Welcome to the Global Right Alliance's forums!

Firstly, you can only see a very limited amount of the forums at the moment. You will be able to see the full forums and properly participate in our region and its community when you register.

Now, on to the region itself. Don't let the name, specifically the "Right", fool you. We've got members from across the political spectrum, and our political parties have always reflected this. The Global Right Alliance (GRA), as primarily a gameplay region, has been everything from an anarchy to a monarchy to a homegrown rotatorship. The region has had such governments because of its culture, which adores political intrigue and thrives on confrontation. With the increase of the region's population, many veterans have returned. It is the beginning of a new Global Right Alliance and a new government system.

I know the forums can be quite intimidating; there's people who have been here for nearly a decade and have over 10,000 posts. However, we welcome new members and encourage them to get involved. If you want help finding your way around, we have resources to help you to get on your way.

They also kill our economy.Elderly folks who bust their arse for this country many years ago,get maybe $100 in food stamps,some immigrant who just wants it easy and because their too lazy to work apply and get maybe $700-1,000 a week!It's pitiful! I say let them in under one circumstance,we set up checks on both borders,you want to become a citizen you legalize yourself.Right now...bust down on the illegals and kick them out!

Illegal Immigrants take jobs that we don't want, that we wouldn't take for 10$/hr. Given some take advantage of the system, but how many legal citizens take advantage of the system? There is millions of dollars out there for people who know how to exploit it... Social Security is going away because of the Bush administration and other stupid decisions by our, oh so lovely, government. I'm not really for, nor against, the illegal immigrant bit. However, when illegals come here and demand rights..that's when I call BS. Oh, by the way, weed is now legal in Mexico. So we're going to see a surplus of drugs traficking into the US. Along with many, many, college kids going to Mexico to smoke pot B) .

Sure if they paid 15$/hr anyone would work there. But the companies are making too much off of these illegals. Remember that this is corporate America, run by the corporations. The very fact that marijuana is still illegal is because the corporation can't afford to have anyone get ahead of them.

I was talking more about legal immigration. If more immigrants are coming into a country then there's more labour available. Given time the number of jobs will expand to absorb the additional labour - output expands and everyone's happy. Also to put it bluntly I think you'll find immigrants often end up doing the jobs that nobody else wants.

That or build an American Maginot line along the whole border.
