Personality: Konstantin was once a an average fellow, a happy well adjusted human being but once exposed to an ELS, his personality went into a total overhaul, his tactical prowess increased and his suit piloting but his moods were dark and he wears a maniacal grin all the time. His eyes shine with a dark metallic reflection. His passions became dark and he has developed a penchant for cruelty, his wife unable to take him anymore fled to earth along with his children. He is a ruthless individual, he believes he is borne for war and naught else, and rubs his hands in glee with the thought of the battles to come. History: Konstantin Quintis Rommel was born into a family with an extensive military history going right back to medieval earth. Nearly every member of his family and his descendants served in conflicts although some served on questionable sides all served with distinction and honor even unto death. His original family home was wall to wall with war memorabilia , picture banners, medals and weapons all loving cared for like young children. He had fond memories of sitting on his grandfathers lap reminiscing over various items. However his families finances fell apart, they were forced to sell their home and prized possessions and his grandfather died from the strain of the loss. Looking to start a new life his parents took him to live on Mars when he was a teenager and he enlisted in the officers academy while his parents worked two jobs to put him through education. He put every ounce of effort into his education and graduated at the top of his class achieving grades surpassing historical records. Once he had finished there, he joined every course, every optional training programme available to him, in order that his families name would rise once again. While in blind pursuit of this goal, he blinded himself to just about everything else until he met an ESF's generals daughter named Linda Thompson, she was drop dead gorgeous and his heart nearly stopped when they were introduced, all thoughts of advancement went out the widow and they two fell madly in love, her father gave his blessing as Konstantin's record spoke for itself. The two dated happily for several years and eventually married, in this time Konstantin became a warmer person far happier and more pleasant to be around, his military advancement paused for a while and then stopped completely when the first of their two children were born. His wife pushed him to complete his dreams and he went into extensive pilot training and became a top class pilot and his superiors took notice. At the age of 34 they approached him with an offer, they wanted an man of his top class abilities to bond with an ELS, they promised him anything he wanted and explained they inherent dangers, he took his time and spoke to his wife about this and she backed his decision stating they would be right here waiting for him. The bonding procedure, he has no memory of, but the effects were dramatic, his martial abilities went up, his mind racing with calculations and his problem solving speed was dramatic but his personality darkened he became moody and cruel. His mind bonded completely with the ELS however it was determined that it happened far too fast and certain personality defects did not have time to work themselves out. The result was irreversible, where the ELS began and Konstantin ended could not be determined. This was to have severe personal repercussions for Konstantin's personal life, his wife and children no longer recognized him seeing him as some heartless stranger and pleas became arguments, he had lost what emotional connections he had for them due to the bonding, his memories of their life together became cloudy and dark. She begged and begged for the former man she loved to come back and he pushed her away stating this is what she agreed to and if she didn't like it she and the kids could go to hell and he pushed her aside and left his house. He struggled with the bonding for a long time, the only memories he kept were that of stories of glory and battle of war and death, he couldn't remember what they were relevant to but they were his and his alone and he embraced them wholeheartedly. His wife left him for earth and she left him a letter saying she would always love him and he tore it up in disgust along with the photos of his previous family and never contacted them again. He had nothing in his heart for the woman, she had claimed to love him and left him here. He embraced a life in the military and when the war broke out he was delighted and frankly the urge to make war was overwhelming, to feel the kick of a firearm again amongst the smoke and shrapnel, to see the light dim from an enemies eyes, the glory and honor to be had that's what he was meant for, not to be some so lapdog to some silly woman. As the war broke out, he was involved in some minor exchanges between the two sides and received his chest scar when the XIV suit took a hit across the midriff from a beam saber, nearly killing him but in that moment he felt alive and responding by gutting his enemy by driving both his beam sabers into the suits chest and lifting him up from the ground, he could see blood trickle from the wounds and in the glint of its reflection his own smiling face, truly this was home. Konstantin Rommel earned the call sign Hastur, due to his temperament, battlefield aggression and ruthlessness, instead of being insulted, he embraced it and called his suit variant Yellow King, it seemed appropriate and in a distrubing way , he enjoyed his "fame" among the other pilots.
