Welcome to the Global Right Alliance's forums!

Firstly, you can only see a very limited amount of the forums at the moment. You will be able to see the full forums and properly participate in our region and its community when you register.

Join our Community

Now, on to the region itself. Don't let the name, specifically the "Right", fool you. We've got members from across the political spectrum, and our political parties have always reflected this. The Global Right Alliance (GRA), as primarily a gameplay region, has been everything from an anarchy to a monarchy to a homegrown rotatorship. The region has had such governments because of its culture, which adores political intrigue and thrives on confrontation. With the increase of the region's population, many veterans have returned. It is the beginning of a new Global Right Alliance and a new government system.

I know the forums can be quite intimidating; there's people who have been here for nearly a decade and have over 10,000 posts. However, we welcome new members and encourage them to get involved. If you want help finding your way around, we have resources to help you to get on your way.

Ah..bloody College Level US History test tomorrow....6 hours of college are riding on whether I pass or fail...meh..

In hindsight, it was a very harsh move to do; but you can not always judge the past because of what you know in the present. Judge not or you will be judged....>_>..we will someday be judged for Mr. Bushies' actions and heaven forbid that we are to be judged wrongly..

Anyway, in my own opinion the Treaty of Versailles is given the most credit for the start of WWII, but I believe it would have happened whether it was harsh or not because of the U.S.'s depression and France's opression of Germany.

Silly French..always screwing around until they get an STD and stand behind the Giant.

I have a US history AP test tomorrow.

Oh bloody hell, are you telling me all of the US History AP tests are tomorrow? Bah!

You have to have a minumum of 3 to pass right? I am NOT looking forward to the DBQ's. Hopefully it will be over something that is predominately WWII.

Yes a 3, but some colleges only accept 4 or 5s. Well good luck to you. Time for some last minute review.

Well, how did you do Jonewest? There were lot of 20th century multiple choice questions. I didnt like the DBQ too much, not much to write about.

If you think the ToV was too harsh, look at the Kaisers post war vision of Europe...
Lets face it, even if the Germans hadnt been given a war guilt clause, they would have started another war anyway. I believe the German culture was too centered around a dominant, military, traditional aristocratic mindset and I think that breaking this (as the British army and navy did in 1918) created enough bitterness and resentment ready to be exploited by the National Socialists of Germany.

Unfortunately I only got to question 61. ADHD kids shouldn't take AP tests :rolleyes2:\

I liked the Civil Rights bit of it..I would have prefered a topic concerning modern day or WWII..but meh..what can you do? I chose question 1,3, and 5. The only problem I have with the essays is the time limit..heh

it confuses us too..heh..thus why we have one of the lowest avg IQ's worldwide..-_-

DBQ is a data based question in which articles of research such as quotes or pictures are given to help answer the question. Open response is a "free for all" essay which lets you write about a topic of your choice (out of the two choices)

Yeah we cant talk about it until 48 hours after the test. My class began talking about it after 48 seconds. I got through all the multiple choice questions with like 15 minutes left. so I went back and did those I left blank. I left 14 blank in total. I chose 2 and 4 for the optional essays. finished with 15 minutes. So I think I either did very well, or did very bad.

the open response were quite easy and I got everything I wanted to say done in a page or less each. The DBQ was a page and a half. I write pretty small so I hope I got everything done that I should of. I probably should have wrote more on the DBQ but I didn't know how long the open response questions would take. I'm satisified but I just don't know...Yeah we spilt the beans as soon as we walked into our class room :P

The Civil Rights and Women's movement was ok..but I wish it would have been on something else.
