I played Baseball and Hockey growing up as a kid. But now I usually just play some football with some friends on a weekend.

I used to play football (soccer) at school during lunch with the rest of my year. Wasn't many rules though, we never had any actual pitch dimensions so there was no corners, no throw ins, etc. it was just get the ball in the goal. Fouls didn't count so kicking someone's ankle into oblivion was fair game. Was still awesome to play though. Normally I stayed in defense because I was one of the best in my year at it. =3

Nice, I played 2 years of Football/Soccer. I was a forward. I did so much running. But Baseball was my sport. I was third basemen and pitcher. Played that through high school.

I was first baseman. I used to be able to do the splits stretching for poorly thrown balls... I was nominated for player of the year of my school, but lost due to a student playing through the lose of his mother due to cancer. He was good and deserved to win it.

Nice!
Yea, being a third-baseman; I always felt bad when I short hopped the throw. Throwing from 3rd to 1st isn't as easy as it looks on TV. I mean it is, but accurately; that is the challenging part.

Props about the sportsmanship though. I had a similar situation, but it was a kind with down syndrome and he wanted to play baseball. So our team 'drafted' him and placed him in the field, at 3rd base. I gladly sat out to watch him play the game. Such an inspiration to see how something so simple can change someone's life. :)

Well said. I wish I still played sports, but these video games have taken over my life.

Video Games took over my life too, but that is okay because that is my career... I am going to DeVry University to become a Video Game Designer and in the process of getting my bachelors in GSP (Game and Simulation Programming). But I still play sports. I run with my brother so I stay in shape.
