Welcome to the Global Right Alliance's forums!

Firstly, you can only see a very limited amount of the forums at the moment. You will be able to see the full forums and properly participate in our region and its community when you register.

Join our Community

Now, on to the region itself. Don't let the name, specifically the "Right", fool you. We've got members from across the political spectrum, and our political parties have always reflected this. The Global Right Alliance (GRA), as primarily a gameplay region, has been everything from an anarchy to a monarchy to a homegrown rotatorship. The region has had such governments because of its culture, which adores political intrigue and thrives on confrontation. With the increase of the region's population, many veterans have returned. It is the beginning of a new Global Right Alliance and a new government system.

I know the forums can be quite intimidating; there's people who have been here for nearly a decade and have over 10,000 posts. However, we welcome new members and encourage them to get involved. If you want help finding your way around, we have resources to help you to get on your way.

When the revolution comes...

If the 'left' can ever get their act together and organise a spontaneous revolution led by, and for, the proletariat, what will you do?

Cheer on the police as they smash the 'prole' upstarts under the heel of the state or run to the nearest private school, baseball bat in hand?

gotta break ranks with the tories here...

i'm pro-choice, i realise that killing a potential human being is an awful and extremely sensitive subject, but sometimes one has to take an ends/means position, and consider factors like the child's quality of life and the impact it will have on the parents, and whether they're even capable of supporting it.

really brutal subject, but ultimately, it should be left to the parents...

Hmmm......the gap between the CP and the CCP seems ever widening....

Of course, I would not propose to split the parties over this issue.

Not to argue, U-ropa, but about the quality of life.....

I didn't know there was a lower quality of life than 'none'

And leaving important decisions to parents? I mean, look at some of the people out there. Some people should NOT be parents.......

Yea anyone can become a parent. But not many are good parents. It would be insane to let some wacko parents to make decisions like those. Its should be up to the mother and nobody else no matter what her age.

But of course earlier in the process. Because honestly why would it take someone 26 weeks to notice they are pregnant and decide to abort.

I support pro-choice as Uropa does for a good reason. Should a person living in poverty become pregnant they could not hope to provide a proper life for that child yet alone herself. Why would we allow such a child to suffer in this world? And the whole "put it up for adoption" thing is a load. There is more needy children in other parts of the globe that need it, instead of some irresponsible person who refused to abort the fetus.

And Old Z i think the split has already occured between our party's

Some people should NOT be parents.......

but doesnt that merely reinforce the 'quality of life' arguement?

also, your point:

true, but at least fetus' havent developed personalities, they remain doli incapax, incapable of moral decisions or real choice. i'm not going to wander off into the 'do they feel pain' arguement as neither of us can arbitrate it, needless to say, i would rather a single mother who can barely support herself had an abortion then bring a child into a socio-economic purgatory, from which there is no mobility and no chance of escape. furthermore, that child would inherit that socio-economic position, and probably (speculation) perpetuate the cycle of single parent hood and deprivation.

For the record uropa sums up my views on the issue, mostly.

I'd be looking at some random leftist having their skull crushed saying, "Now you know what an abortion feels like."

Right on, but I don't think killing an abortionist advocate solves anything -_-

But yeah I'm not sure what I'd do, probably pray for my country and it's people, if God doesn't help, I'd go and blow up numerous Commie buildings and be all like espionage like the Jews in Poland :P

The revolution in Britain? or somewhere else? If a revolution happens in Britain, count on the U.S to stick their fat nose in it.

ohh

Interesting book that everyone should read on the subject:

Jean François Revel- Without Marx or Jesus

Really interesting frog philosopher argues that if the revolution were to happen, it could only succeed if it started in the US, as a means of enhancing the dialectic.
