<<--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->> Open Space 0430 hours After an unsuccessful battle, the Devastation had seen to returning to the DSSD Troya Station, the route there a simple one, one without a chance of interruptions and any problems for the inhabitants of the large battleship. The ride was smooth, quiet and peaceful while members of the bridge switched out over the hours to take a break from remaining seated and still for the duration of the trip. As the time came for the bridge crew to swap out, an alert popped up onto the sensors as the door to the bridge slid open, footsteps moving across the floor before keys were tapped shortly afterwards. "I'll retrieve it." Kait had been in the midst of bringing her coffee to her lips when the male voice cut into the otherwise silence on the bridge, her gaze moving to the hooded male that was standing behind one of her crew. She raised a brow at him, wondering why of all people it had been him to enter the bridge. She took a sip of her coffee before she set it down next to her, watching as the rest of the crew looked towards the male. "Retrieve what." "If you got up off your ass, you'd see that the 'what' is a life pod of sorts. I'm sure you of all people understand that signal coming from the vessel is clearly problematic should it catch the ears of anyone else in the nearby vicinity." He turned his gaze towards her, crimson narrowed and expression bored. "I fail to understand why you're such an idiot." She cringed slightly at the half mask that he wore, wondering why he would opt to even purchase something like that. She ignored his commentary, waving him off as she turned in her seat to return to her coffee. "Whatever, kid. Go terrify the occupants with that thing on your face." He raised a brow, glancing at his reflection in the window of the bridge. He let his fingers run over the sharp teeth of the mask before he shoved his hands into the pockets of his coat and moved towards the door. "You'll do best to remember who you're talking to, Nanase. My mask isn't the only thing terrifying about me, do keep that in mind." He muttered coldly from behind the mask before he stepped from the bridge and made his way through the corridors of the battleship. He turned down one of the final halls, stopping when he came to the secured doors that hid the hangar to the Seven Sins mobile suits. He pulled his hand from his pocket, pressing several of the keys on the board in front of him before a retinal scanner started up, doing a quick scan of his eyes before the doors slid open and he entered the pitch black room. As the lights came on down the strip where the suits were locked down, he stepped off to the side to open a locker that contained his flight suit. Making quick work of his clothing, he slid into the suit and zipped it up, grabbing the helmet from the top of the locker. In a matter of moments, he grabbed the zip line and moved up to the cockpit of the Leviathan. Keeping himself steady, he entered another code before another retinal scanner started up, lastly requiring vocal recognition. "Arata, 142072." He spoke out, watching as the cockpit opened and granted him access. He didn't hesitate to climb into the machine, securing the cockpit before he slid his helmet over his head. Ensuring his mask remained in place, he flipped the visor down and connected to the bridge. "Open the doors." The CIC hesitated for a moment before she noticed the look on his face. She moved her fingers across the keyboard and the catapult doors opened. "Go ahead, Leviathan." He moved the Leviathan to the catapult, launching from the ship almost immediately before he activated the phase shift, the colors spreading over the machine as it headed towards the location of the distress signal. As the machine got closer, his eyes narrowed and a sigh escaped him. He already knew what kind of life pod was emitting the signal, but he grabbed onto the vessel, albeit a little too roughly before he held it up and looked it over for any signs of damage, uncaring about the passenger within. He secured it in his grasp, looking around and scanning the area for any ships or other pods. When the scan returned with nothing, he made his way back towards the Devastation. "What's the status of the pod?" "I fail to see why you care." He looked over at Nanase, expression blank before he sighed. "It's secure. I'm opening once I leave Leviathan. I'll bring the occupants to the holding cells, of course." He moved the Leviathan into the hangar, dropping the pod in front of the Sins before he secured the unit in place and powered it down. Ensuring that the cockpit was locked down and secure, he grabbed the zipline and descended to the ground below. Handgun in hand, he pulled the helmet from his head and dropped it to the floor as he ran his fingers along the side of the door to the pod, pressing an emergency switch to open the doors. As he did, he aimed the gun at the opening and stared at the individuals inside. "Only one option available. Get your ass out here." <<-------------------------------------------------------------->> Kuro and Akumu were sitting in the lounge with some of the other crew and teammates, enjoying a few drinks as they headed back towards Troya. An unsuccessful battle bothered them, the thought that Kait had pulled them back from the battle when they were more than capable of annihilating that ZAFT team had irked them to a new level. It was stupid, thinking that she didn't trust the situation let alone the pilots to handle the enemy units and their ship. As Kuro went to open her mouth, an alarm sounded out followed by an alert that a mobile suit was returning to the ship and for personnel to stand clear. "Wait, when did anything leave the ship?" Akumu raised a brow as he stood up, setting his drink down. "Was it one of the Sins?" He looked from one to the other before he moved to the door, looking down the hall before another alert sounded, stating that everything was clear. He glanced back at the others before motioning for them to follow him, running off down the corridors to the secured hangar. Following the same procedures, the doors slid open and he glanced towards a life pod that now sat in the hangar with the Sins and their teammate who was currently holding a gun to someone who was exiting the vessel. "What the fuck, Kaneki!?" Kuro called out to him as she came to a stop next to her cousin. Her eyes moved to the person that was climbing out of the life pod before she drew the gun from her side, holding it in her hand as a precaution. Slowly, she moved closer with her teammates, unable to see the face of the person who had their back to them. Just who in the hell was it..? <<-------------------------------------------------------------->> Flay yawned as she stepped from one of the rooms located on the Devastation, tired eyes straining against the bright lights in the corridor that housed the individual rooms for the Sins and other mobile suit pilots. Scratching the back of her head, trying to flatten her messy red hair, and lightly scratching at her stomach, she moved towards the lounge to get herself something to eat. She was.. surprisingly extremely hungry, but for what she didn't know. As she drew closer to the lounge, she watched as the rest of the pilots poked their heads out. She stopped, looking at them as another alert went off about being clear and then watched as they tore off towards the Sins hangar. Curiosity getting the better of her, she followed behind them and watched as Kuro drew her gun. "Who.. is that getting out of the life pod..?" Ye-Rin had walked in behind her, carefully slipping passed her. "Hopefully it's your undoing." She whispered to the woman as she moved passed her, a smirk on her lips before she stopped with the rest of her 'Sins-mates' as she had come to start calling them. She watched Kuro, merely rolling her eyes. They didn't need weapons, they could kill the people in the life pod with ease just using their bare hands if they really wanted. She had to admit, it was sad how easily the woman tended to overreact. <<--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->> |

