This is a very heated topic between all of gamers.
The new vs the old.
We all had that one times were we were surfing on YouTube, and then found a small comment war on weither that old game is better or the new one.
Or on how back then games were ''so much better and much more quality'' than today.
Or were on a forum and saw a thread pop up about it and soon it was filled with posts.

So, what do you think, does retro reign supreme, or does the new outdo the old?
Personally, I am neutral.
Both times had TERRIBLE games.
And both of them had AMAZING games aswell.
So really, there is no clear cut winner.
I think the reason people may always put retro as the clean cut winner is Nostalgia.

You're thoughts?

I'll stay border line too, theres back up for both sides of the arguement
Retro had the magic of the first games and lets imagination take over with its low quality graphics and music
New has the pretty amazing graphics and improved music

I think the thing that makes most people love those old games is nostalgia.
That feeling of lets say...you're first Mortal Kombat when you ripped off somebody's spine for the first time or burned a guy too the bone.
You get my point xD

IMO, I like new games a bit more. Multiplayer, better animation, graphics (which don't actually matter). I'm probably saying this because the first cobsole EVER that came to sale in Estonia was the PS1

Well, there were clones of Megadrives and PS1s, but they don't really count, do they?

Even those count. You can't omit something for being different from everything else.
