| Welcome to the Global Right Alliance's forums! Firstly, you can only see a very limited amount of the forums at the moment. You will be able to see the full forums and properly participate in our region and its community when you register. Join our Community Now, on to the region itself. Don't let the name, specifically the "Right", fool you. We've got members from across the political spectrum, and our political parties have always reflected this. The Global Right Alliance (GRA), as primarily a gameplay region, has been everything from an anarchy to a monarchy to a homegrown rotatorship. The region has had such governments because of its culture, which adores political intrigue and thrives on confrontation. With the increase of the region's population, many veterans have returned. It is the beginning of a new Global Right Alliance and a new government system. I know the forums can be quite intimidating; there's people who have been here for nearly a decade and have over 10,000 posts. However, we welcome new members and encourage them to get involved. If you want help finding your way around, we have resources to help you to get on your way. Getting Started If you're already a member please log in to your account to access all of our features. |

Red Sox Report November 24th, 2006 RSN nations: 103 UN Delegate endorsements: 24 Posts on forum: 68,064 Inc-red-ible Fact: RSN has over 100 nations for the first time ever! 1. Founder's Day is TOMORROW, Sunday 11/26. After reading this, please come onto the RSN forum at http://z14.invisionfree.com/The_Red_Sox_Na...dex.php?act=idx and post away! Visit your embassy, play in the regional elimination game (defend your region!), and talk everything from politics to current events to religion to sports of every kind. This is our region's first birthday and we hope to have a massive party! Make sure to bring a designated driver... 2. RSN's recruiting has had incredible success this week as we launched an enormous recruiting drive. We now have over 100 nations and aim to keep this number growing consistently. Most recruiting has been done by Diesel 10, My Urinary Tract (who by the way has over 20,000 posts on our forum now), and Winstonopia. Keep up the good work! 3. Looking for knowledge of any sort? Homework help? Do you know what an Aristocracy is? Visit the new RSN University, home to facts we know about, well, everything. Physics problems? Essay writing? RSN University has got it all. News Bulletins - First alliance with TGLM nears completion - President Southern Acre goes away for two days unexpectedly and comes back finding citizens calling for his impeachment! - Constitutional Amendments being proposed to amend the process of proposing Constitutional Amendments... ironic... - RSR reshuffled, writers moved around, hopefully will work now Compari-sox Here at RSN, we have a government run by six elected officials; The President, the Vice President, the Internal Affairs Minister, the Foreign Affairs Minister, the First General, and the Immigration Officer. This same general set up seems to hold true for most other Regions, except for Jethnea, which has a Premier in place of President, and additional Ministers of Intelligence, Communications, and Speaker of the Assembly. Aberdeen also has a Prime Minister in place of President and an additional Minister of Culture. Red-itorial There is talk in the GA about adding an extra admin, called the Forum Supervisior. At the same time the the elimination of the position of Vice president is being discussed as well. While I am for the creation of the FS, as it will be nessecary since both of our admins will be away at the same time, I am also against the elimination of VP. The VP has a dual role in RSN, as an admin and as the president if the current president becomes absent. The elimination of this role may create a power struggle between the other members of the Regional Council. Editor, News: Winstonopia "Red-itorial": Teredona Comparisox: Micky Please give me feedback, questions, comments, or suggestions. Thanks, and go Sox! This is a government-endorsed newspaper but all news, articles, and editorials are the opinion of the author only and not necessarily all of RSN. |

Actually IMO An embassy is foreign soil (read Board) and we should have no authority to enforce spam rules in here. |

thankyou... I think you are being a little obsessive with regard to 'spam'... I really don't understand why people make such a fuss... a few bytes of mem, that you dn't even pay for, or a few seconds of your time... we don't make you read it. why can't you just live with it, instead of wasting everyones time making such a fuss. |

PI, *pauses for a moment* Im not actually going to bother... Anyway, just a few little points. yes, it is 'foreign soil' so to speak, however courtesy sometimes indicates that you post within what that region finds acceptable. Also, PI just likes to pick a fight at times as he is a sad little boy with not much else to do...i dont think he has a diplomatic bone in his body, so take what he says with a pinch of salt. Im not bothered about the amount of space or whatever posts takes up here, however i do think its quite 'annoying' for a lack of a better word for people who may not be as used to your type of posting.
*Sigh* While i can understand you wanting to keep your embassies active and to try and entice members over to your board, the way you go about it can be viewed more as annoying and therefore is a deterrent at times to some people. People check out the embassies here most of the time when there are posts. Just because people do not post a reply, doesnt mean they do not notice the place. And if you would have looked at some past updates, and gotten involved more in other sections of our forum, you would notice that since the revolution happened, we have not been very operational to put it mildly. |