Deku was in the hanger when the alert went off. "Ugh what now..." Hs made his way towards the sins hanger, he stared at the pod that was in the middle of the room. Deku watched Kuro pull her gun out, "Some ones a little overly dramatic. Kaneki is fully capable of handling a stupid life pod passenger." He spoke in a mellow slightly annoyed tone. She had always been a dramatic one, which annoyed him greatly. |

Arik was in the mess hall grabbing some breakfast as well as two cups of coffee in cups with lids and straws attached. He hadn't really slept much that night, the battle with Eren had him in a bad mood but today he felt much better. While he was eating his toast the alarm went off and he overheard the Sins Hangar being mentioned. "So much for that power nap I was gonna take" he said as he grabbed the two coffees and made his way to the hangar to find a crowd emerging, a life pod had been brought aboard and Kuro was already gun drawn. Arik made his way to Flay's side as he presented her with one of the cups. "Didn't think I was gonna surprise you with this in here of all places" he managed to quip, "whats going on?" Purple eyes stared at the exit to the lifepod as the girl outweighed her options. Her head and body ached from the rough treatment she’d experienced in the life pod at the hands of that pilot. She knew better, she didn’t have a choice and she wasn’t going to fool herself into thinking that she did. Without another thought she moved from the lifepod, stepping out into the hanger. She eyed the man with the gun with coldness, wondering who these individuals were. She hooked a stray strand of pink hair behind her ear as she started to look over the faces of the others who stood there. One face in particular stood out to her, making her eyes widen. “Arik...Y-You're alive? But how…” she whispered as a small haro with a teal bow rolled out from behind her and started to bounce at her feet. |

Alex walked into the hangar sleepily, scratching his head and joining up with his team, "Good morning comrades" He said, lazily sticking up a peace sign. He wrapped an arm around Deku "Hiya buddy, what'da we got here?" He looked over at the life pod and the girl poking out from it? "A stray? Can we keep it? I promise I'll walk and feed it.."He pointed at his spiky haired compadre "...But you gotta potty train it." |

