I had one of my co workers at work the other day tell me my 5 o'clock shadow made me look good. I appreciated the compliment but, I HATE my facial hair. So what do you guys think. Is male facial hair appealing to you or not? |

You look much older with a shadow. Not in generality, but you in particular Justin. But you are further barred from talking about it because I cannot seem to grow any facial hair unless I concentrate for a year. D: |

Me personally, I really dislike it when a guy has facial hair. The 5 o'clock shadow works on very few guys for me. You need to have really rugged facial features and a really masculine look to make it work. Otherwise, please, just shave. Kissing someone with stubble gives your something akin to rug-burn after a while, and kissing someone with a beard is like making out with a carpet. |

Oh trust me I keep all the hair around my lips under control. I shave it every morning. Though it's only for me I guess because I haven't kissed anyone V_V |

Eh. I look okay with some stubble, but that's only after a day or two without shaving; during that day or two, though, I look really, really bad, so I tend to shave every day, if not twice a day depending on when I shave. Though I just realized that most of the time when I don't shave it's only because I'm too tired to take a shower, and I always shave right before I shower, so I might only look bad during those few days because I haven't showered during them, either... |

I always take a shower if I know Im going out of the house. I'm almost OCD about it. |

Oh yeah, me too. I can't leave the house unless I've showered. Sometimes I'll shower twice if I have class in the morning and am going out at night. I can't deal with feeling dirty at all. |

I usually take a shower another shower if I have been at school and know I am going back out. If I don't take a shower, I at least change my shirt and socks. Being dirty is pretty damn bad, indeed. |

I don't have time to shower in the morning, so I always shower before bed, but sometimes I just don't have the energy to. It doesn't really matter that much since I don't really have that much body odor nor do I have any sort of physical activity that could generate more, and I never look like I haven't showered, or at least I've never gone so long without one that you can tell... At times, though, I feel so incredibly oily that I absolutely have to take a shower and I will interrupt anything that I am doing in order to take one. I remember once I just jumped up from dinner and ran to the bathroom because it was so bad. |

No time to shower in the morning? I'd rather get late to school and shower than not shower and be on time :\ |

My first class of the day is at 11:30. I leave my house at 9:30, to make sure that I can get there on time. I get up at 8:00 though, so I can shower and do my hair and everything like that. I CANNOT go to school without showering. Never ever ever ever. |

I have to get up at 6:30 to catch my 6:50 bus. And honestly, even if I did have time in the morning, I probably wouldn't shower; I don't like showering in the morning. It keeps me asleep and wastes a lot of water. As long as I shower before bed I feel completely fresh and clean when I wake up. |

I shower at night during the week since 5:40 is already the latest I can get up, and I really don't need to have something making me get up earlier. The only time I ever skip showering is when, say, I get home really late on a Friday and will be able to shower the minute I get up on Saturday. Even then, I feel dirty when I wake up in the morning. |

I wake up at 6:50, take a shower/ other hygene duties/ shave/ make some coffee before 7:35, when I have to get to my bus. Since I put product in my hair, I have to shower in the morning, and I can't really go back to sleep or anything like that or my hair will screw up.

I believe I've seen you in both states, Justin. The "something not listed above" is due to the way you asked the question, and the nature of it. Alter the last sentence to...
...and you change the answer to "Yes." |

It takes me 5 weeks to grow what most people have by 5 o'clock. |

As for 5 o'clock shadow, I hate shaving, so I generally go a couple of days between shaving and neglect it altogether on the weekends, which gives me a permanent 5 o'clock shadow look. It probably doesn't look particularly good, but I'm the height of plainness anyway. Over the summer, I only shave my neck. I'd do that during school, but facial hair's against our dress code. |

^ What Pervan said. Except that when I shave, I shave my entire face. I guess I figure if I'm going to bother myself to do this, I might as well do the whole thing. You people who take forever to grow facial hair, consider yourselves blessed. To me, shaving is an annoying pain in the arse. |
