Welcome to the Global Right Alliance's forums!

Firstly, you can only see a very limited amount of the forums at the moment. You will be able to see the full forums and properly participate in our region and its community when you register.

Join our Community

Now, on to the region itself. Don't let the name, specifically the "Right", fool you. We've got members from across the political spectrum, and our political parties have always reflected this. The Global Right Alliance (GRA), as primarily a gameplay region, has been everything from an anarchy to a monarchy to a homegrown rotatorship. The region has had such governments because of its culture, which adores political intrigue and thrives on confrontation. With the increase of the region's population, many veterans have returned. It is the beginning of a new Global Right Alliance and a new government system.

I know the forums can be quite intimidating; there's people who have been here for nearly a decade and have over 10,000 posts. However, we welcome new members and encourage them to get involved. If you want help finding your way around, we have resources to help you to get on your way.

OOC:Yes they would fight to the death.EVERY allie soldier I think would had fought to the death for their country also no?

IC:We aren't hostile to you.Your just hostile to us.

OOC: what are you talking about? Do you realize how bad that would of been? These japanese forces were becoming more and more suicidial. Some estimates say we would of lost 500,000 in an invasion of Japan.

IC: you have been more hostile to us. We are just doing this for defense purposes.

IC: First off how could of you destroyed me? My nation has 600 million people, a huge military and one massive economy ($21 trillion+).

OOC: Ok.. lets get back to the topic:

IC:

Does any one has anything to say about the imminent nuclear test, and does anyone want to send in people to watch this test take place?

Test confirmed

Today at 20:36, the interior ministry has announced that a large nuclear bomb was dropped over the test site. This test was SUCCESSFUL. The blast was large, and the noise could be heard for many miles. Since this was near the border area (which is primarily desert), it could be heard in other countries.

Again, the test was successful, and dropped successfully at the correct location. This confirms that the Mesatecalan government now has a large 40 kiloton bomb in its ordinance.

The Mesatecalan Government recently tested a 40 kiloton atomic weapon, which is huge. The government has also made its intentions known. It is restarting tests, after two years of absence. This means the government will start testing more and more, but in moderate amounts. We don't want to cause too much disruption. These tests are design to maintain the stability of the nuclear arsenal to make sure everying is in working order.

OOC: In real life, 75% of the Russian nuclear arsenal today simply doesn't work. In the US, over 50% doesn't work.

We assure you it is done in an area that is barren with very little wind. We always make sure these measurements are correct. Also it is done in a very deep valley.

The government has prohibited people from living in this area.

Greenpeace accepts Maseticalans experiment, but hopes these weapons may never be used.

Remember our own military doctrine prohibits the usage of them offensively. They can only be used in a defensive manner.

OOC: Well i'm off to bed.. it is late.

National Security is far more important then whatever environment we are harming in this desolate location. There was little life to begin with.

Fighter4u, we never bombed a nation with our atomic weapons. We hopefully won't have to. Remember they cannot be used as offensive.

OOC: Fighter4u, if you can't stop with the attacks don't post in my thread.

I am concerned as well...

You said these tests could be heard in other countries....that worries me that the fallout could also affect other countries....maybe another test site, away from borders would be wiser and more prudent....

Noise is not related to fall-out. It is simply that these bombs were bigger. And we only have several test sites all located in that region, which is very desolate. We assure you, that because these took place in a valley, their fall-out is limited to that location. We certainly do offer access to observers from non-hostile countries (including the GRAU as a whole).
