| Welcome to the Global Right Alliance's forums! Firstly, you can only see a very limited amount of the forums at the moment. You will be able to see the full forums and properly participate in our region and its community when you register. Join our Community Now, on to the region itself. Don't let the name, specifically the "Right", fool you. We've got members from across the political spectrum, and our political parties have always reflected this. The Global Right Alliance (GRA), as primarily a gameplay region, has been everything from an anarchy to a monarchy to a homegrown rotatorship. The region has had such governments because of its culture, which adores political intrigue and thrives on confrontation. With the increase of the region's population, many veterans have returned. It is the beginning of a new Global Right Alliance and a new government system. I know the forums can be quite intimidating; there's people who have been here for nearly a decade and have over 10,000 posts. However, we welcome new members and encourage them to get involved. godhatesamerica.com is an example of churches who use their own prejudice and try to use the Bible to back up this prejudice. Sites like this sicken me and make my emotions turn more and more cynical everyday. |

It's because of those who preach hate and not love, and even those who preach love do not show it. I read a story about a homeless man walking into a church and sitting in the middle of the church. The church members gave him nasty looks and held theirselves on high. The ushers stood in the back wondering what to do; that day their new preacher was supposed to be accepting the churches offer for him to preach there. The ushers and deacons decided that they should make the homeless person sit in the back because they wanted to leave the best impression they could on the new preacher. The homeless man resisted and insisted he be able to stay where he was, but after minutes of urging and "passive" hostility, the homeless man sat at the back. After announcements one of the deacons announced that a Mr. Simmons (I don't remember the name in the article, so Mr. Simmons will do ^_^) come to the front and speak. After moments of silence the homeless man stood up and started walking to the pew. The ushers didn't know what to do, but before they could stop the man he was at the podium. "I am Mr. Simmons and I came here today to accept your offer for me to become your preacher. However, because of the attitude this church as shown me, I no longer wish to accept your offer." Mr. Simmons then preceded to walk out the door and left the church in ponder and awe. With every religion there will be good and bad sects. mixing their own beliefs in with the teachings of the word. This is one of the problems with Christian churches, they tend to mix popularity and entertainment, with the word given to them in the Bible. The Bible teaches something so beautiful, but like all things given to man we have the ability to turn beauty into ugly. |

I'm sure some of you have seen the video clip of one of the higher-ups in this group on an American political debate show. They show cuts of actual rallies, and its absolutely disgusting. It's summed up pretty well, though by saying that there's a lady at one of these rallies holding a sign that says "thank God for dead soldiers" (or something to that effect). |

Shall I point to the Muslims who were responsible for 9/11? Or pro-life activists who attack abortion clinics? Or Americans (and others) who join terrorist cells in protest of government's actions and policies? Or the numerous other organizations and movements that have extremist sects? Honestly, what was the motivation for posting this? Did you just want to say, "Oh, look how two-faced Christianity is, its so bad and hypocrytically?" or did you have some other motive? Perhaps I'm just over-sensitive because I'm a Christian..... |

I don't think he meant to deny that there is extremism in other beliefs, or that christianity is bad because of this. |

This thread has surprised me a tad, not because of its content, but because no thread was started up following the Muslim protests a few months back when on their signs they were saying 'kill all the infidels' and 'Europe your 9/11 shall come'... |
