I have to agree with you, and for pretty much the same reason. Halo 2 MP had this quality that kept people playing. I know it kept me playing once I got to LIVE. IT was great, and the experience was indeed genuine. |

And there was no Bullshit BR spread to ruin long-range fights. And overall required more skill. |

Halo 1 and Halo 3. Halo 2 was confusing and kinda boring. |

I just liked Halo 3 the most. I think that it requires the most skill out of any game. |

No. The BR in Halo 3 requires more skill to use properly. I've had plenty of times where the BR made long range fights much more enjoyable. Furthermore, with the addition of equipment, you need to learn to use that right, or you won't last to long. For instance, throwing a power drain up a grav lift and throwing a frag in slightly after, the power drain takes away shields, and the grenade will either kill the person at the top, or if no one was there, destroy the power drain to make it safe for yourself. |

I've only played 3, so I'll vote for that. |

I'd have to say Three. One was quite impressive for the time, but Three reins supreme for me now. One, Halo 3 has so much multi-player customization, the only way It could significantly increase in options is if It literally allowed you to make maps from scratch. While Halo CE of the pc does offer this, and there are some amazing maps and mods, its just madness when you run into someone with a "Rocket Launching Assault Rifle". Two, Halo 3 has theater mode, which can be used for observing your gaming strategy, making montage videos easy, and (of course) machinima making. Do you even remember how machinima with Halo used to be done? One player set aside as the "Cameraman"? Crazy by modern standards. Three, It finished the story... kinda. I was one of those people that hated the H2 Cliffhanger. It would have been great, if there wasn't a three year wait to continue the story. Also, I hated a fraction of the H2 campaign levels (all but the last two Arby missions. I didn't mind playing the arbiter, but he got stuck with all the crappy levels) but the only level that I didn't like In H3 was Cortana: The Satan's Lower-Intestines form of the infamous Library. Four, co-op. Nothing better than breezing through Legendary mode with four players. Five, the music score. I found the score in Halo 3 less an attempt to be all "rock-edgy" (*ahem* Halo 3) and more focused on what made the Halo music famous in the first place. Also, Marty cut that deal that made it perfectly legal to use any music from the H3 soundtrack in limited-license machinima at no cost. Six, Halo 2 didn't have the AR. That’s like a Mario game with no mushrooms. And the SMG was two weak to be the "dual-wield" equivalent. Seven, Halo 2 had a hilarious excuse of a pistol. The only way that weapon was of any use, was in close quarters combat with an overcharged plasma pistol or a Brute Plasma Rifle in the other hand. Eight, Halo 2 had inhumane ammo limits. Yes, this is turning more of a list of bad things about H2 but c'mon. Halo 1 Weapons allowed several extra clips for Human Weapons. Halo 2 allowed 3 extra BR clips. Yes, Halo 3 is the same with the BR, but at least you have the MA5C to switch to. (See reason number six) |

The Great Dramatist (according to Bob)

I'd take the third, it advanced all the things that made Halo 2 great, and made existing ones even better. |
