| Welcome to the Global Right Alliance's forums! Firstly, you can only see a very limited amount of the forums at the moment. You will be able to see the full forums and properly participate in our region and its community when you register. Join our Community Now, on to the region itself. Don't let the name, specifically the "Right", fool you. We've got members from across the political spectrum, and our political parties have always reflected this. The Global Right Alliance (GRA), as primarily a gameplay region, has been everything from an anarchy to a monarchy to a homegrown rotatorship. The region has had such governments because of its culture, which adores political intrigue and thrives on confrontation. With the increase of the region's population, many veterans have returned. It is the beginning of a new Global Right Alliance and a new government system. I know the forums can be quite intimidating; there's people who have been here for nearly a decade and have over 10,000 posts. However, we welcome new members and encourage them to get involved. If you want help finding your way around, we have resources to help you to get on your way. Getting Started If you're already a member please log in to your account to access all of our features. |

ooh,..need permission...sounds promising! *crosses fingers for a defender verdict!* 1) Have levels of activity in your forums increased/decreased? since when? ermm when this relationship started increased dramatically! 2)What your current stance towards Q102 is, and whether there is any interest in an allegiance? Obviously this would just be a start should any such proposal be desired. current stance is friendship...with events of the ending of the free port id be interested in furthering the relationship depending on what stance is taken by Q102 govt. |

Here is an official statement from the Council of Q102: “We are slackening the Free Port Laws in order to achieve and maintain a better position in overall NS politics. This is to be done through alliances and diplomatic relations, which the Free Port Laws restricted us in. Q102, and it's reputation on the world stage, has grown to the point the Free Port Laws had become constrictive and were holding us back from what we had the potential to be. ”We are, however still officially neutral in the invader/defender sense of NS politics, and shall certainly not change our stance towards this issue without consulting the denziens of Q102, and going about it in a fair and democratic manner.” “We are not getting rid of the Free Port Act altogether, we are just taking away the aspects of it that are not used anymore or are too binding for Q102 and its members. Q102 will still be maintaining its neutrality aspect, but it will make it easier for us to take a more active role in politics throughout NS. We will, for example, be able to enter into more alliances and such.” And thankyou for answering my questions! |

Big news from Q102! Nevareion has retired from his long and dazzling political career. His seat as Delegate has been temporarily filled by Pacifist Cowards until the next elction. Nev will not be standing again and PC has taken over as leader of the Perpetual People's Party. Whilst we wave good bye with one hand we congratulate PC with the other. Nev will still be a prominent member of the community and an admin of the forums. His RL commitments had to come first. We wish him a happy retirement.

Is there a way to turn off all those smilies to the left of the text box when typing? Becasue I can't fit all the text box on the screen and mozilla firefox won't put a left/right scroll at the bottom, so I have to use stinky IE. Or if I could just put them all closer together that'd be OK. |

I didn't expect you to do that! Sorry I just wondered if it was possible for me to minimise it somewhere and I was being too dense to notice a button. I don't expect you to do anything like that NC.

Just to say, I'm going to be avoiding the Political Debates forums for a while. I can't actually bring myself to read SL's posts. It's bad for my blood pressure.
So if anyone thinks "where is JB?" that's why.I don't want to quit the GRA or anything because I've gotten to like you all now. I've adapted to your ways and quirky characters ( ). I just can't stand SL. Hence I'm avoiding the forums that I have to spek to him in. I'll still be posting elsewhere and all.

lol, well JB if you are offended, I do apologize. However, that is the point of the political debate forum, where people with different views can discuss their ideas. |

It's not so much that I'm offended, but I know neither of us will ever accept the view of the other. One could say it's down to my own faults as much as yours. I'm aware you're probably feeling quite smug about my above post. I was rather angry at the time of writing, and if I were to rewrite it now I may use less harsh language, but my point would be the same. And if I were to get even angrier sometime than I could do something I regret, like saying something that could be called flaming or quitting my embassy or smashing my head through my monitor, so I figured it was best to quit whilst I was ahead. Also, you did cross the line at some points. I always refrain from personal attacks. I know in the US, when someone attacks your government or your policies or what have you it's taken personally. And that in the Church, if someone attacks your religion it is taken personally. Well I don't consider those things personal. They are huge organisations, not a person. You, however, said I obviously had a tough upbringing, which is a criticism of my parents and that is personal, and I will not stand for it. I may be younger than you, but frankly, I am mature enough to know that my blood pressure is more important than a pointless debate with you over principles we will never agree on. Neither am I competitive enough to want to win for the sake of it. Therefore I consider my nobility and integrity intact. I've even refrained from swearing. |

Well, again, I do apologize if you took my arguments in the debate personally, that was never the intent. To me, Yes, My country and my religon are very personal things. I dont want to argue or continue this. Just wanted to apologize if you felt offended as it was never intended. |
