| Welcome to the Global Right Alliance's forums! Firstly, you can only see a very limited amount of the forums at the moment. You will be able to see the full forums and properly participate in our region and its community when you register. Join our Community Now, on to the region itself. Don't let the name, specifically the "Right", fool you. We've got members from across the political spectrum, and our political parties have always reflected this. The Global Right Alliance (GRA), as primarily a gameplay region, has been everything from an anarchy to a monarchy to a homegrown rotatorship. The region has had such governments because of its culture, which adores political intrigue and thrives on confrontation. With the increase of the region's population, many veterans have returned. It is the beginning of a new Global Right Alliance and a new government system. I know the forums can be quite intimidating; there's people who have been here for nearly a decade and have over 10,000 posts. However, we welcome new members and encourage them to get involved. If you go to Heaven correct? Which has been described as eternal life and eternal happiness. Then wouldn't that be a terrible existence? Just think about the things that motivate us as a society or individuals. I mean we hardly ever get motivated or never get motivated when we are happy. We always try to stay happy and make that emotion last as long as possible in order to stay happy. If we don't have that drive then what kind of existence would that be? Wouldn't it be a miserable eternal life? We learn, we work, we explore, we socialize, we find entertainment and love in the hopes of being happy. But if you remove that drive then what else is there, because if we are eternally happy then why should we do anything? I mean my god the whole idea that heaven is great place is false. Wouldn't it seem like it would be a hellish place to live? I mean what would be the reason to go to college, work, date, or do anything else if your always and completely a happy? |

lol [cough] back on topic [cough] The best afterlife is one where you're still able to commit good or evil and be judged for it by fellow human beings. Because are you still responsible for your actions on earth after you die? Of course. |

As an atheist I see the afterlife as a long well deserved vacation. I also imagine you will be able to come back to Earth when you want and have a different life. |

I've never said there was nothing. I've never said that there isn't a life after this one. In fact I hope there is. Although because chances are there isn't one we should make the most out of this one. |

atheism (ā'thē-ĭz'əm) , denial of the existence of God or gods and of any supernatural existence, to be distinguished from agnosticism, which holds that the existence cannot be proved. The term atheism has been used as an accusation against all who attack established orthodoxy, as in the trial of Socrates. There were few avowed atheists from classical times until the 19th cent., when popular belief in a conflict between religion and science brought forth preachers of the gospel of atheism, such as Robert G. Ingersoll. There are today many individuals and groups professing atheism. The 20th cent. has seen many individuals and groups professing atheism, including Bertrand Russell and Madalyn Murry O'Hair. |

I'm sure there are a lot more atheists then we know of in history and in modern day. People don't want to say they are because they would probably get discriminated againest for it. |

Yes but that doesn't mean there isn't a existence after this one. Although if there isn't I'm content with the one I have. |
