| Welcome to the Global Right Alliance's forums! Firstly, you can only see a very limited amount of the forums at the moment. You will be able to see the full forums and properly participate in our region and its community when you register. Join our Community Now, on to the region itself. Don't let the name, specifically the "Right", fool you. We've got members from across the political spectrum, and our political parties have always reflected this. The Global Right Alliance (GRA), as primarily a gameplay region, has been everything from an anarchy to a monarchy to a homegrown rotatorship. The region has had such governments because of its culture, which adores political intrigue and thrives on confrontation. With the increase of the region's population, many veterans have returned. It is the beginning of a new Global Right Alliance and a new government system. I know the forums can be quite intimidating; there's people who have been here for nearly a decade and have over 10,000 posts. However, we welcome new members and encourage them to get involved. If you want help finding your way around, we have resources to help you to get on your way. Getting Started If you're already a member please log in to your account to access all of our features. |

I'm currently enjoying Francis Fukuyama's book on the 'end of history'. Ignoring the Hegelian bit, Fukuyama argues that the end of the cold war provided the culmination of the ideological forces unleashed by the American and French revolutions. With the end of the cold war, we saw the apparent triumph of liberal democracy and market forces, and the relegation of the other great ideologies (nationalism, fascism, communism et al) to the dustbin that is victor’s history. If one looks at present British politics, the difference between the main parties is in fact very small, the only real differences being arguments over application rather then substance, i.e., the best way to reform the National Health Service. One must then ask ourselves, is there any ideology left in contemporary western politics, or is the future, as Fukuyama argues, just going to be about pedantic debates around what packaging your capitalism comes in? |

You know, I've heard this before but not yet read Fukuyama's book...I'd say its high time I got to that. Based on what I know of his argument, I'd say that he hits the nail on the head. In the modern political world, the ever-centralizing parites have left no room for trulyideologically driven politics. Do these "outcast" paties and ideologies still exist? Oh sure...but they are as close to extinction as ever. I look at it and see three basic places where they can still be found: 1. Eastern political cultures...these, though are rapidly westernizing and have already abandon most non-traditional (in the modern sense) thought. 2. The Third World...but again, these nations are becoming so dependent upon the modernized west that they are forced (de facto) into adopting certain western ideals in order to survive (either that or they are warzones ultimately controlled in some manner by western powerhouses who manage to dictate their political environment). 3. The "Western," modern world. Ah, but they aren't to be taken seriously, are they? Aren't we all supposed to believe that anyone who doesn't adhere to the current political schema is "nuts?" If someone takes one to many steps to either the left or right or thinks "outside the modern box," they themselves become outcast, powerless, marginalized, and discredited. Sadly, this may really be the end of the road for the true political ideology. Historically, this is the first time when all nations of mentionable power and influence are content with their political and economic systems...sure, people want to make changes to the varying forms of democracy and capitalism, but people have become content (or perhaps complacent) enough to not throw these systems away entirely and start afresh. Just my thoughts. |

You have every right to think that, but really they trully believe in democracy, The National Socialist Workers Party of Germany did not believe democracy worked, they just want to deport all the mud races in Britain (And no I'm not 'Racist', I just believe that Britain belongs to Britains, just like Japan belongs to Japanese or Egypt to Egyptians etc...)

Britain was white, in 60 years white people will be a minority in Britain, that is based on actual facts, And no I don't think they will follow an 'evil' path, they just want to take Britain back, and destroy multiculturalism, if a thief takes your money and you take it back, are you also a thief? |
