Please read these rules of the board and remember them, because, as a member of my board, you are responsible for your own actions. I do not tolerate breaking my rules and I really don't appreciate people abusing loop holes through them. Try this and you wont be a roleplayer here for much longer.
- Please Refrain from any sort of disrespect during the duration that you either visit or sign in for. I understand that there may be some ill feeling for someone you may not like, but as a Staff member I must insist that you try to make a clean slate with this fellow, at least here. Outside the board, regardless if this site is mentioned or not, I could not careless for what you and the other party have to bicker about. This site is for the use and fun of all its member and as such, you are expected to act civil towards your fellow RP members.
Please do not disrespect the staff members, again I understand that there might be someone you may not like. but as it is, that person is here and you can not really do much about it. You may bring up any matters you may be concerned about, but that's about it. The Staff are here to guide the plot in the right direction, to help enforce the rules and keep order, and help as much as they can. This is not to say that they have any right to disrespect any regular members of the board either. Such actions from a staff member should be reported to another Staff member such as an Admin.
Please do not Discriminate against any members of this board. I've seen RPG boards die off because of racism, Prejudice and sexism problems. Regardless of who you are, you are a member of this board and as a staff member and Admin of this board, I will see to it that problems like these are dealt with immediately. (This does not apply to in-character moments, but do keep it civil)
- I would like to express that all members give their utmost when role playing here. I understand there can sometimes be nothing to really write, I've been there plenty of times and trust me, my posts suffer for it. All I ask is that you please provide the best you can such as what your character is doing, what are they looking or interacting with. The more information you give your chosen interaction, the better other can reply to your posted actions. That said, and I do not like this as much either, there will be a one paragraph minimum to all posts regardless.
Please do not lift from another persons post, again I know how hard it can be sometime to have to constantly describe what your character is doing, but your own words are what makes the characters actions more notable and tells others you are at least trying to be a good sport. This brings me to a more common problem of God modding and Meta gaming, these are both methods of power play that are not allowed here whatsoever. Once again, I understand somethings just do not make sense in a writing game, but as it stands you can non auto hit someone just because you are trying to preform a stunt or plan. Your character also can not know everything even though OOC you are reading the other factions development threads. IC and OOC are two different worlds and information just does not work like that in either.
Also, there is a 48 hour style rule in affect for this game. What that means is you're expected to know when the right time to post is. Waiting for your opponent to reply or making your opponent wait for you to do something IC and OOC puts this rule into active status for that duration. Should one of you not post within that time, it is the job of one of you to notify the other party thus giving them 24 hours more to make a move. Now please do not abuse this rule and intentionally wait for the timer to hit zero, that's rude and very disrespectful to most, if not all, of your fellow members.
Please take note that because of Real life problems, this rule sometimes will not have to happen. Most people here have lives outside of the game and need to take priority over this. If this is the case, please do let a staff member know what is going on or leave a note for "leave of absence" in the introduction/leaving section of the board.
- All members are considered "Newbies" when newly registered and of course this is regardless of past experiences. That being said, under the context of rule one, this does not mean someone should be call "Newbie" all the time and get pestered for it. Even as a new member, you are entitled to your respect regardless.
As a new member, you are not entitled to use "Gundam Class" mobile weapons. What this means is while you are allowed to customize the production model for colors or weapon swaps, please refrain from making top of the line Systems and weapons. Stuff like Mirage Colloid, Mirage Colloid Virus Spreader, Phase shift armor class systems and performance enhancing systems are what we consider top of the line. You can't have everything now, but over time show us you are deserving of such upgrades and we'll make it that much easier to approve. You'll get that gundam class sooner or later, but for now, just stick to good'ole standard units.
That said, please be careful of how many characters you make and use. While there is no real limit, I recommend one for the time being and add on as you go. Unused characters forfeit your privilege of making more, so please use what you have or just do not make more than you can handle. The same can be said about mobile weapons, you HAVE to start out with a Production grade starter of your choice as long as the faction you are with can get hold of it. There will also be no constant swapping as you really should use what you have, all mobile suits are useful. If its got a gun, its not useless :P.
(Please Note: The mention of Cosmic Era timeline tech is strictly coincidental. These systems are not available in this particular game)
- I want to specify something about user profiles, yeah they are yours to use, but there are things you have to restrain yourself from doing anything such as applying links to adultery type websites or any pirated goods type stuff. Under the Zeta boards terms of use, I really do not want to go through that kind of inconvenience. You may post images and stuff, but I do recommend you use your sig for character and information links as it would make for good convenience. I would also like to add that placing advertisments in your Sig is not allowed, the only real place you can place any links to other RPG boards is that one form on your profile edit page.
Other than that, please be aware that the use of Sigs and Avatars is a privilage and not a right. There is a 5000 character limit to sigs, I know that is probably a little much, but the amount of space will be appreciated. I do not what to see any prohibited links or bad pictures in it or I will remove your ability to do so. Same with Avatars, 120x120 in size no bigger than 35kb in capacity, any bad pcitures will be removed without notice.

Weapon Regulations To make the battlefield a better place, I want to apply some rules for the weapons you're using.
All weapons have Do's and Con's that affect the battlefield in a great way. To keep these weapons at a fair usage level, I've implemented a chart to help you know what you can do to use these weapons efficiently.
(Note: Please be aware, this does not mean the limit is per weapon. You are limited to only one of any multiple weapons or systems that you may have of that one type.)
CIWS and Vulcan's: One 75 round burst, or A 100 Round Bursts for Supressive. A full 20-30 rounds can take a single missile, but any round that miss lower your chance to counter it. Beam CIWS: 20 small bolts per post or 30 for supressive. Rapid Fire Beam Guns: (Gouf Ignited) Two up to 10 bolt bursts per post. Beam Rifles: Two standard shots or Three Suppressive shots per post. Beam/Regular Sniper Rifles:(M1A M1A Astray) 1 Shot per post or 2 Suppressive. Hyper Phase and Multi Phase Beam Cannons: 1 shot per post. Plasma Beam Cannons:(Freedom and Abyss Gundam) 2 shots per post. Scattering Beam Guns:(DOM Trooper Series) 1 shot per post. Beam Smart Guns:(Xeku Series) 1 shots per post or 2 Suppressive. Shotguns:(Kampfer) 2 shots per post or 3 supressive. Beam Boomerangs: 1 throw per boomerang per post. (these can be shot down, Returns are only successful if it has not been destroyed before your next post) Grappling hooks and wire launched weapons: 1 shot per hook or wire weapon, these can be cut from the line. Beam Sabers: 2 Slashes per post or 1 Thrusting Stab per post. Anti-Ship swords and Heavy/Big Beam Sabers: 1 slash per post. Missiles: A max of 4 per post. Micro Missiles: A max of 6 per post Unguided rockets: A max of 8 per post. Railguns: 1 shot per post and 2 Suppressive. Machine Guns: Up to 10 shots per post, 15 for suppressive. Battle Rifles: Two 3 shot bursts per post or Three 3 shot bursts for suppressive. Linear Rifle: 3 shots per post or 5 supressive. Bazookas/Low-Recoil/Recoiless: 2 shots per post or 3 Supressive. Grenades: 2 throws per post
