Don't let the name, specifically the "Right", fool you. We've got members from across the political spectrum, and our political parties have always reflected this. The Global Right Alliance (GRA), as primarily a gameplay region, has been everything from an anarchy to a monarchy to a homegrown rotatorship. The region has had such governments because of its culture, which adores political intrigue and thrives on confrontation. With the increase of the region's population, many veterans have returned. It is the beginning of a new Global Right Alliance and a new government system. I know the forums can be quite intimidating; there's people who have been here for nearly a decade and have over 10,000 posts. However, we welcome new members and encourage them to get involved. Not only is it pathetic it is wrong. Actualy, it is you're (as in you are). For example "Ath you're an incompetant arsehole". The word 'your' is used when refering to the possession of an object by the person to whom you are talking. For example "Ath, get your incompetant arse out of here". |

I'm not arrogant, I am just better and more intelligent than you. The only person on this board I shall admit is better than me is U-ropa and now he's gone. Actually, speaking of U-ropa, I think I walked past him at the weekend. |

Bullshit.
Bullshit + Nonsense
Hey, fucktard. Learn English. In the English language, one may use adjectives, like incompetent, as nouns, as in "You are a fucking incompetent." In my example, incompetent, the noun, would be defined as one who is incompetent, i.e. YOU. Yes, I'm the closed minded one here. According to you, Emperor Nero, the Christians are at fault for all the problems in America. Anyone who believes in any sort of religion is an idiot. Please, peddle your shit to someone who might believe you, like two-year-olds. You're so full of shit and yourself (which is very akin to the forementioned substance) that I think I'm beginning to smell you through the computer... |

Well I dunno. It looked rather like that picture of him from that thread that we had a few months back and it was in Oxford, but I dunno whether he still goes to Oxford uni. Whoever it was was walking with some girl towards the Frech Quarter and offered to carry her to wherever they were going. I only heard that and then we walked past each other. |

Well it didn't seem like that to me because he always seemed like he would do anything to get into someone's underwear, and she was pretty hot. Probably rich too. And I think it was a joke because they both laughed (laughing always signals a joke...) That does sound like U-ropa now doesn't it? He even had a posh voice. Mind you, most of the students do. |

Yeah wouldn't you know most people are baptized when their babies when they don't have choice or when they are children. Christians might be responsible for a lot of bad shit and good but they are smart. They know when to get someone to believe you. Christianity motto: Get'em when their young. Most christians became christians while they were children isn't that something or what. |

Baptism and Sunday School/Worship do not 'brainwash' you or make you inherently Christian. Being a Christian means making a choice to accept Christ into your heart and making a commitment to do your best to follow his teachings. Baptism and Sunday School/Worship merely serve as tools to teach the children of Christians about the doctrine and the belief system. Your particular brand of cynicism is not constructive and rather repugnant. Rather like you on the whole, wouldn't you say? And you may admit at any time your ignorance of your own language, as I see you've ignored my correction of yourself.

Ath you are so wrong. The only actualy proof of brainwashing is Christian Extremeists who are brainwashing children in 'Jesus Camp' search for that there is a documentary on it...very disturbing. Otherwise you are a wrong, from my experience most teens baptized or not aren't very religious, some become agnostics or atheists while others find religion when they are mature. I too was baptized as a child, my parents never pushed religion on me although we did follow some traditions. I was baptized because my grandparents were religious and urged all their children to get their children baptized. Until about grade 12 I followed the traditions and all that, I believed there was some higher being but I didn't really follow Christianity and all that. My grade 12 philosophy class taught me a lot and through my own little theories, and reading the bible I formed my belief. I now believe and try and be a good person and love god and follow the teachings of Jesus. But I also follow my own principles of never pushing my religion on anyone or using it to gain something. I keep my faith to myself. I only talk about it when asked or in this case where I need to explain something. And I'm still not a big fan of organized church because I see at as a man-made establishment that apart from its ideal goals can spoil and corrupt the bible and the teachings of Christ. So in conclusion I was never 'brainwashed' and I don't know anyone that was. I had an epiphany and found my faith in grade 12 during the year I had philosophy class. |

Similar to my becoming a Christian, I was baptized when I was 12 because my grandma is religious and I wanted to make her happy, apart from that I never really followed Christianity, just my own thing. I looked through the different religions, philosophies, etc. and found nothing that really tickled my fancy, per say. One day I discussed God and religion with a classmate I had never/rarely talked too and she invited me to her church, that's how I got signed up on the bandwagon. No one forced a knife down my throat and no one "brainwashed" me as a child to follow Christianity. In fact, everyone I know, apart from my youth minister's son and daughter and maybe one or two other people in my youth weren't raised in the church and didn't grow up on Christian morals. So by putting your opinionated theory, ath, beside my factual youth group one has to wonder where your proof is my dear. On another note, I must agree that the "churches" of this world are quite skewed from the teachings of Jesus Christ. Vincent I must admit I don't like anything about my church except for my youth group which is headed up by two really spiritual adults who are the best parents ever =). |
