Skills- Skill Points and Feats are gained over time at the discretion of the GM Each Character is given 15 Skill Points to spend when creating their character on top of a choice of any or all of the Basic Free Skills. Note that each level of skill from Proficient to Adept to Master can only be gained if points are spent on the previous level. An example of this is that to gain Master Awareness one must spent a total of 9 points. 2. Feats- Each character can choose up to three Feat at character creation. Additional Feats will be gained over time at the discretion of the GM. 3. Force Powers Each character can choose up to 8 Force powers on top of the Free Force User Basic Powers Force Powers can only be learned from other force users, and Jedi/Sith Holocrons. Sith Holocrons are extremely rare. Ancient Jedi Holocrons are also extremely rare. Only known repository of Jedi Holocrons are in the Jedi Archives. Dark side users cannot access light side holocrons and vice versa. Gray Jedi can access both but are usually not welcome. Sith with sith holocrons do not reveal their ownership of a holocron and will usually be aggressive against those that try to take them. Jedi temples and academy's with jedi holocrons will attack Dark Jedi or Sith on sight and will generally not allow Gray Jedi access. Only accessible holocrons are ancient ones lost and buried in ancient tombs and other forgotten and lost ruins of Jedi and Sith buildings. Basic Free Skills List: Basic Ship Piloting and Hyperdrive Operation Riding Tame Animals Riding Speeders and Swoop Bikes Space/Star Navigation Land Navigation Amateur Short to Medium Range Weaponry Operation Swimming Climbing Skills List Awareness 1ptAwareness Proficiency 3ptAwareness Adept 5ptAwareness Mastery This skill governs the ability of a character to spot hidden objects or stealthy enemies. If you character is aware of the world around him he is also likely to be able to dodge sneak attacks. His success in spotting hidden things or characters depends on skill points versus the skill points of the hidden or sneak attacking character. Example: Han Solo has Awareness Mastery at 3 points, Greedo has stealth at 2pts. Han detects sneaky under table attack. Han shoots first. [In case of equal mastery online dice roll will be used. For both players...one with bigger number wins.] Computer Use/Security 1ptComputer/Security Proficiency [Can hack door security to open locked doors.] 2ptComputer/Security Adept [Can hack into secure files as well as security systems.] 3ptComputer/Security Mastery [Can hack into security droids, turrets and super secure files.] This skill governs a characters understanding off and skills with hacking/slicing computer programs. With this skill a player may be able to turn off security systems. Remotely control security droids, hack into secure files etc. This skills also applies to locks. Demolitions 1ptDemolitions Proficiency [Can set high power explosives.] 3pt Demolitions Mastery [Can disarm bombs and explosives.] Persuasion/Leadership 4pt Persuasive/Leader This skill makes NPC characters that work with you more effective. This skill has no effect on other players. Persuading other players and being seen as a leader to other players takes actual leadership skills. Repair/Mechanical Ability 1ptRepair/Mechanical Proficiency [Can repair light damage.] 2ptRepair/Mechanical Adept [Can repair heavy damage as well as make upgrades.] 3ptRepair/Mechanical Mastery [Can build droids, turrets, guns.] This ability allows you to repair, upgrade, or even built droids, guns, auto-turrets, ships, and transports. It does not apply to any other machinery such as industrial machinery. This skill is not necessary for Jedi to build or repair lightsabers. Tracking and Surveillance 1pt Tracking and Surveillance Proficiency [Knows how to follow someone from a safe distance, and how to place cameras.] 2pt Tracking and Surveillance Adept [Can read signs and tracks left by single target.] 3pt Tracking and Surveillance Mastery [Can read and understand the signs and tracks of many different targets, as well as being able to analyze battle sights and figure out what happened.] Tracking and Surveillance are skills that allows a character to be able to read signs and tracks that people leave behind when they travel. These signs can tell how the person walked, how big they were, where they were going. What kind of shoes they were wearing. A master can also figure out what happened in the aftermath of a battle and even what weapons were used. Surveillance is a side skill that gives the user knowledge of how to place surveillance equipment where it won't be seen as well as things like tracer darts. Trapper 1pt Trapping Proficiency [Can set-up simple traps that can stun or kill a single pray.] 2pt Trapping Adept [Can set up a complex traps that can catch or kill multiple enemies.] 