I only ask because I recently learned of their existence in my search for PSX games to put on my PSP. Anyone played them? |

If I remember correctly the PSX port of X-Com is nearly identical to the PC version. The only irritation you will run into is a lack of keyboard shortcuts, but X-Com has a decent enough layout for the command icons. I have never played the PSX port of Magic Carpet. Dear god, it does not seem like a game that would carry over well to a portable system. A game built around full freedom of movement on a 3D map from a first person perspective, vertical and horizontal aiming, terrain alterations, and juggling through countless spells. All on a handheld's screen. It kind of gives me a headache just thinking about it. Although I'm curious to see how it ends up working. |
