I don't understand why people blindly believe in something they can't see or hear. The only record of a god is a the bible and it is just a book. You don't believe everything you read do you? I am wondering if someone could help me understand. |

What you say is true science always give the best guess but you know they usally always find the answer eventually. You just go to wait. So I guess you can say that is what I am doing. I am waiting for a answer that may never come.... in my life time but it will come just as long as science is around and being taught. |

that is what atheists call escapism and subjectivity. and yet though they cannot see it through their veil of arrogance, atheism is the very essence of escapism. atheists blindly accept "proof" that there is no God because it suits their materialistic and earthly desires. you atheists are completely blind of the fact that the Bible predicted you!

I am an atheist and you are telling me I am mateialistic. lol Everyone is if you took a look around. You got a computer don't you or do you go over to someones house and write this. Most atheists just tend not to believe in god that is all and they think of people that do are just doing what they believe in. I do the same. You can beleve in what ever you want just as long it doesn't affect me or force it upon me. |

Atheists are not all materialistic. However, the only reason anybody would WANT to believe there is no God is because they don't want to be accountable to him. |

No, i think you can...for calc is a bit like me in that respect...i do believe in him, but i also dont in cases...its very hard for me to explain, and im guessing the same is for calc as well. |

I feel that there science can expalin the existence of the Earth but there are bits were we cannot explain. It is at these bits were i start to think "hey maybe there is some guy up there" My beliefs are all All Shook Up up at the mo though because of something that happened to me a while ago. |

I remember when I lost 2 people that I really loved, I started to question God and wonder if he really existed. Now I know that it was there time and that all things happen for a reason. Btw, I lost my grandpa and great-grandma around 4 years ago and recently I lost two of my uncles (they died a week apart). |

I watched this show called House hear in america. The charcter Dr. House said " Faith is just another word for ignorance." I actually kind of think he is right isn't he? I mean you have faith only because you don't truly know if there is a god or not. You have faith insstead of fact. Also he said " There is an explaination for everything in the Universe eventually." Now I cold heartedly believe this because it seems to be true. We eventually find the answer to everything just as long we look and want to find the answer. Just some thoughts. |