6pt Trapping Mastery [Can set up traps capable of catching mid-level force users.] Trapping skills are important for any bounty hunter worth his salt. It's easy to kill a target but the hard part is catching them alive and helpless, and that's also where the big money is. Stealth 1pt Stealth Proficiency 3pt Stealth Adept 5pt Stealth Mastery Against NPC's, stealth proficiency allows a player to sneak by low level guards and civilians. An stealth adept can sneak by most troops and guards. A stealth master can even find ways to sneak by security and sensory systems. Against players the one with more skill points in stealth can sneak by the other. Treat Injury 1pt Treat Injury Proficiency [Can treat small cuts, scrapes, and superficial wounds on self and others.] 2pt Treat Injury Proficiency [Can treat deep cuts, stabs and even blaster wounds to non-vital areas.] 4pt Treat Injury Proficiency [Can treat all of the above, as well as make poison cures, can even revive fallen players and NPC's through CPR/Mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. But not oneself of course.] Treat Injury is a skill that allows a player to provide first aid for himself and others. This skill does not completely cure a character to full ability. It simply allows them to survive. If a player is shot clean or has lost a limb or been severely injured, a player with skills in this category can prevent the other players death but the injured player cannot participate in combat. The exception of course if a player only has some cuts and scrapes. If untreated they can become infections or bring on a fever that will incapacitate the player. But if treated the player will have full combat ability. Players that have been stabilized from serious injury must go to a hospital/hospital ship or be healed by a Medical Droid if their ship has one. Players who are very seriously injured or even die but are resuscitated must be placed in a Kolto Tank. Feats: Ranged Weapon Mastery [Short to Medium Range Guns] Sharpshooter Mastery [Long Range aka Sniper Rifles] Hand-to-hand Combat Mastery [Unarmed Combat] Melee Weapon Mastery [Swords, Vibroblades, Knives, Axes etc.] Dual Melee Weapon Mastery Double-Sided Weapon Mastery Single Lightsaber Weapon Mastery Dual Lightsaber Weapon Mastery [Prerequisite Single Lightsaber Weapon Mastery] Double-Sided Lightsaber Weapon Mastery [Prerequisite Single Lightsaber Weapon Mastery] Lightwhip Mastery [Prerequisite Single Lightsaber Weapon Mastery] Dual-Lightwhip Mastery [Prerequisite Single Lightsaber Weapon Mastery, Lightwhip Mastery, Dual Lightsaber Mastery] Small and Medium Ship Combat Mastery (Fighters and Corvettes like the X-Wing and Millenium Falcon) Fighter Command [Commanding fighter squads while in a fighter] Large Ship Combat and Piloting [aka huge ships with crews] Fleet Command and Tactics [Being able to command whole fleets in combat] Force Powers Free Force User Basic Powers [No Part of the 8 to be chosen) Poisonmaker Scoundrel in Space [knows how to hide in space] Force Push Force Pull Force Jump (Can only jump up to three times ones height.) Force Sense (Short range sense of surroundings, layout and positions of living and mechanical beings.) Force Speed (Can move very quickly for a short bursts of a few seconds.) Force Vision (Can have Predictions/Visions but they are often clouded and unclear.) Force Lightsaber Throw Force Powers List - (Universal, Light Side, Dark Side) Universal Force Push Mastery Can push large objects or multiple objects or people as well as open heavy doors. Force Pull Mastery Can pull large and heavy objects or multiple people and can close or pull heavy doors. Force Levitate Can lift objects or people and move them. Force Jump Mastery Can jump 10-15 times ones height. Mind Trick and Beast Mind Trick- Allows user to slightly control a non-mechanical beings thoughts by distraction. Generally only works with living beings who aren't very intelligent and don't have much willpower. Does not work on force users. Beast Mind Trick works on most beasts, the effectiveness of the Beast Mind trick is higher if one is in direct physical contact with said beast. Semi-intelligent beasts will take a bit of time and direct physical contact in order to gain control off. Force Enlightenment- Raises the attunement and power of a single force power through heightened meditation. This only applies to force powers that are used passively and not in combat. Such as Advanced Force Vision and Force Sight as well as Force Healing. Force Absorption -Prerequisite: Must be taught or learned from Ancient Jedi Holocron Force Absorption was a rare but extremely useful power, especially when facing powerful dark-siders. Few very talented force practitioners had ever mastered it. The power is described as being able absorb energy and redirect. This power is especially useful against force lightning and a hand is required to use this power. Force Perception- Allows the user to perceive emotions and thoughts through the Force. Force Comprehension- Allows the user to understand and intake information extremely quickly. Third Eye- Allows the user to in very simple terms 'see' the force rather than simply sensing it. In short this allows the user to see how others are suing the force and how strong people are with the force at just a glance. Breath Control- Allows user to slow ones metabolism enough that it