| Welcome to the Global Right Alliance's forums! Firstly, you can only see a very limited amount of the forums at the moment. You will be able to see the full forums and properly participate in our region and its community when you register. Join our Community Now, on to the region itself. Don't let the name, specifically the "Right", fool you. We've got members from across the political spectrum, and our political parties have always reflected this. The Global Right Alliance (GRA), as primarily a gameplay region, has been everything from an anarchy to a monarchy to a homegrown rotatorship. The region has had such governments because of its culture, which adores political intrigue and thrives on confrontation. With the increase of the region's population, many veterans have returned. It is the beginning of a new Global Right Alliance and a new government system. I know the forums can be quite intimidating; there's people who have been here for nearly a decade and have over 10,000 posts. However, we welcome new members and encourage them to get involved. If you want help finding your way around, we have resources to help you to get on your way. Getting Started If you're already a member please log in to your account to access all of our features. |

![]() Delegate: Kubrikistan Population: 102 Security Status: Guarded Date: Sunday, September 5th, 2010 News The biggest news this week: one of the co-founders of Equilism has visited the region. Ostendt, who was one of the original members in the region along with Equility and Westwind, has been seen on Nationstates.net in Equilism, but has yet to wander back into the forums. The forums have been quieter than usual due to several members' RL travels and work. However, there are some things to report! First of all, Equilism is considering getting a twitter account. Also, Former First Minister The Monkye ran a half marathon only 13 minutes behind the world record! We congratulate him on his achievement. In the Government The assembly is working on a draft of the judicial reform bill that they hope to bring into law. Also, pending the decision of the Assembly, Equilism may end its treaty with the Third Wall Block, due to the inactive status of the "organisation" behind it. Many Assembly members still agree that Equilism should protest Rule 4. World Assembly Results This week, Equilism voted on the following resolutions: (votes for, votes against, votes to abstain) •Commend 10000 Islands - Against due to 3WB treaty (no vote) •Liberate Greece (currently voting) •Identity Theft Prvention Act (currently voting) Domestic Affairs The Domestic Affairs Ministry is working on starting up a book club! All people who are into reading or those who are not but are willing to come anyway are invited to join! Games and Fun In games and fun, the cooking competition has moved on to voting, with Monk's dish out front by one vote at the moment. There are also plans to revive the caption competition. In the Guys Versus Gals thread, the guys finally won! The game has restarted promising another long trudge toward 0 or 1000. Role Playing The Authorities have successfully held in and nearly eliminated the threat of puns from the E-Bar, but they are still trying to deal with the problem of haikus. Most people believe they stopped the puns by giving Hitchcalm an exam to study for in one of his classes. The threat still hangs over the place, though, as Hitch could come back at any time... Both the Role Playing Worlds and the Star Trek RP have been popular. Immigration Hitchcalm's Dangerous game of P-I-G has started, so next week, we may see some attempts at catching up by some unlucky minister or ministers. The immigration Ministry is also very proud to annouce that they got the nation count in Equilism back over 100! This is a very good omen! Foreign Affairs After being closed because of inactivity, the Gatesville embassy has reopened! Gatesville and Equilism have a long history of good relations, and Equilism is happy to see that they have become active again. Also in Foreign Affairs, the New Galactic Empire's consulate was upgraded to an embassy. E-Army The E-Army participated in the liberation of Pagan. The mission was a success. Quote of the Week:
