You will be able to see the full forums and properly participate in our region and its community when you register. Join our Community Now, on to the region itself. Don't let the name, specifically the "Right", fool you. We've got members from across the political spectrum, and our political parties have always reflected this. The Global Right Alliance (GRA), as primarily a gameplay region, has been everything from an anarchy to a monarchy to a homegrown rotatorship. The region has had such governments because of its culture, which adores political intrigue and thrives on confrontation. With the increase of the region's population, many veterans have returned. It is the beginning of a new Global Right Alliance and a new government system. I know the forums can be quite intimidating; there's people who have been here for nearly a decade and have over 10,000 posts. However, we welcome new members and encourage them to get involved. Mesatecala to adopt directive, creating new "CIA" securities organization The Mesatecalan government will adopt a prime directive in order to deflect accusations from Fighter4u. This directive will include the formation of a new intelligence agency.. the Center for Internal and Foreign Security (CIFS). This new organization will be a subordinate of the Interior Ministry. This sub-organization will be more advanced, and will be given the best technology there is. It is specifically for intelligence, technological security and industrial security roles. The government has announced this and is stating it will cost $4.4 billion in total. |

CIFS established The 25,000 member Center for Internal and Foreign Security has been established, though many members are under training. This agency is an agency responsible for industrial security, ESPIONAGE, and other activites. Preamble: To disrupt, destroy and cause chaos in the enemy during times of war. To monitor situations throughout the world. To ensure national security of the nation of Mesatecala. CIFS Agents are the best trained and the information technology sector has provided the best equipiment. Militarization of the border to be underway The borders are currently defended by Judicial Command (Branches of Police) and interior ministry (secret police). There is talk in giving the secret police access to long range MLRS (multiple launch rocket systems) and posting these at various border checkpoints. This is to further Mesatecala's questioning of neighboring powers and their legitimacy. |

NUCLEAR ARSENAL ORDERED ON CODE YELLOW The nuclear arsenal for the first time since the shortlived war, has been ordered on code yellow by the Mesatecalan High command. This could be upgraded even further. There was no reason given for this sudden change. |

Government soldiers kill 15 at border check-point Eight Mesatecalan policemen and soldiers were injured, when a car rammed through a border checkpoint and the occupants opened fire. Several police officers sustained minor to moderate wounds. Soldiers engaged the suspects and used KL-1 Machine Gun fire to supress the cars. Nearly 2,000 rounds were fired into the car killing 15 suspects. It turns out that some of the suspects were wearing body armor. The government has ordered soldiers to carry RPG launchers at checkpoints in case to quickly resolve situations as this one. It turns out that the RPG launchers these troops were expecting were late because the supply truck carrying them overturned in the terrain. This checkpoint is perhaps one of the more isolated ones. To lessen its isolation, the government has sent out public works to build a two-lane road to the border. Forces testing out MLRS against rocky hills A new MLRS (MULTIPLE LAUNCH ROCKET SYSTEM) has been tested today and has proved highly successful and extremely accurate. Government forces were testing them against defunct vehicles set out in the hills, and the new MLRS system has proved very accurate. ![]() It is well known to many nations surrounding Mesatecala, that hundreds if not thousands of these are scattered across border check-points and/or near the border. |

Leaked report shows that Mesatecalan authorities use torture often The Mesatecalan government has been known to use torture, in the forms of waterdrip torture, electrocution, and severe beatings against political opponents that dare speak against the regime. Government forces have been known to routinely arrest and beat opponents to the regime. The government has repeatably said extra measures are used because the only legitimate government in Mesatecala is one by the military. |

OOC: Stop posting so much OOC in my thread. IC: Mesatecalan government doesn't recognize Byzantii The Mesatecalan government has turned its back on recognization of the nation of Byzantii, after the high command recommended it. The President, who survived an internationally backed coup attempt (that now ended up in 2,000 dead), has made this statement: "We feel that recognization of this nation would not be helpful to our national security interests. All 2,000 coup participants have been killed The Mesatecalan government has confirmed that all 2,000 coup participants have been killed. A state of civil emergency has been declared, and the police has been ordered to search for other supporters of this coup. |

The Mesatecalan government has refused any suggestions. OOC: But that doesn't mean a leak won't happen. IC: Today at Reuters international news, an unknown source passed on a document accusing Carnalian and Byzantii of interfering with the Mesatecalan government stating that both countries were involved in a botched coup attempt. The Mesatecalan authorities have refused to comment on it, and said that the situation has been taken care of. All people against the regime who took up arms have been brutally executed. |

Borders sealed Mesatecalan Authorities sealed off borders, leaving them open for economic traffic, but maintaining a security net after the recent attempt on the presidents life. "Dear great people, our country remains strong and our economy registers some of the strongest growth figures yet. The government and the national army will march over another country that threatens us. Any country that does will be eliminated off the map. They have no right to threaten our soverign government. If our nation is attacked, we will use weapons of mutually assured destruction, erhm, victory." ICBM count increases Mesatecalan authorities have confirmed that the previous stockpile of around 1,100 ICBMs (inter-continental ballistic missiles) has grown to 1,900. |

We deny such envolvement but will take no action. It seems that Mesatacala is threatened by the arrival of the Byzantii which holds an extremely large population with a booming economy and with good relations with the Byzantii and our nation you feel extremly threatened and have gone under the wing of the GRAU for protection. |

The Mesatecalan government denies these accusations. Our economy still outdoes yours (and Byzantii for that matter), and we feel that we should form an alliance with the GRAU, so that we can improve economic relations. We don't need any military alliance really, as our ICBMs will do the trick. If we push the red button, nations will cease to exist. Do not threaten our country with your weak words and weak military threats again. But to be a bit more cordial, we feel that if we join the GRAU the chances of us ever pushing that red button will perhaps be next to zero. |