Forget it North, he hit a nerve, I shouldn't have reacted as I did. You're right, I know, and I apologize for my above comments, I'll probably take them out to avoid further conflict. I understand that you may not be used to the way we post, I'll clean this out and tone it down if that will make you all happy. Could I please be granted mod powers? And speaking of that, do we have an ambassador, and who is the FAM, so that we can give you mod powers on our forum. |

I'm Teredona, and here's the newest update... Red Sox Report: Election Edition January 8th, 2007 Inc-red-ible Fact: The postitions of IAM, FAM, IO and HJ went unopposed! 1. Government Posts Filled Going off of the statistic above the following people won the above positions: Deisel 10 - IO Micky -FAM Teredona-IAM THe Southern Acre- HJ Congratulations! 2. Presidential Debates: Georgdem v. My Urinary Tract The Presidential race got off to a clean start yeterday as the two challengers both outline their plans for RSN during their term, if elected. Georgdem's major plans involve recruitment (getting and maintaining 100 nations in the region), the "fun factor", activity (encoraging residents to participate in the forums), and improving teamwork within the govenment. My Urinary Tract's plans to focus on foreign affairs and immigration among other things. 3. Who wants to be FG? Since the people who were nominated for FG went for other posts, the office is currently vacant. A debate ensued as to whether we should wait untill the Presidential election was over and allow the loser of that to run, or restart nominations for the postition immediatly. It seems the incoming Internal Affairs Minister would have the final say. News, Incredible Fact: Teredona Please give me feedback, questions, comments, or suggestions. Thanks, and go Sox! This is a government-endorsed newspaper but all news, articles, and editorials are the opinion of the author only and not necessarily all of RSN. |

Great thanks tere... Just for the record, I think we have plenty of fun... It doesn't really need presidential intervention in RSN. For me what does need motivation is moving our foreign affairs forward, and maintaining immigration. |

It is a concern for the GRA if one candidate is more willing to focus on FA than the other. And utract I agree with what you said. I thank you for the update Teredona and look forward to the next one. -------- What does FG stand for? |

I'm doing this with everyone, I want things to be in order, so don't feel like you're pushing me at all ^^ I'm just tired of the mess. I'm still debating myself which of the two would be best for RSN right now...I think we need more activity in the debate. |

Red Sox Report January 26th, 2007 RSN nations: 88 UN Delegate endorsements: 18 Posts on forum: 97,978 1. The FG Election Results After a second round of nominations and acceptances, Virtall became the new First General after running unopposed. There was some heated debate regarding whether the loosing presidential candidate could stand in the election. Ultimately, the person in question decided not to. An amendment to the constitution has now been put forward to prevent such a situation occuring again. 2. Role Playing Games now open Three new RP's have opened up by Micky and Utract. Since then there has been some renewed interest for our RP section. In Legend's Sailors you play as a survivor of a shipwreck stranded on an island. The thing is you're stranded on Atlantis... In Lawless Hunters a mysterious man posts a note with a mission on it inside the tavern you're sitting in. Do you take up your sword to join in or continue to sip your drink? Set in 15th century France, Utract's RPG has it's players as mercenaries. Want to join us? Click on the above the above links and read the instructions. 3. Notice It has come to our attention that some of our citizens have went to our friends and allies for help with our internal affairs. While we appreciate any gestures to aid us, we, the writers and editors of the Red Sox Report, feel that such concerns should be best heard inside RSN and RSN only. News Bulletins - All four Judicial Reform acts pass, Judicial Act repealed - Debate over should the High Justice propose legislation Editor, News: My Urinary Tract News: Teredona Please give me feedback, questions, comments, or suggestions. Thanks, and go Sox! smile.gif This is a government-endorsed newspaper but all news, articles, and editorials are the opinion of the author only and not necessarily all of RSN. |
