Welcome to the Global Right Alliance's forums!

Firstly, you can only see a very limited amount of the forums at the moment. You will be able to see the full forums and properly participate in our region and its community when you register.

Join our Community

Now, on to the region itself. Don't let the name, specifically the "Right", fool you. We've got members from across the political spectrum, and our political parties have always reflected this. The Global Right Alliance (GRA), as primarily a gameplay region, has been everything from an anarchy to a monarchy to a homegrown rotatorship. The region has had such governments because of its culture, which adores political intrigue and thrives on confrontation. With the increase of the region's population, many veterans have returned. It is the beginning of a new Global Right Alliance and a new government system.

I know the forums can be quite intimidating; there's people who have been here for nearly a decade and have over 10,000 posts. However, we welcome new members and encourage them to get involved. If you want help finding your way around, we have resources to help you to get on your way.

I think it SHOULD be legal. It save taxpayers money on having to put people who go to jail because of it.

The goverment could control the sale of Majiuana.Or stores could sell it.Either way it put drug dealers out of a money supplies and hurt gangs such as Hell Angels who need it for income.

People wouldn't be scare to get help if their addicted. Also 100% pure Majiuana is healtier then smoking which is legal.

Also if the goverment or stores sold it.People who smoke Majiuana would know their getting pure Majiuana.Unless where drug dealers might mix it with other more dangerous drugs.

I really don't see much worng with it.

I didn't vote on this. I've thought about this quite a bit. I've never tried smoking it so I'm not totally sure if the effects would be like drinking. Economically speaking if the government could take in the money they could use it to invade 3rd world countries. If a joint on the street were to bring in 5-10 dollars and a pack of smokes has 20 in it then a pack of joints would be a total steal at 40 dollars a pack and a total profit also. With the money the government spends fighting these drugs imagine if they weren't fighting it but were just embracing the profits. We could probably pay off the deficit and start working on the national debt but even with an additional trillion a year our government would find a way to waste it and not touch the national debt. I don't think that marijuana is healthy for the smoker but I doubt most of your other perscription drugs are either.

You wouldn't buy packs of joints. You'd get a weight of weed like you do now, except it'd have a logo on the packaging. That's the only difference legalising weed would have.

I lean more towards illegal, but i do believe it should be used in rare cases medicinally.

To me there is no reason why it shouldn't be legal. The only reason why it most likely won't be legalized here in the US is because it can't be taxed. That is because it can't regulated and that is because pot can be grown anywhere. So there is no way it can be taxed. They can regulate and tax tobacco though because it can only grow in a certain climate and plus they got a bunch of lobbists. That helps the case to. There are more deaths from alchol and cigarettes then from smoking pot and that is a fact. It is also a fact that it can be used as a medicine. Well it was fact until the Bush administration came in. I am just saying it should be legal. Being high is much better then being drunk or dying from lung cancer.

I support it theoretically...but there are way to many problems bringing theory to practice.

Sure, I think that people ought to be able to do whatever they'd like to and with their own bodies, to the point that it is not harmful to others.

However, it would be nearly impossible to prevent the countless ways legalized drug use would indirectly effect other in a negative matter...not to mention the impracticality of attempting to regulate a product market that has for so long been uncontrolled.

I dont have a massive problem with it. If it is legalised it will cut costs for policing the illegal activity, and become less of a tabo or risky thing which can draw people to it at the moment.

It would also be a money spinner, in ways of producing it and taxing it. Its distribution could be monitorred better, and could even stop people going on to try illegal and more dangerous drugs.