Kuro's eyes lit up before her gaze met her cousin's and moved to Deku. The moment they'd discussed not too recently unfolding before their very eyes. A smirk crossed her lips as she recognized the woman, and anyone who failed to realize who she was.. well, they were just plain stupid. She loosened up slightly, moving forward as she propped the arm with the gun onto Arik's shoulder, motioning towards the pink haired woman that had exited the life pod. "Looks like we've got an unexpected guest. Tsk, tsk, Yamato. Looks like the moment of truth has come at last~" Akumu stepped up next to them, his gaze moving from the woman to Arik. He could see the way his face twisted, how so many things were racing through his mind and he followed his gaze, letting it fall upon Kaneki who hadn't moved, gun still aimed at the youngest Yamato before he sighed, stuffing his hands into the pockets of his black jacket. He had to wonder; would this young woman being Arik's complete undoing? Would she be the one to prove that he wasn't meant to be here, to be one of the Sins pilots, and would she be the one to give them the satisfaction of killing yet another candidate for the Seven Sins project? He shifted slightly. "Kaneki, you know who she is?" He glanced towards them quickly, noting the expressions on their faces before he turned back to the woman. He kept the gun on her, eyes locked on her face as she stepped from the pod. He recognized her almost instantly, mostly because he'd seen several ZAFT broadcasts of the 'Songstress of ZAFT'. "Alice Yamato. Youngest child to Kira Yamato and his wife, Lacus Clyne. I know exactly who you are, and I know who you are to him." He glanced at Arik from the corner of his eye, knowing it was only a matter of moments. "Step up, I'll put you down." He warned him, the only warning he would ever give his teammate. Kuro fought the grin that was threatening to cross her features. She glanced towards her cousin, their gaze meeting for a moment before she watched him step to the side if only slightly. "I wonder, do you think he's serious? Would he really shoot his own teammate?" She had leaned close to Arik, whispering the question to him. "Hard to tell." Akumu responded, watching Alice's face as she looked them over. "I guess i-" Kuro was quick to lightly nudge Arik forward, if only by a mere inch before she grabbed him to stop him from advancing further. A shot rang out clear as day, Kaneki having fired off a single shot towards the ground just in front of Arik and the others. She clapped her hands together before she placed them behind her back, leaning forward to look up at Arik. "I guess he was pretty serious. Sorry, Yamato. I had to be sure." She offered an innocent smile, as if she had done nothing only moments ago. "Well shit." Ye-Rin shifted in her spot, looking towards the now marked up floor of the hangar. "Kait's gonna be pissed that you marked up the floor, damn." Her eyes moved to Alice. "What're the chances that of all the life pods we could come across, she'd be the sole inhabitant? I mean.. that's some pretty good leverage against the PLANTs, don't you think?" She looked over her teammates, tilting her head slightly. "Can you imagine what Daddy Kira would say when he finds out we got our hands on his little princess?" Flay looked from Arik to everyone else. "Is that what you're going to do with her? Hold her captive, use her against the PLANTs to get what you want?" She questioned them, earning Ye-Rin's gaze. The two of them stared at each other before she spoke up again. "Kira and Lacus are going to be pissed no matter which way you look at it, and I'm sure that the rest of her family won't be too pleased. Alaric, for one, won't hesitate to come for her, and if he comes, so does the rest of his ZAFT team along with him. Let's also not forget their cousin and her team, should it come down to that. Do you really want to piss off an entire nation by taking one woman hostage?" "Would you prefer if I handled it like they handled Cagalli Yula Athha and her son? I'm easy to please; life or death, either works for me." She shrugged. "You fail to understand that I'm being fairly reasonable here. If I wanted to, I could treat her like she were a POW, a hostage as you call it. I could mistreat her, be highly cruel and beat her up some, and dangle her like a worm on a hook for daddy dearest to come flying in with his white mobile suit to save the day, buuuut here we are." She pulled her hands from her pockets, motioning towards the woman. "I've got quite the little idea. I'll have you send the message to daddy dearest. I'm sure he'd love to hear it from you, don't you think?" |

Deku watched as the pink haired young lady stepped out of the pod. He then glanced at his 'teammate', Arik, "Tsk." Stuff like this really pissed him off, hostages are unnecessary and cowardly. "You guys are having way too much with this situation. I'm all for battling the weaklings in Zaft, but I'd much rather do it my way. And you, spare! Don't you dare go thinking that just because she's here gives you special privileges. If you're really part of this team, you'll stay the hell away from her. Let the real soldiers deal with the situation. We don't need your weak ideals getting in the way of our goals." Deku looked towards Kaneki " I didn't know that they allowed fruitless fishes in space," he spoke with a smirk appearing on his face. |

