Welcome to the Global Right Alliance's forums!

Firstly, you can only see a very limited amount of the forums at the moment. You will be able to see the full forums and properly participate in our region and its community when you register.

Join our Community

Now, on to the region itself. Don't let the name, specifically the "Right", fool you. We've got members from across the political spectrum, and our political parties have always reflected this. The Global Right Alliance (GRA), as primarily a gameplay region, has been everything from an anarchy to a monarchy to a homegrown rotatorship. The region has had such governments because of its culture, which adores political intrigue and thrives on confrontation. With the increase of the region's population, many veterans have returned. It is the beginning of a new Global Right Alliance and a new government system.

I know the forums can be quite intimidating; there's people who have been here for nearly a decade and have over 10,000 posts. However, we welcome new members and encourage them to get involved. If you want help finding your way around, we have resources to help you to get on your way.

Happy Easter everyone! I hope everyone's festivities go well today and just take a couple of minutes to think about what this holiday really means and thank God for the freedom that we have in Him because of the sacrifice He made. :WOOOWHOOO:

I just LOVE Easter. I hate, however, that it's becoming so commercial. I got an Easter present, but it wasn't a Christmas kind of gift. it was a pocket Bible.

Yes Darwin, as in the anti-Christ from Dipes' home town that thought up the BS that is evolution.

PI you just went down in my eyes (not that you care)

Many religious people (inc. the Vatican) accept the obvious truth in evolution.

Let me explain this to you. I'm not gonna be going out to the town centre shotuing "you are sinners", or as I once heard one say "the liberal media is getting to you", but that's got nothing to do with anything. I'm also not some random idiot off the street that believes in Darwin's theory without even knowing what it is, or simply because I heard of it for 10 minutes in a biology lesson once.

I don't believe the world could happen by chance, nothing this complex could come from anything but intelligence. Evolution is a theory, not proof.

Maybe God did create the basics needed for evolution and maybe it occured. But it didn't happen all by chance like Darwin would have you believe. Also, we have not been around long enough to see it happen. Yes, we have fossils, but they could be an entirely different species altogether. I am not convinced about evolution, I believe someone created it, and I believe that person to be God.

Fair enough but the main word you used is believe

That is not the sentiment you used here

Everyone is entitled to believe anything and everyone else is entitled to believe they are wrong.

btw in Science a theory can be also fact until a better theory comes along.

Both evolution and creationism are theories.

Thing is, evolution is based on more scientific evidence than creationism is. In the end, though, the "OH EM GEE GOD DOESN'T EXIST!"-"GOD WARRIOR!!!!! HE DOES!" debate will never, ever end. Neither side is going to sway the other, no matter how hard they try, how loud they shout, and how stubborn they are - both sides are just as loud, stubborn and motivated.

Here's a thing for yas, though:

If God is ever proved to exist, either he will no longer exist, or religion will collapse soon after.

Edit: A good quote I just read from my book:

Sophie's World

"Many had previously tried to prove the existence of God - or at any rate to bring him within the bounds of rationality.  But if you content yourself with some such proof or logical argument, you suffer a loss of faith, and with it, a loss of religious passion.  Because what matters is not whether Christianity is true, but whether it is true for you.  The same thought was expressed in the Middle Ages in the maxim: credo quia absurdum."

"You don't say."

"It means I believe because it is irrational.  If Christianity had appealed to our reason, and not to other sides of us, it would not be a question of faith.

End edit.

The above is why I'm just agnostic. Makes things so much easier, and makes more sense (disclamer: to me).