can allow them to hold their breath much longer then possible without use of the force. Force Sense Mastery Can sense living and mechanical beings as well as layouts of building in a very large radius. Can sense general emotion or intention living beings. Aka if they are aggressive or if they are alarmed or at peace. Knight Speed Can move or run quickly for longer bursts 5-20 seconds at a time. Advanced Force Vision Predictions/Visions/Precognition that are longer and clearer. Advanced Force Lightsaber Throw Can throw lightsaber further and with more precision. Force Levitate Levitate other things and people. Force Suppression – This power allows oneself to hide their natural force aura. Therefore hiding themselves from other force users. Hiding within large populations of living things also helps hide ones force aura. One cannot use other force powers or be in combat, but the user can move while this skill is activated. Advanced Force Suppression- Prerequisite: Force Suppression This power is exactly the same as suppression but much more powerful and can prevent even force sensitives using force sight from discovering the user. Over a long period of time, force suppression can be taxing. Without periods of rest the suppression can falter, leaving force shadows. Force Camouflage- Prerequisite: Mind Trick This skill is a “mind trick field”, it makes all those in a vicinity of 20m from the user distracted or confused. It allows the user to be very stealthy. Even if the user is seen for a short period of time or in darkness those affected by the camo-field will ignore it or will at least not be alarmed by it. This skill like active defensive and offensive skills acts like a beacon to nearby force users. Force Body- This is a very dangerous skill that uses the bodies vitality to fuel force powers. The resulting force power used will be more powerful. But too much power usage at once or prolonged usage of the Force Body skill can will increasingly destroy the body. Starting from losing body heat, to internal organ damage, blacking out, falling into a coma, and even death. Force Immunity Immune to most poisons. Not immune to Sith Poisons designed to poison force users. Force Resistance Has ability to resist mind tricks, force influence skills like dark side corruption from dark side users and dark side infected objects. Resistance is an active use of the force so the strength of ones resistance may fall dramatically when other force skills are used or in force-aided combat. Jedi always use the force in combat.) Jedi Defense The ability to deflect blaster bolts with lightsaber. Force Sensitive A rare skill that gives force users who have Advanced Force Vision to be extremely sensitive to the flow of the force in the galaxy. Giving them a clear view and greater forewarning of events. This skill has a powerful downside. Force Sensitives who were in the middle of a vision when catastrophic events happened like losing a loved one, a master, or witnessing the death of planets or the death of millions can become sick, go into comas, go insane or even die. Force Sensitives can also feel when other force users are trying to find them using Force Sight. Force Sight- Prerequisite: Must be learned from Jedi Master A skill that can allow a Jedi to “remote-view”. Jedi with this skill can look inside ships and buildings using the force from far away distances. They can also locate other force-users [who aren't hiding their force powers] from long distances. Jedi that are Force Sensitive and use Force Sight can sometimes detect force shadows. Force shadows are ripples in the force left by force users in locations they were previously in. Force Sight can also give a Force Sensitive the ability to see force users who hide their force signature but aren't too skilled at it. Battle Meditation Is the force power that allows a force user to inspire hope and courage in large groups of living beings, this power can only be taught by someone who has it or by a holocron. It cannot be known by anyone from the start of the RP. The Jedi Temple Archives only mention this skill in their oldest tomes and holocrons. But they do not mention how it can be learned. Force Wave- Prerequisite: Force Push Mastery This power creates a telekinetic explosion around the user. All enemies within 15 metres are thrown 5 metres. Fall to the ground and are incapacitated for a few seconds. Force users with force armor can absorb or block this attack. Force Whirlwind- Prerequisite: Force Push Mastery, Force Wave This power encircles a target victim in a maelstrom of air and dust lifting them off the ground. The fast twisting motion stuns most opponents. Once the maelstrom stops it forcefully throws all enemies caught within it up to 7 metres away. Depending on where they land they may be stunned, injured, or incapacitated or dead. Force Affinity- Prerequisite:Must be learned from another. This skill is the equivalent of Force Sensitivity. But it increases direct offensive and defensive force powers instead of healing and force sight/vision/precognition powers. Force Breach- This skill has a chance of “breaking” one defensive power that a force-using enemy is using. Powers like their force armor or force resistance as well as stasis and stasis field. It cannot break force chokes, or powerful direct offensive attacks like force lightning and force whirlwind. Light Side Powers Disable Droid Ability to Remotely shut-off a single droid temporarily. Shields that are immune to force powers can prevent this power. Destroy Droid Prerequisite: Disable Droid, Mechanical Skill Proficiency Level, Ability to internally destroy key components of single or multiple droids. Force Armor A Force Power that surrounds ones whole body lessens damage or completely protects from offensive force powers such as force lightning or force push. Force Barrier Prerequisite: Force Armor Force barrier does the same thing only not on ones body. Force Barrier is literally a barrier or shield made of the force that can shield and/or protect partially or fully whatever is behind it from offensive force powers. An example of this is if a friendly player without this ability or that isn't a force users is about to be struck with Force Lightning a Force Barrier can help protect that person for a short period of time. Force Barrier can only stop basic strength force attacks. It cannot stop advanced or very powerful attacks, just reduce their effectiveness. Force Heal Force heal uses force energy to speed up ones own immune system to either heal oneself from sickness and poison or speed up the bodies healing system from bruises and cuts. Force heal is not instantaneous and cannot be used in combat, only in meditation. Advanced Force Heal - Prerequisite: Force Heal Advanced force heal is slightly more effective then Force Heal, does not require a long period of meditation but can still not be used in combat and is not instantaneous. But it can through direct contact be used to heal others. The immune and self-healing systems in bodies of non-force users being healed using force heal will revert to normal speed if contact is broken. Master Force Heal – Prerequisite: Adv. Force Heal Master force heal can cut down healing times to as short as 10 minutes of most wounds except wounds in vital areas. But it can stabilize wounds in vital areas and stop blood loss. For complete recovery from serious wounds a long meditation session is needed. Master Force Healers can cure up to two others with direct contact faster. Breaking contact with non-force users diminishes the effect of the healing. Revitalize- Prerequisite: Master Force Heal This is a very taxing skill. It has the chance of reviving an ally who has died. It only works within the first 30 seconds from the time of death. The ally will be brought back to life but will either be in a coma or incapacitated. If left without additional healing the ally will die again. Force Healing Aura – Prerequisite: Master Force Heal, Force Sensitivity Through meditation one can create a healing aura that will heal all others within close distance. Up to 2m radius. One cannot be in combat. Although those within the radius can. The Aura will only heal friendlies. The Aura does not heal the user, only the users allies within the radius. This skill is extremely taxing on the user. Guardian Angel – Prerequisite: Force Healing Aura, Master Force Heal, Force Sensitivity, Revitalize Light Side Jedi Only NOTE: This skill cannot be had by anyone in the beginning. Along with the listed prerequisites it must also be learned. The knowledge resides in a single Holocron in Asan Kator's tomb. It's location is unknown. This level of the force healing aura is an extremely rare skill that only the greatest of force healers have used. One must be a paragon of the side of light. This level of mastery can increase the radius three-fold and it's speed to that of a Master Force Heal but to the surrounding users. It is extremely taxing and cannot be used for long periods of time. The Great Jedi Healer Asan Kator was the greatest healer in Jedi history. He invented the Guardian Angel skill and only a few have ever achieved it. He and 12 other Jedi fought off a force of a three thousand soldiers and 100 sith warriors and survived with no losses. Asan Kator died from using the Guardian Angel skill for 30 hours of combat. Asan Kator is also famous for using the Guardian Angel in a unique way. He “compressed” the powerful healing aura of light side force energy into his hand and touched an immobilized Sith Lord (who was once a Jedi) and healed him completely of Dark Side corruption. Inspire Followers – This skill is a low power, low radius version of Battle Meditation. The light side of the force gives those within 2m of you more courage and willpower. Stasis – Prerequisite: Force Levitate This skill uses the force to envelop living and/or mechanical enemies in the force and prevent them from moving for a short period of time. 2-5 Seconds. User of skill cannot be in combat while using skill. Stasis is usually ineffective against force users. Stasis Field- Prerequisite: Stasis, Force Levitate This skill does not increase the longevity of stasis only the radius which is up to 3m. It envelopes