That is so very sad. I just went and read about it. With the baby showing an issue a couple of days about with it's crop...this is totally a possible cause. Even though it appeared the baby was back eating and pooping, that's the way birds often act. They appear to have nothing wrong, and within hours can be gone. I'll be praying that the other little one makes it. It will all depend on if Mom and Dad will bring it food now. Sure pray that someone steps in if they abandon the nest. That poor little linex looks so alone! Come on Mom.....take care of your lone baby!! Nature can be so cruel! I love watching these cams, but I'm awful when something goes wrong. (Let's hope it wasn't a poisoned hamster!) Thanks again for letting me know, Sunshine. Have a good weekend.

NEWSFLASH!!! TODAY IS NATIONAL DOUGHNUT DAY!

Everyone should go out and celebrate by eating a doughnut. It may not make you feel better about the loss of the Eaglet but it wont make you feel worse either.
