Welcome to the Global Right Alliance's forums!

Firstly, you can only see a very limited amount of the forums at the moment. You will be able to see the full forums and properly participate in our region and its community when you register.

Join our Community

Now, on to the region itself. Don't let the name, specifically the "Right", fool you. We've got members from across the political spectrum, and our political parties have always reflected this. The Global Right Alliance (GRA), as primarily a gameplay region, has been everything from an anarchy to a monarchy to a homegrown rotatorship. The region has had such governments because of its culture, which adores political intrigue and thrives on confrontation. With the increase of the region's population, many veterans have returned. It is the beginning of a new Global Right Alliance and a new government system.

I know the forums can be quite intimidating; there's people who have been here for nearly a decade and have over 10,000 posts. However, we welcome new members and encourage them to get involved. If you want help finding your way around, we have resources to help you to get on your way.

I saw it a few days after it came out, and thought it was amazing, and is one of my favourites, if not actually my favourite.

It was one of the few movies I would've been willing to (and was trying to get people to go so that I could) see again in theatres.

I even had a quote from it as my MSN name.

LoL I used two lines from it in my masn name. The one I'm using right now for the signature and I "Ideas are bulletproof." [you know the part where he gets shot a hundred times and sruvives. And the guy is like why wont you die.]...lol its my favourite movie so far...well if I really sat down and compared every movie I proclaimed to be my faveourite at one time or another without getting tired in body or mind and approaching it with the same attitude I don't know if my answer would be the same. But right now its my faveourite.

Anyways...

Good movie, well made, but I'd say a little on the Christian-bashing side... not all of us Christians hate homosexuals, in fact most of us aren't that way... we just don't support it.

Other than that it's a great movie! I enjoyed watching it and have taken my friends since

If any of you read philosophy, more than hlaf of V's lines are in fact quotes from Marx, Rousseau and so forth. It was a fantastic film. It got my Socialist blood stirred reet up!

I did think Orthodox christians may be offended by use of the Orthodox cross as a facist symbol, but who is a greater dictator than God? :P

I know nothing about how the Orthodox would feel, I'm a Pentecostal. But that wasn't the insulting point ofthe movie... it was aimed at Christians in general

Why would you say God is a dictator, just out of curiosity? He gave us the choice wheter to follow Him or not... He informed us of the consequences...

God perhaps may be seen as a dictator, but then again, he did create us, so we owe him some debt of gratitude.

God as a facist? No.

Yeah it was just verbal horseplay. I didn't mean to offend. Ozmites, what did you find offensive to Christians in the film?

It seemed that the whole government was supposedly compulsory "Christianity", although they didn't say it... just based upon the ideals that were portrayed. ESPECIALLY the homosexuality issue... people ask me as a Christian how I feel about that issue all the time. They expect (and assume) that Christians hate gays/lesbians, and I feel they portrayed it as such in the moie

It was a subtle attack, if not a direct one.

*edit- was supposedly