multiple enemies within that field in stasis for 2-5 seconds. User of skill cannot be in combat while using skill. Stasis is usually ineffective against force users. It is completely ineffective against force users with force armor. Dark Side Powers Force Choke- Envelopes the victims throat with force power and can choke them. Lifting the victim with the force choke increases the effectiveness of the choke by using gravity to weigh the victim down even more. Force Armor can lessen the effects and/or damage. Force Crush- Prerequisite Force Choke, Force Stasis This power surrounds the victim with the force and then puts extreme pressure on them. It can cause internal organ damage. Force Lightning- Force Lightning is a dark side power that focuses large amounts of the force in the users fingertips and expels it at the enemy. Because of the amount of compression the force goes through it is expressed as as lightning. It can seriously burn and damage the enemy. Force lightning cam be blocked by lightsabers, it can be absorbed or reduced by force armor, force barrier and force resistance. Force Storm – Prerequisite: Force Lightning This is a very powerful force power that is an advanced form of force lightning. Force storm can create a field of lightning in front or even all around its user. It strikes from the above and below anyone caught in it. The radius and it's strength depends on the user but can range from 1-6m around the user. Force Affliction- Prerequisite: Mind Trick This power causes an illusion in it's victims mind that all depends on what the user wants the illusion to be. It can be anything ranging from illusions of symptoms of sicknesses and diseases all the way to illusions of extreme pain and damage. Dark-siders often use this skill in combat to break their enemies confidence in victory by making them believe they are too damaged to fight. Or it can be used subtly to make someone feel sick and not show up to work. Which can be very effective if that persons job is in politics and there is an important vote on that day. Force Mind Domination/Fear/Confusion – Prerequisite: Mind Trick, Mind Affliction This set of powers all follow the same principle type of force attack. Which is on the mind. Mind Domination, Fear, and Confusion both need to be used within close distance [but not contact] of the victim and they respectively cause the victim to either be completely mind controlled, be very afraid and lose courage and confidence, or become confused and disoriented. The length of time of mind domination only lasts as long as the user is using the power but Fear Confusion and Horror can last longer. Force Horror – Prerequisite: Force Fear This is the same as force fear but instead of affecting a single victim it affects many. Force Illusion- Prerequisite: Force Fear, Force Horror, Mind Trick, Force Dominate, Mind Affliction, Crush Opposition Can only be learned from Ancient Sith Holocron within the tomb of Naga Sadow Force Illusion is a very powerful dark side skill, that creates an illusion that is physically real to all who are affected by the illusion. It can range from making a single ship or small armada a huge force. Or if used subtly it can hide bases and temples as if they didn't exist. It can create whole realities for all those affected by it. It can even fool those who are strong in skills of precognition and force sight. If one is Force Sensitive the illusion can be so powerful that it can control the minds of those under its power. It can be used to control of mass battles by controlling ones own troops and the enemy separately. Drain Life- This power can over time drain the vitality of an enemy over time. It can make them very weak over time. In battles that last a few minutes it isn't extremely effective but just effective enough to give the user a slight edge. In battles that last over half an hour the effect of this skill is more pronounced. But the prolonged use of this skill is very taxing and prevents the user from using any other offensive powers. Drain Life is expelled from one hand. Drain Force- This power can drain force energy from force users. Making them unable to use force powers until they can regain more force energy, or it can drain the effectiveness of defensive enemy force powers such as their force armor and force resistance and force sense etc. Drain force can be stopped by force breach or something breaks the users focus. [Such as something falling on them or a force push.] Drain force is expelled from one hand. Death Field - Prerequisite: Drain Life, Drain Force A Death Field can drain life and force from all caught within it's area of effect. But unlike Drain Life it cannot be sustained over a long period of time. But it can be released in a single attack and can drain some life and force from all caught within it. Crush Opposition – Prerequisite: Must be learned from Sith Lord or Ancient Holocron of Marka Ragnos Tomb This skill is the opposite of the Jedi skill Battle Meditation. Instead of instilling courage and hope in a vast number of people it instills fear, confusion and uncertainty. This skill can be