Rather than pick the obvious "I'm a whining blah blah blah" I went for "Beating them at an intellectual argument" as this is impossible. Whilst some of the greatest philosophers and writers may have been theists, they are all dead now, and only the ignorant theists are left. |

An intellectual argument. On what? And I was over-generalising. Perhaps I should say almost every intellectual argument. Or any argument that a theist actually includes aspects of faith. Otherwise the theist is indistinguishable from the atheist. |

 You are very, very mistaken Golgoroth, and you make a claim that is unfounded. You presume that I believe I can beat anyone in an argument. This is not true. i merely stated I could beat any religious person in an argument. However, I am aware that religious people canuse their blindness to their advantage. Whilst I may continue to search for reason, the zealot will suffice with "God did it," and has thus won the argument in his view. This requires proof of God, which is impossible. Even Descartes failed there. What hope have you? Subsequently, I can not disprove God. I can merely conclude that there is no empirical or rational evidence for God. This, in my view, can usffice to say something does not exist, as I have no blind faith. Thus, we could argue in circles all day. |

its not an issue that he calls me names, hell loads of people do that. my problem is the moronic way in which he does it, if for example somebody formulates a witty joke at my expense, then i applaud and appreciate their effort. its when he utters these truely, mind-numbingly stupid utterences that i cannot hack. from his lack of response to my challenge, i assume that he does in fact, lack testicles. |

Wrong! I have both empirical and rational evidence for that. all the religious people I've known have a degree of blind faith, and I relaise that the ability to believe without either empirical or rational evidence (for which there is neither in believing in God) requires blind faith. |
