Gothic 3 CP 1.7 Patch Well Gothic 3 has finally been fan-patched to hell and back (still no VtM:B or ToEE in terms of fan fixes but super impressive). It's reached its 'final' fan patch by the current super star team. http://forum.worldofplayers.de/forum/showt...28&#post8871228 They pretty much fixed everything wrong with the game that was feasible in a reasonable amount of time. Instead of reading the ridiculously massive changelog, check out the manual for the patch: http://snorre.jowood.de/~community/Gothic3...1_70_Manual.pdf The Nameless mod for Deus Ex has finally been released: http://www.thenamelessmod.com A rare case of an ambitious fan-mod actually reaching completion, probably worth playing as it's likely to be the best Deus Ex spiritual sequel we'll ever get. And we now have a build of STALKER from 2004 http://gsc-game.com/index.php?t=community&..._id=16&offset=0 Pretty cool of them to release that, will be buggy as hell but might be fun to play around with just to see all the cool things they wanted to implement but never did. I'm downloading the G3 patch right now, taking forever because all the servers are getting hammered. You'd think the torrent they've setup would be speedy but everybody is just leeching then hit-n'-running so I didn't get very good speeds there. |

Throwing it out there as well, but the 3rd GTA4 patch (released today) finally makes the PC version worth considering, as it's at least equal if not superior to the console versions now. |

I never really liked GTA games but I bought 4 for PS3 because it was super cheap (29.99 CAD brand new) and thought it wouldn't be a bad game to own (since I can just pop it in and kill things whenever I feel like) but I just can't seem to get into it. Niko is the man but I just find all the missions to be pretty boring and more or less the same. I'm sure I'll play more of it sometime but if I get a good chance I'll probably just sell it. |