used from a relatively great distance. Like Battle Meditation this distance has to be in the same battlefield. But cannot be used across the galaxy. Information About Game World: The Republic and the new Sith Empire are currently not at war after a powerful invasion by the empire. They have a very uneasy and fragile truce currently. It's the perfect plot setup for characters to work in the background. Smuggling, proxy battles, hidden battles, intelligence gathering. Etc. It's completely perfect for our purposes. Because we can start at a certain point within the truce and as we play over time the truce can slowly start diminishing until all out war starts when we're all ready for it. Plus there are already resources and sufficient information on the Old Republic website and Wookiepedia probably has all the information we need regarding that time period. It's not really that much different...they still have lightsabers and blasters and all...in fact the look of technology is the only thing that changes in Star Wars...but the actual technology never seems to really advance. So you're safe if you mention bolters, blasters, repeaters, thermal detonators, etc All the races still apply too. His ancestor Darth Maya mated with Darth Revan when he visited the Sith Empire with Malak after the Mandalorian Wars and her child showed surprising power. She rose to prominence quickly thanks to the promise her child held and when Revan betrayed the Emperor and returned as a reformed Jedi, Darth Maya's fortunes were similarly slashed and the family fell on hard times. However in only a hundred years the family Revan regained its prowess due to the shear power and skill its direct members possesed. It was also one of the only families of dark side force users that do not show the physical corruption of the Dark Side itself, some say they are immune, others say its only skin deep. The Emperor himself returned several of Darth Revan's original artifacts tot he family to be passed down each generation. Both of Darth Revan's lightsabers, his original force inbued robe from the Star Forge itself and Darth Revan's vessel, the Ebon Hawk. Marek Revan was the first and only son of Miro Revan, and was trained ruthlessly by his father since his birth, and was even taken as his father's apprentice when the Sith Empire invaded the republic. Marek quickly surpassed his father in skill with both the lightsaber and the force itself, being one of the few Sith who master all seven forms of lightsaber combat. His father taught him a more balanced approach to battles, but Marek always favored a heavy offense and a weaker defense, which worked well for many years. Marek was actually plotting to kill his father when he was killed in the attack on Bothawui. Marek was made a full fledged Sith Warrior, but refused to take the Darth Revan name, instead calling himself Darth Marek to place his own mark on the universe. Marek took part in the battle of Coruscant and helped sack the planet and aided in the destruction of the Jedi Temple. At the temple midway through the battle Marek abandoned his commander to die at Jedi hands and quickly made his way to the archives. There he copied massive amounts of information directly from the archives to his ship the Ebon Hawk. Aside from that Marek also stole several Jedi Holicrons in secret, and even capture a badly injured low ranking Jedi Knight to open them for him. The Holicrons gave Marek new knowledge over several of his abilities that he possesed and allowed him to gain even greater power and control over them, and most importantly it gave him the knowledge of a rare ability, Force Absorb. Marek quickly mastered the rare technique, giving him the ability to absorb energy from blasters, lightsabers, lightning and other force abilities and either redirect it or absorb it directly into himself to re-energize himself. In only a few short months after mastering these abilities he was offered the ability to become a Sith Lord and apprentice under one of the Dark Council members himself. Marek quickly agreed seeking to gain the knowledge of his powerful new master. Darth Marek abandoned the Sith shorthly after becoming an apprentice to his new master. He was betrayed by his Master during a battle in which his position was being overun by rebels. His master was to send re-inforcements to drive them back, but instead of sending the troops, he withdrew the forces, abandoning Marek to the fates. It was during the the final moments of the battle when a grey Jedi came and saved Marek. Marek was injured and exhausted from fighting for hours against the rebellion and the grey Jedi arrived with a ship through the defenders and rescued Marek. While recovering the Jedi, who turns out left the order, stated that he saw Marek's demise through the force and a possible greater role in the times to come. Marek vowed revenge on his previous master and on the Sith Empire he helps rule. Before the grey Jedi dropped Marek off, Marek knew that he owed his life to this Jedi and grudgingly pledge a vow of protection and loyalty to the gray Jedi and other Jedi in the galaxy until