Welcome to the Global Right Alliance's forums!

Firstly, you can only see a very limited amount of the forums at the moment. You will be able to see the full forums and properly participate in our region and its community when you register.

Join our Community

Now, on to the region itself. Don't let the name, specifically the "Right", fool you. We've got members from across the political spectrum, and our political parties have always reflected this. The Global Right Alliance (GRA), as primarily a gameplay region, has been everything from an anarchy to a monarchy to a homegrown rotatorship. The region has had such governments because of its culture, which adores political intrigue and thrives on confrontation. With the increase of the region's population, many veterans have returned. It is the beginning of a new Global Right Alliance and a new government system.

I know the forums can be quite intimidating; there's people who have been here for nearly a decade and have over 10,000 posts. However, we welcome new members and encourage them to get involved. If you want help finding your way around, we have resources to help you to get on your way.

Do ICT at GCSE and you will probably find yourself doing the same thing...

My school doesn't let people do IT for some reason. Besides. It's a bit late now, my mocks start on Monday. I'm not looking forward to that. I've done hardly any revision so far for anything and none at all for history, english, french or additional maths. English and french aren't that bad but add-maths... I really need to get off NS.

ICT sounded like a good idea to me so I took it along with half my year... Only to find its c/w is an basically how to follow orders - naturally I failled in some stlye. The 1hour 3 minute exam is easy to complete inside of half an hour (10 minutes for the computer type people) in which I dropped one three mark question and still constantly get ridiculed for it.

For us it was a 50 question tick the box exam. I got 95% or something silly.

I also passed my RE exam with a C without writing about any real religions. I wrote about the Jedi faith and also I wrote about their Sith seperatists. I also gave the most inhumane answers I could for the morality questions.

Good times.

We had to do a compulsory short course in RS (half a GCSE). We got to choose which questions we answered they was one of Satan and such, one on abortion and sucide and all that and each question could be done based on any of the major religion (though we only did Christianity in class). 60% of the Year got an A/A*. I did the Evil topic (which we didn;t do in class and still got an A*) my friend did Islam just for the hell of it and got an A. RS is awesome!

Anyone do Double Science at GCSE?

No they don't. Not at my school anyway. Triples get four more periods per week than doubles. So I get 4 periods of another subject.

At my school they allow the same lessons for double and tripple and even single science. Do they offer GNVQ science at your school? 4 GCSEs for whats basically double science, not Fair!
