I was on my way to Georgia last night to pick up my dear step son for visitation with us. It's raining and am making my was up a hill when all of the sudden all I see are headlights coming straight at me!! I swerved to avoid the car in my path and I end up in the ditch!!!!!!! The truck keeps going! The guy never stopped, didn't even look back! A girl comes running over to the car to help me. She said she was turning into her driveway and the truck went around her instead of waiting for her to turn and in doing so came straight at me. I am fine, not hurt at all, the car either for that matter but the girl said we missed each other by a hair, guess my guardian angel stepped in between the two vehicles because if I had not swerved he would have hit me head on and I probably would not be sitting here typing this right now. There are a lot of good people in this world. Many,many people stopped to help me or to see if I was okay, the patrol sheriff was excellent and called a tow truck to pull me out, a friend of his ( which he's not suppose to do) and he didn't charge me!!!! but I just wonder how someone can cause an accident and then just drive off and not bother checking on the other person. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night not knowing if I caused another person harm. |

I'm glad to hear there were no injuries. Sometimes people just amaze me. I guess for every bad apple there seems to be 2 good apples. |

Thank goodness you are ok. Some people just shouldn't be able to drive a car. |