the Sith Empire was defeated and his debt to the gray Jedi was repaid and his vengence achieved. Physical Description: Black Hair, Green Eyes, 6 foot 1 inch, male, human, fair skin, very slight olive toned skin, scars on on torso and arms. Personality Description Partial records stolen from report given on Darth Marek: Marek is an extremely bright student with a voracious appetite for knowledge. He has learned as much historial data as we provide him and learns to use the force at an alarming rate, faster then I've ever seen before. He is ruthless in his pursuit to gain more power and knowledge and stops at nothing to achieve what he desires. However a fatal flaw exists and that is his foolish notion of honor. He for some reason does not like feeling in debt to anyone. We believe this to be the reason he never actually killed his previous master, his father, was because he felt he was in his debt due to the vast training and knowledge he gave him. While this flaw prevented his quick rise in the ranks before, with a war taking its toll I recommend Marek for advancement in the to at least Sith Warrior, and in time perhaps even more. Force Absorption -Prerequisite: Must be taught or learned from Ancient Jedi Holocron Force Absorption was a rare but extremely useful power, especially when facing powerful dark-siders. They raised him as one of their own on Alderaan. When he was 8 years old he made his mother Miliana Kanton levitate. Soon after Master Koren would come to meet Arthas and take him and a dozen other children to the Jedi Academy on Coruscant. He was trained like all the other children. Arthas was a gifted child. Free from regret and fear. At an early age he learned a force skill that would eliminate all emotion from his mind leaving only logic, reason, and the force. By the time he was 14 he had read more of the Archives then any other child. While being proficient with the lightsaber and very comfortable with the basic force skills trainees were taught. He constantly hungered for more knowledge in the archives. Two months before he turned 15 and would be eligible for finding a master and becoming a padawan he started sneaking into the forbidden sections of the archives. There he learned of Jedi and Sith history that wasn't available to the young learners. He learned of Sith Lord Exar Kun and his corruption of a great Jedi by the name of Ulic-Qel Droma. He also learned of how Ulic turned back to the side of light. He even read forbiden knowledge of the Gray Jedi and theories of the Unifying Force. A week before he would be available for choosing by a master he got caught by the Keeper of the Jedi Archives...the reclusive Master Gnost-Dural. For his break of the rules he was brought before the council. The council was going to expell him from the academy. But Master Gnost-Dural who did not sit on the council but was greatly respected by it. Asked to take Arthas as his padawan. The council was shocked because Master Gnost-Dural hadn't taken an apprentice since he was a knight some 60 years ago. They accepted his proposal. Many years and many missions later Arthas became a Jedi Knight. On the day he passed the trials of knighthood. As a sort of graduation gift Master Gnost-Dural offered to take Arthas to the underground vaults where the Academy's [Temple?] most ancient and valuable holocrons are kept. He took him to the vault which kept the ancient holocron that the information regarding the Qel-Droma's was originally recorded in. It was made by Qel-Droma It was said that only descendants of the Qel-Droma's and those who knew the secret saying could access the knowledge within the holocron. Before Master Gnost-Dural could even utter the ancient phrase. Arthas' presence awoke the holocron to his Master's shock. The holocron in the image of Ulic Qel-Droma spoke. “Welcome my progeny, I have not sensed the presence of my family for many centuries. What shall you like to know?” Master Gnost-Dural's curiosity got the better of him and he egged Arthas on to ask questions. Answers to which the master new that the holocron would have never answered to those with the knowledge of the secret phrase. From this Arthas learned of his family and it's line and where knowledge of it disappeared. When the holocron started bringing up the option of learning a skill that would protect a jedi from cross into the dark side his Master was cautious but said nothing. When Arthas learned it...his master still said nothing for he saw the use in such a skill. But when the holocron offered after to teach Arthas sith powers his Master shut off the holocron. The council never learned of what happened because Master Gnost-Dural feared that the holocron would be destroyed...and he was Keeper of knowledge and history and he could not suffer losing such a piece of it. Arthas desperately wanted to learn more....promising to not learn the dark side techniques mentioned his Master allowed him to come unsupervised...and for a few months Arthas kept his word. He learned of the cult of Exar Kun which captured his great great great grandmother when she was just a baby. This is when the line