This is pretty awesome (unless it's on the Wii, which I don't have anymore), though my thirst for SaGa games has been somewhat satiated due to The Last Remnant.

It's going to PC too... which should be the superior version unless they left all the bugs in.

And TLR's also coming to PS3 too, I believe.

Yeah, TLR isn't 360 exclusive. It was initially announced as multiplatform, and then as a timed exclusive for the 360. SE always intended to put it on the PS3 and the PC, as well. (And we'll get the version without all the bugs, with luck.)

I thought you said a while back that you were getting a 360.

I can't afford one; still don't have a job with my degree and it'll be a while before I do because of the economy.

I know TLR is coming to the PS3, but not for a good while (IE a year) and I'm impatient.

Even if it does, I'm still getting that version as well. You KNOW that someone will eventually take off the 18 person limit and fix the bugs themselves.

Hmm I'm not sure what to think of this not having played SaGa 2. Though I did originally own and beat SaGa 1 and I emulated and beat SaGa 3

FUCK YES! FUCK YES! FUCK YES! FUCK YES! FUCK YES! FUCK YES! FUCK YES! FUCK YES! FUCK YES!

The only things Kawazu could give me that I would prefer over this are a marriage proposal and a remake/port of Romancing SaGa 2. Well, a whole new SaGa would have kicked ass, but if this gets the Minstrel's Song treatment... Well I hope the mother of my children likes the names Akitoshi and Kawazu.

I bring you a scan!

On that note, I think my time here will be far more limited, due to an agreement I have had with my father (I'm moving my computer down to his study as his just broke, so we'll have to share it... and he uses it a lot for work). Just a head's up.

OMG! Awesome. SaGa 2 was always made of win and tiramisu, so this is amazing news!

I've got to admit, I did touch the series until SaGa Frontier 2 - the GB games were impossible to get here and SF2 was the next one with an EU release (we didn't get Minstrel Song either).

SaGa 2 was my first experience with SaGa too, after reading a walkthrough in Nintendo Power of the bulk of the game and thinking that it sounded f'ing amazing, I knew I had to get a taste of that.

Never looked back.

My first exposure to SaGa was the first gameboy title. The main thing I remember is the amazing legendary equipment that you get before going to Paradise. In fact the equipment is a large part of the solution to that quest. Let's just say I was heavily dependent on the armor and sword, and that I was completely unprepared for the rest of the game.

It's better than Final Fantasy Legend 3, but it is not one of the titles in the series that I play regularly. It was definitely a sign of awesome things to come, even if the stat system is incredibly primitive compared to later entries in the series.

Argh Kawazu.

You had to go and force me to buy a DS. Well. 'Stateside release pending.

I had been holding out so, so long.

Stupid unemployment.
