So? Average for me, I think. School is tougher than ever, my parents have had an extremely rough year (though it turned up at the end), my mom miscarried... Apart from those bad things the year has been pretty good, but the bad things were enough to keep it from standing out in my mind as an above average year.

I liked it. The worst part of the year was my marks, which were overall, on the good side anyway, just not as well as I usually do (still trumped most of the class though).

I was miserable for at least 2/3rds of last year. The Prednisone treatments for my Crohn's were terrible; the Prednisone made me constantly agitated and it worsened my migraines in that it caused them to occur with greater frequency. My parents did not fair any better. Fortunately the last part of the year was much better, and almost made up for everything else entirely. My Crohn's is mostly in remission now, but the pain and burning in all of my joints remains. After talks with my doctor, it is likely that I will move up to long lasting pain medicine, which is unfortunately schedule 2.

Pretty bad for me. My sister tried to kill herself a few times, I've grown away from many of friends, and my mom and I are now constantly arguing over everything. I also failed my license test due to never being able to drive. It was a pretty bad year overall, but I try not to dwell on it.

This year was a decent year, largely in part because I got and managed to hold my current programming job in it. It had its ups and downs, most of the downs being increased argumentativeness with my family and having to work on a massive ass project by myself.

But I think the year still managed to be good.

This year was pretty good, but in comparison to '05 it was a lot better (besides the fact that my daughter was born in '05). 05' was filled with fights with my daughter's mom and then the ultimate break up which was extremely hard. For the first half of '06 I was still recovering from that, dating around, and just trying to find my place once again. But the last half of '06 was great! I got over my ex-girlfriend finally, get to see my daughter every day (she basically lives with me now), and have a new girlfriend who couldn't be better. I also got to see my friends a lot more and make plenty of new ones. Socially, '06 was the shit! Gaming wise, '06 was great also. I got back into RPGs and put a dent in my backlog. Here's to hoping '07 will rock as well!

Not great. It was a real nothing year over all for me with a lot of troubles. I completely changed my career path, which eliminated a lot of surety over the year, and there were a lot of problems with vehicles, friends, and family. My best friend went through a complete personality change after getting a new job and is now a complete asshole to the world. My other best friend went missing.

On the up side, I'm very glad that I worked for an entire year rather than go straight from my B.A. into graduates, since it really drove home to me that that's not what I want to do. I'm happy that I stopped letting the expectations of others drive what I want to do with my life. I got my Fiero, and even with the problems I've had with it, wouldn't go back on it for anything. I'm registered with a trade school to start at the end of Jan.

I hope 2007 is better.

Somewhere between good and great, I suppose (I rounded down and went with good ;) ). Nothing outright terrible happened this year. It's been one of my happier years, especially since I was really depressed near the end of 2005. I've made a bunch of new friends (since 2006 started halfway through my freshman year) and have created hopefully lasting bonds with them. I went through some stuff involving one of my good friends, but I think it turned out all right. However, I also decided that I don't like a lot of people who used to be my friends from my grade school (most of whom I knew for a good nine years), but that isn't too big of a deal since I barely see them anyway. Most of the people I'd still consider friends from my grade school went to my high school, and I've become better friends with them, so I suppose that turned out well.

I still haven't gotten my driver's license despite turning sixteen a couple weeks before the end of the year, but it doesn't bother me too much. I did, however, get a rather banged-up (but working!) car from my uncle. School has been much easier than I had expected, and I couldn't really ask for better grades. The second half of the year saw a drop in sleep and free time due to a harder schedule, but I'm still doing well. No family problems, really, other than my grandpa having a stroke, but he's doing surprisingly well, especially since he was only supposed to live a few weeks but has held on for a good six months so far. Overall, a pretty good year.

Meh, not great. I didn't do so well in classes because I'm too lazy to study, and I think I lost interest in videogames by a factor of 10 this year (I can play them, but after 30 mins to an hour I get bored).

However, I made some new friends and I got a Wii, so that evens things out a bit.

I voted "Good."

I was miserable for the first 1/3 or so of the year working at a 70 hour a week job that was bad enough at 40 hours.

Then I got my ass back in college, and I've been happier ever since.

Best part: The whole year I've been going steady with my awesome girlfriend.

Worst part: This year I started to really dislike a certain member of my family whom I can't avoid as much as I'd like to.

Oh, and 2006 was the year I stumbled onto this wonderful place, so I definately ended the year on a high note. :P

"Bad. Some spots of light here and there, but overall a negative year."

I'm still dead inside, but there were as always SOME highlights... I just can't recall them at the moment.

It was a good year. I had the highest overall average in my grade, beating out all the ant-social nerds and overachievers.

The summer was awesome with plenty of good parties and I hooked up with my fair share of females.

The only downside would be the seemingly minor recurring health problem I've been having which I won't know if it's serious or not until I see the specialist in March.

But this year sure sucked for RPGs. =)

I had an average year. In fact I don't really recall what happend for the most part. I was in school for the early half and then I've spent the last 6 months since summer working. So ya nothing really happend I guess. : /

The positives would most certainly be all the money I put away from my job, and the games that came out last year. The negatives would be that I'm still single, though I'm not really bothered by it anymore, and that I had my feelings toyed with by some self centered bitch at work.

Other than that it was flat out average. I'm hoping that things will be more interesting once I get back into school and get moved into my "dorm"

One thing I've never been clear on is what exactly "hooked up" means. It's used so vaguely and seems like it could mean a million different things based on the context...

Hmm, possible meanings could be: "Got Cozy" "Made out" "Oral" "Groping" ETC

Or perhaps it just flat out means that he met all kinds of girls?

It was like your average EBA performance graph. Good at the beginning with a sharp downturn around the middle.

edit
Oh, and overall D rank.

Not great, especially towards the end...and now we add another wrinkle to the whole scooter stupidity:

They are actually counting the medical leave my department manager made me take as a "no call, no show." :<

I definately showed up on time -- I was personally ORDERED to leave before my shift was scheduled to begin. :<

You can bet your sweet life I'm going to appeal this stupidity as many times as I need to, even if I eventually have to get the absolute head of Big Y to personally make a ruling... because this is essentially setting the extremely bad precident of allowing managers to write people up for following the orders of THEIR superiors anytime a manager feels like being a jackass.

And no, I did not actually call this manager a jackass -- I know the definitions of the word "tact" and the phrase "professional suicide." <_<

This ALMOST makes the scooter not worth it, but the following facts are submitted as FTW in favor of keeping it:
"< $3 to fill the tank,"
"spending less than $10 on maintenece since like June of last year," and
"It gets me from Point A to Point B when I have no other option aside from walking."

Well, the last half of senior year was a blast, I completely came out of my shell and made alot of friends, becoming quite popular I might add. :D

Over the summer I met my girlfriend whom I'm still with now, she's a sweetheart. And my college experience so far has been pretty nice. I just recently got my grades back and I did pretty good!

I saw Bill Nye the Science Guy and got his autograph. Zing!

Not to mention I got a 360 and such for Christmas, and my New Years celebration was a 3 day LAN party.

There were some obvious downs, but overall last year was awesome. The worst happening was my dog of 12 years having to be put down. I held him in higher regard than most of the people I knew so you can see that it wasn't too easy accepting it.
