NBA's Biggest Busts Since 2000

This is an article on the 5 biggest busts since the 2000 NBA Draft. Rules are simple, have to be a top 10 pick in the NBA Draft and have to have played at least 10 games in the NBA to date(aka those who never played/came over to the NBA aren't included. Injuries weigh a little.).

5. Adam Morrison - 2006 Draft - 3rd Overall by the Bobcats
Most Known For: Being the 1st player picked by Michael Jordan

You can argue that his torn ACL was the reason he was bad, but he wasn't ever good even before his ACL tear. He was an extremely mediocre shooter, very very bad rebounder, and had issues passing. Coming out of Gonzaga where he was a national player of the year award with J.J. Redick. When he got into the NBA, people branded him as can't miss and won't miss. He did just that and missed, playing in the NBA(benching, really) until 2010 with the Lakers where he won two rings. He landed in Turkey, where he last played in 2012 for Beşiktaş Milangaz.

4. Nikoloz Tskitishvili - 2002 Draft - 5th Overall by the Nuggets
Most Known For: Having a very long name.

The risk with foreign players is always this. Nikoloz was a great 18 year old prospect in 2002, but never got anything going simply because of his lack of wanting to be in America, but needed money. First off, no one knew what position he would play. He was 7'0'' 245 lbs when he was drafted into the league but never was set into a position, even playing at SF while trying to make his mark in the NBA, which never ended up happening. He was out of the league by 2006, starting 16 games over his time in the NBA, averaging under 3 PPG in his career.

3. Stromile Swift - 2000 Draft - 2nd Overall by the Grizzlies
Most Known For: Having a great name.

Yeah, he's also known for mediocrity. Averaging a mediocre 8 PPG and 4 RPG in under 20 MPG, Swift was looked at in 2000 as the best non-bust prospect the NBA'd seen in years. He was exactly the opposite. He was an undersized Center who was outplayed by bigger centers, never being able to put on enough muscle to bang back at people. Some would say he never got a chance, but playing 8 seasons and never made his mark, with his career mark of games started at 26.

2. Kwame Brown - 2001 Draft - 1st Overall by the Wizards
Known For: Throwing a cake at a man in 2006.

Kwame Brown is the epitome of busting in the NBA Draft. The only reason he's not number one is that he's stayed in the NBA for his whole career, never once not playing at least a game in a season. Kwame is not a bad scorer but his defence is just awful, like LeBron airballing with Larry Bird in 2k awful. Kwame's made a living getting crazy multi-million dollar contracts yearly for just being there. In 2011, Kwame made 7 million dollars on the Warriors to appear in 9 games. Kwame's rolling in the dough for doing what millions could do, warm a bench.

1. Darko Miličić - 2003 draft - 2nd overall by the Pistons
Darko is the biggest bust since 2000 and maybe the biggest bust of all time... Darko was picked over players like Carmelo Anthony, Chris Bosh, Dwyane Wade, David West, etc. Darko's considered a big bust for that reason. However, back home, Darko's considered a legend, so at least he's got that going for him.