As the pod was opened and the occupant revealed Arik's eyes widened, the grip on the cups lost. "Alice..." he said as he stared at her, one half of him happy to see her alive and well, the other half cursing this moment, not now, not this. His heart raced and his mind was scrambled as he listened to everything going. He was even taken by surprise as he pushed forward and nearly shot at, everyone seemed to be either deciding what to do with Alice or judging and questioning him. They didn't even ask for his opinion, all it seemed to be was 'Don't go near her', 'shoot you with you do'. They didn't trust him, was he even going to be allowed a chance. But then Deku spoke and called Arik a 'spare' with 'weak ideals' and how he wasn't a real soldier. Something inside Arik finally snapped, he'd kept calm, he'd gone through so much in the past year, now he'd finally had... "ENOUGH!" He bellowed as he looked at them all, a expression so serious and angry it was not like him in the slightest as he slowly moved forward pointing at Alice and looking around the hangar. He didn't care if they were gonna give him crap later, his voice would be heard. "Alice Yamato isn't just a singer for PLANT and ZAFT. Her fan base extends to Earth, I know for a fact there are those in the ORB and several other countries who adore her. No doubt the Junk Guild and Mercenary Guilds have fans too. If we kill her we will become a prime target for more then just ZAFT, if they knew the location the Life Pod was jettisoned from they could track it down to here. And right now all Alice knows is our faces, she doesn't know our exact location or where this place is. That gives us an advantage, we've seen already how capable our enemy can be. But she cannot be used as a bargaining chip either, Alice is also a soldier, a Gundam Pilot like her brother Alaric, her loyalty to ZAFT will have her tell her parents not to give away anything to us and if we then killed her it would still result in us being attacked" He looked around and then back at Alice, a small glint in his eyes almost showed sorrow. "I know many of you question me, you question if I am truly worthy of being here, I've heard the whispers, the gossip, you keep thinking I'll betray you all. Arik Yamato is dead, and before is one of the tiny few who probably actually gave a damn. If I must show my dedication then place her under my watch, I'll make sure she doesn't escape and will keep a constant eye on her until a decision is ultimately made. And if you do not trust me then I also suggest letting Flay Alster watch over me. She is loyal to this cause and if she so much as questions my loyalty to you all and believes I will help Alice escape she has my blessing to kill me right there and then. But if you still don't trust me then kill me now, but make sure its a killing blow" He then looked over at Deku, his eyes now turning to a look of murder. "Because if I'm question and called a spare again, I swear, I'll rip you to pieces" |

Alex, still hanging on Deku's shoulder, mimicked his faces when he was speaking to Arik and making aggressive hand movements and gestures as his comrade spoke. "Let's just stuff Arik in there with the girl and send them both off... It's way better than dealing with ZAFT's higher ups...We don't have the firepower to deal with all that." He smirked playfully, "He's been nothin' but trouble since he got here anyway." |

The girl was quiet as she listened to them, the way they spoke about her, what to do with her. She wondered their plans for her until he spoke. He talked her up in such a way to make her sound so important but unimportant to him. Was he just trying to save her life? She hadn't heard them mention their plans to kill her so what made him so sure they were going to. Something came over her as she started to laugh, unable to process what was happening before her. She wondered if she'd truly snapped for the first time. "This is unreal..." Her eyes fell on her brother as her laughter faded, her purple eyes holding a darkness in them that hadn't been seen before. "You want to watch over me? You, seriously? What makes you think you have the right? Arik Yamato, 'the hero that died'. Sorry, I suppose the proper title would be 'the coward who faked his death'. Such a selfish, spoiled, arrogant child. The things you put our family through while you were alive and while playing solider here the entire time with people more dangerous than yourself." Her eyes moved over the faces of the others, "I know I'm a prisoner now and I won't pretend that I don't know what that means. But if you leave me alone with this pathetic traitor, I'll kill him myself." |

