Welcome to the Global Right Alliance's forums!

Firstly, you can only see a very limited amount of the forums at the moment. You will be able to see the full forums and properly participate in our region and its community when you register.

Join our Community

Now, on to the region itself. Don't let the name, specifically the "Right", fool you. We've got members from across the political spectrum, and our political parties have always reflected this. The Global Right Alliance (GRA), as primarily a gameplay region, has been everything from an anarchy to a monarchy to a homegrown rotatorship. The region has had such governments because of its culture, which adores political intrigue and thrives on confrontation. With the increase of the region's population, many veterans have returned. It is the beginning of a new Global Right Alliance and a new government system.

I know the forums can be quite intimidating; there's people who have been here for nearly a decade and have over 10,000 posts. However, we welcome new members and encourage them to get involved. If you want help finding your way around, we have resources to help you to get on your way.

We should form a Charter, new & up to date? Ideas?

Former Proposed Charter

--=Conservative Federalist Party=--

Proposed Charter:
In Order to make the Truth known, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common Defense, promote the common Good, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, we (will) establish the Conservative Federalist Party.

What We Are:
We have three core values: Freedom, Democracy and Stability. One day, the GRA is going to change just as it is doing now. We desire to ensure freedom to the Citizen Nations' denizens and make the GRA a democracy strong enough to last 233 years into the future. This party also desires to do the most good, including providing help for those who can't help themselves and responsible waste management.

Why, AE, WHY????:
None of the parties fit me and so I felt as though there was a needed party to broaden the spectrum. When I say Conservative, I don't mean Fox News conservative, I mean patriotic love of democracy and individual freedom. Everyone is valuable and important, their freedom is more important than the continuation of any government. So will YOU join the CFP??

Pin this thread, plx.

I think we should break them up into sections & add/amend things when changes are necessary.

Proposed Sections:

  • Charter Heading
  • Meaning of the Party
  • Why Should You Join!
  • Positions of Power within Party & what they do
  • Party Laws
  • Charter Conclusion

If we can get some material, I'll write it up.

Unless I am missing something...what is the party platform? What sets us apart from the others? Core beliefs...? Conservative = avoids change, traditional, less government, personal self-reliance. Federalist = states/regional rights over central government, less centralized government. Am I on the right track here, or does "what's in a name" apply here?

Well we still need that section IR.

I've never been good at writing that kind of thing.

If you think you got a good meaning of the CFP write it out, either it will be accepted, poked with a stick and changed a little, or burned.

No matter what we need the ideas. :P

I would really like to help out on this - is anyone actually still active in this party? :P

But, really, I can write quite well and make some good stuff up about providing economic freedom for the impoverished, and that by cutting government waste and contracting government duties to the private sector can actually help a nation grow rapidly and cut it's deficit.

Anyone still interested in doing this?

Party Structure

Seneca

Internal Affairs Officer
Velandri

Advisor
The Ruescher Empire

Elections Officer
Position currently unfilled. Apply here

Possible mottos [please suggest] :

Democracy for the free, by the free
Your vote, your politics
Freedom by choice

[I'm not entirely sure how I'm going to separate the Party Meaning from the Reasons to Join, we can fix that later.]

Reasons to Join

The Conservative Federalist party exemplifies everything that is good and inspiring about modern democracy. Founded on principles of passion for freedom, love of a democratic and fair society, The Conservative Federalist party is built on it's desire to help further improve the lives and well being of it's members and people. It is undivided in it's commitment to freedom, to prosperity and to democratic justice.

The Conservative Federalist party firmly believes that every person, no matter their age, their background, their race, religion, creed or colour has a right to democratic freedom and freedom of choice. Our democratic society has enabled us some moderate freedoms. We believe in more. More for you and your voice in politics. At the Conservative Federalist party, we treasure both your commitment to democracy and your voice for freedom. Freedom and democratic fairness allows us to be who we want. It grants us the ability to choose who we want and what we want.

If you are tired of not having your voice heard, if you are tired of the social and democratic injustices that plague our political landscape, your time has come to say yes to freedom and yes to a democracy that works for you.

Just a draft. Suggestions please. I'll write more in a bit.
