Welcome to the Global Right Alliance's forums!

Firstly, you can only see a very limited amount of the forums at the moment. You will be able to see the full forums and properly participate in our region and its community when you register.

Join our Community

Now, on to the region itself. Don't let the name, specifically the "Right", fool you. We've got members from across the political spectrum, and our political parties have always reflected this. The Global Right Alliance (GRA), as primarily a gameplay region, has been everything from an anarchy to a monarchy to a homegrown rotatorship. The region has had such governments because of its culture, which adores political intrigue and thrives on confrontation. With the increase of the region's population, many veterans have returned. It is the beginning of a new Global Right Alliance and a new government system.

I know the forums can be quite intimidating; there's people who have been here for nearly a decade and have over 10,000 posts. However, we welcome new members and encourage them to get involved. If you want help finding your way around, we have resources to help you to get on your way.

Hello, what are your political beliefs. Cus if you're a commie (or a communazi) you can waltz yourself back out of here.

If you hold a decent political view (ie. conservatism or libertarianism) you're welcome to stay and make yourself comfortable.

Welcome.  Who recruited you, if anyone?

Thanks.

I would have to give most of the credit to Sedge's outreach telegram and the clear introduction/description/instructions it contained. I received a half dozen or so 'invitations' from various regions and the GRA sounded like the best fit. I had attempted to browse the other 10k or so regions but the interface is arduous to say the least and I found it impossible to find good options that way.

I appreciate your frankness but I doubt I could articulate easily 'what are my political beliefs.' From what I can glean from your post (and its tone), I trust we'll get along fine.

If it helps, I would be most pleased if Duncan Hunter (http://www.gohunter08.com/index.asp) won the 2008 U.S. Presidential election.

Other than that if you have specific issues for which you would like to hear my position, just ask.

Just say you don't like government involvement in the economy.

Just say you don't like government involvement in the economy.

Is that a question?

All government activity involves the economy; the question is: how much government activity are you willing to tolerate. I suspect that your statement reflects a dislike of the U.S. Federal Reserve Banking System and if so, we are definitely riding the same bus.

Well I don't live in America so I wouldn't know.

Well I don't live in America so I wouldn't know.

I was talking more about government welfare.

Thanks for the clarification.

I am an absolute opponent of entitlement-based government if those entitlements are funded through general taxation. Basic human rights include the right to the fruits of your own labor (your income) and the right to use them as you see fit.

Entitlement-based governments usually assume that the government owns your property/income and can use what of it it decides is 'needed.' Even a small income tax is unacceptable to me because of the underlying assumption that ANY of my income belongs to someone else.

That help?

Sedge's recruitment TG's are politically oriented, so you could probly have assumed he would suit you...

And wu-li, you seem much more intelligent than the average newcomer, so a double welcome for you.

Well, can almost be outwitted by him.
