh I didn't want anyone to come in talking about helmetball like has happened on another forum (that rubbish one about dbz....no not that one the other one).

I used to live about 7 miles from the LFC stadium sooooooo yeh. Although technically were 2 pro teams nearer to me but didn't know about them when I was 5....and those teams suck one of them isn't pro any more....if I'd known about Everton I probably would support them instead since they're blue.

Yeh one likes MMA but it's Daniel Sturridge specifically who plays for Liverpool and I search on google basically every day.

Chelsea suck. I kinda like Mourinho though even if I call him Moronho....no offense if anyone's name is actually Moronho. I had a friend kinda who supported Chelsea well my aunt in London's friend's son and that was like 15 years ago when I met him a few times....
Manchester United suck too but I like David Moyes I guess since he was good as the manager of Everton, and I like Rio Ferdinand.

World Cup should be good. Either Christiano Ronaldo or Zlatan Ibrahimovic won't be there though.

This video is quite hilarious especially at like 1:40 the bit about the pudding....

Was laughing at it for a few minutes when I saw it like a week ago. Funny as Gintama or episode 1 of Golden Boy (C Base).

edit: not especially at 1:40 just only at 1:40. Also the English commentators are boring....maybe the English language just sucks. I remember English commentators used to suck they'd always be so biased but now they're not so bad but they still suck. They should have fans in the studio that would be more interesting or have Jamie Carragher....

Sky Sports sucks but they have Jamie Carragher in their studio which is good. They have Gary Neville too they make a good team but who cares about him.

edit: this topic is a mess anyone feel free to turn it back into a coherent discussion

At 1:42 the guy says "the proof is in the pudding, and the pudding in this case....is a football"
Dunno if you know the saying "the proof is in the pudding" or not. Just sounds funny when he says it because it makes no sense why the hell would you say it lol finding it funny just thinking about it now.

Good goal though.