of his family disappeared. And the holocron could provide no more information on the dark siders that committed the kidnapping. Arthas then realized that his parents weren't his real parents. His mind went to dark thoughts and he asked to learn some of the sith knowledge so that he could better find the cultists that stalked his family. He learned of Force Lightning and how to dominate minds and create paralyzing fear in them. But he was not corrupted for he used the first skill the holocron taught him. He appealed to his Master to help him find these cultists but to no avail. When his Master heard the desperation in his voice he feared Arthas would be tainted by the dark side. He looked at the video recording and realized Arthas had learn sith powers. He feared Arthas was tainted and hiding it. But for the bond that they had...he could not bring himself to out Arthas to the council. So he told Arthas to leave, gave him some credits of his own. He covered up for him told the council that Arthas left to find some ancient artifact for the archives. But he forbade Arthas to ever return to the temple on Coruscant. From then on Arthas wandered the galaxy, learning from many masters. He learned combat from Echani and Mandalorian warriors. Over years he would become a very skilled warrior with his lightsaber. He found the cave that Ulic Qel-Droma died in and within it visions of his ancestor guided him to his lightsaber. Then Arthas learned to fight with two lightsabers. One imbued with the spirit of his ancestor which guided his hand as if it was the hand of the Ulic himself. From there many more years passed of Arthas traveling the known galaxy learning from outcast and exiled jedi like himself wherever he could find them. Until one of those outcast (Gray Jedi) told him of Korriban, the sith tomb world of the sith. Arthas went there and was drawn to the tomb of Freedom Nadd. In that tomb he fought from being corrupted, but found records of the location of the tomb of Exar Kun...the enemy of Freedom Nadd and the great Sith Lord who corrupted Ulic Qel-Droma and turned him into his apprentice, before Ulic turned back to the light. Arthas feared being turned by the powerful influence of Exar Kun's tomb. He also feared he would find the cultists there. So he prepared for a year, honing his skills in the force and in combat. Then he flew to Yavin 4 to the tomb of Exar Kun. Physical Description: Arthas is a well-built human man of 30. See picture for rest. He looks a lot like Ulic-Qel Droma. Well I'm not a leader or lord of any kind. I don't have people under my command. I have plenty of underground connections all around the galaxy that allow me to dock and repair my ship when and if I need to. Otherwise I don't need a base....how many Star Wars characters do you know that had a permanent base. Vader had a planet that belonged to him yes...he had a fortress built on it. He had is super destroyer and the Death Star ok. Other then him...who? Han Solo...nope Bounty Hunter...he worked all around the galaxy. He wasn't from Tatooine he was Corellian. He owned a home on a planet I can't remember right now but from all that I read, he basically didn't come home for extremely long periods of time. Luke Skywalker? Lost his house and anything that tied him to it. Tatooine was a dump he otherwise didn't visit as a base. The millenium falcon was the closest thing to a base he had. Leia...she lived on Alderaan...that was blown up. Chewie...born on Kashyyk....could never return...lived in space with Han. I don't see the need for a base. I have places to repair/re-arm/re-supply. Otherwise I'm a drifter an exile. I have sith cultists following me I can't stay in any one place too long. Also nobody never knows where to find me....ever. That is an advantage. |

Your base would be hidden from all, except NPC travellers and what not. The whole idea, was if their are proxy wars and you want to fight in them, a lone ship can't do much. Now, establish a base with shipyards and what not, you got a powerful force |

The thing is I don't want to be leader of any forces or have anyone under my command or send troops. That would be a large scale RP. My ship isn't for those kinds of battles. My ship is uber fast...and evasive...with hidden compartments...If I want to be in any large scale combat I'll get myself recruited to a side. I just don't see the purpose of bases...and large scale battles controlled by players...as part of a character RP. So I'm not playing that. It shouldn't be too hard to pick a side and offer the services of a powerful jedi. I gotta make money somehow right so I'll just be a jedi mercenary when it suits me. |

The really sad thing...is that he copied me...and just called his ship "Upgraded Ebon Hawk". You know you could like get ships like the one Jango/Boba Fett had. There are models of other small ships online. The reason I went for the Ebon Hawk...other then its awesomeness is that it's a ship that you can have other people in with you. There's room for a few people to live in it. |

There are ships on google, people have done drawings of Star Wars style ships.
