| Welcome to the Global Right Alliance's forums! Firstly, you can only see a very limited amount of the forums at the moment. You will be able to see the full forums and properly participate in our region and its community when you register. Join our Community Now, on to the region itself. Don't let the name, specifically the "Right", fool you. We've got members from across the political spectrum, and our political parties have always reflected this. The Global Right Alliance (GRA), as primarily a gameplay region, has been everything from an anarchy to a monarchy to a homegrown rotatorship. The region has had such governments because of its culture, which adores political intrigue and thrives on confrontation. With the increase of the region's population, many veterans have returned. It is the beginning of a new Global Right Alliance and a new government system. I know the forums can be quite intimidating; there's people who have been here for nearly a decade and have over 10,000 posts. However, we welcome new members and encourage them to get involved. If you want help finding your way around, we have resources to help you to get on your way. Getting Started If you're already a member please log in to your account to access all of our features. |

I posted in the embassies section first, but I feel a more broad introduction of myself would be more customary. That said, yo yo yo, workers, yo. I'm Comrade Martin, Secretary of Propaganda and Ideology in the NationStates Communist Party. My job is typically to write articles for the Workers' Media (we have a blog format now in addition to the forum version located here) and to make ideological/politcal articles in my Secretariat's section of the forum serving the purpose of engaging in discussion of Marxist ideology and educating members that are otherwise unfamiliar with Marxism. My role as SPI gives me the right to formulate official Party stances. I could conceivably be replaced by a person who supports Capitalism and they could reform the NSCP politically, provided that they do not defy the Constitution (which states that the NSCP cannot implement an Anti-Socialist policy), unless they've already pushed through a Constitutional amendment changing the rules in question. I may share ideological articles from the Secretariat here if welcomed to do so. We've been recieving your ambassador to us, Dipes, for some time. We like Dipes, and if he is any representation of GRA membership we'll get along more than fine. I've even proposed, both privately with Dipes and Old Zertaxia, and publically in NSCP internal discussions, the possibility of an alliance (what one might call a mutual defense pact) between the GRA and NSCP, in spite of ideological differences. After all, the old Peoples Revolutionary Party, which I was General Secretary of, liberated the GRA from the Fascist control of New Emerica. Essentially, we brought the GRA as it stands today in to being. We're proud of that legacy, or at least the remaining PRP oldheads now in the NSCP, which formed out of a merger between the PRP and several other regions. I've rambled enough, have a nice day! |

Hi and welcome to GRA Comrade Martin. Why not start off a few debates in the political threads and I know some here would love a good ideology driven debate. Things can get heated here but thats just our way

Welcome to the GRA Feel free to join a political party (but you have to move a puppet into the region first). I strongly suggest the United Conservative Party |

Thank you for the welcome, and I may indeed move a puppet to the GRA eventually. I doubt I'd join the UCP, simply because... Um... It's Conservative? Do I need a better reason? Also, I forgot to link you to the NSCP's news blog in my first post. Here it is: http://workersmedia.blogspot.com/ |

Actually, haven't seen him for months. I might speak to our Secretary of Party Intelligence and Security regarding Galifornia's membership in the Communist Party, which we granted to him since he met the requirements. I've been curious as to whether or not he might be "spying"... I guess this'll put that suspicion to bed, eh? |

Yeah, for some reason, Old Zertaxia and I had a really good discussion on this months ago. From what I'd heard about him from Dipes (nothing negative, of course), he seemed he'd be way too conservative for such an idea, but I guess that was a wrong assessment, on some level. |

About my attitude towards Comrade Martin: He was part of a region that entered and occupied the GRA to prevent it from falling into others hands and his region gave control back to the natives. Generally, I don't approve of alliances, etc. with socialists/communists/non-conservatives/etc, but I think I can make an exception in this case, considering. |

We are honored, surely, to be one of the few (if there any other) exceptions to your general rule about alliances. |

The Laws of GRA were changed some time ago to allow alliances with Communist regions. |