Arik's sudden outburst had honestly surprised Flay, making the woman let out a small sound and step back. Her pale blue eyes moved from her male companion to the woman in front of them, and almost instantly she felt her arms wrap around herself. She knew the woman, she knew almost everything there was to know about the Yamato family. She winced at the tone of Arik's voice, listening to every word that he spoke before she lightly reached out to touch his arm, looking at him. "Arik, this isn't our jurisdiction." She spoke softly to him, watching his face. "I understand that she's your sister, but you cannot be the one to watch over her while she's here, just as I cannot be the one either. It's a conflict of interest, and.. I won't put myself in that position, nor will I let you." Her expression changed almost instantly as Alice spoke, her gaze moving to the pink haired woman and almost cringing at the words, words she never expected to hear from her. A whistle echoed through the hangar as Alice spoke, and a slow clapping followed. "Well said, Miss Yamato. Well said, indeed." Kuro stuffed her hands into her pockets, rocking on her heels as she looked at Arik. "I offered you an alternate route, and when you took it.. I won't even lie, I was expecting your family to feel something, I was hoping for it. I knew your mother would feel something, because the loss of family is something she understands more than you'll ever come to know." She continued to rock on her heels. "But I expected you to feel something, too. I longed for the pain I knew you would endure, that would break you to the very core of your being and shatter you into pieces. I eagerly awaited to dance upon those pieces, kicking them all over the place like so many before you." "You talk about how Arik Yamato is 'dead'. If that statement were true, you'd no longer use the name. You'd have disposed of it as you did your former self. The problem is that you cling to a name, to a person that you claim you no longer want to be, that you no longer are. If you want us to believe you, to trust you or have any sort of semblance to that ideal, you should rethink everything. You want to raise your voice, you want to be heard. Give us a reason to listen, because right now, I'll tell you what I hear. Hell, I'll tell you what I see." Akumu stepped forward, looking down at Arik with an expression of complete disinterest, as if he were looking down at nothing. "I see a child, someone who thinks that he's a man, someone who thinks that he's ready to take on the world alone because some kind of god granted him a brand new machine, an alternate route to an alternate future." His gaze locked with Arik's, his hands stuffed into his pockets as he remained unmoving. "I hear whining, a child demanding attention from those around him. I hear faltering words, ones that fade as soon as they're spoken. You can scream and shout all you want, but you've got a lot of learning to do before you can stand before me and tell me what's what, kid." He let his gaze moved to Alice, watching her for a moment. "Take a look at her, Arik. What do you see?" His gaze was back on him. "I see a woman, one that happened to fall into our laps by some unforeseen circumstances. I see a woman that's now our prisoner to do with as we please, to an extent mind you. We aren't fucking savages." "She's not your sister anymore, kid. She's another victim to war, another piece to the puzzle we're putting together, another pawn on the board. If she wants to tell her pretty little parents that she's not into being rescued, that's her decision but that doesn't mean they won't come running anyways. Hell, it doesn't mean that anyone won't come running to save Princess Pink and her soccer ball from the clutches of the dragon." Kuro turned her head to look at them. "In the end, it's a make or break situation. I could end it all now and watch you break. One shot, to the head." She pointed to the middle of her forehead with a smirk. "No more princess, and the satisfaction that you're still Arik Yamato by the end of it all." "Tell me, Arik. Where is your god now?" "Let's go." Kaneki stepped forward, grabbing onto Alice's arm and folding it behind her back, placing the gun against her lower back. He moved her around his teammates, no longer interested in their conversation when he heard the doors slide open and footsteps enter the hangar. "Fuck." He grumbled, looking towards the female who was practically storming towards them before he released Alice, stepping back with the gun still pointed at her. "Your timing is ever so impeccable, Nanase." "Shut up. I'm taking her into custody." Her eyes moved over the woman. "Alice Yamato, you're a bloody hazard to my goddamn ship." She grumbled before she motioned for her to move towards the door. "She'll remain with me at all times. Under no circumstances are any of you allowed near her. Anywhere she goes, you do not follow. If she's on the bridge, guess what? You're not there. She's in the lounge, you'll take your food somewhere else. If I catch any of you trying to talk to her, so fucking help me." |

Deku listened to Arik, his words nothing but an empty threat. Grin on his face he stared at him and when the pink haired girl spoke up he couldn't help but laugh hysterically at the situation. " Now you see that Mr. Useless Yamato, she's got more balls then you ever will! Heck I bet she's an ever better pilot." He glanced over at Alice," What do you say sweetheart, wanna replace him and join us?" Deku laughed again then closed the gap between Arik and himself, not caring about Akumo's presence. "You wanna know something you sad excuse for a solider, I'd tare you apart before you even got the chance. Unlike you, I am the holder of two sins, one that we unfortunately share. But i'll tell you what, my pride beats yours and my wrath, oh let me tell you about my wrath. I'll fucking grind you up into pieces and add you to my fucking soup you worthless piece of Trash! And when i'm done I'll do the same to your precious shield." His voice was cold and filled with malaise. "Remember this, you're nothing but a pebble in my path and I'm not afraid to rip you apart piece by piece. So watch yourself the next time you try to threaten me imbecile. Tsk." Once he finished speaking, Deku walked away from the group. He glanced over at Nanase, followed by Alice. A small smirk appearing on his face then vanishing shortly after, he left the hanger and made his way down the hallway. |

As the events unfolded Strike had left Arik's room and made his way to the hangars where he saw things unfold. "Alice?" he said almost confused. Arik listened as everyone spoke and said nothing, Alice's reaction was a surprise, her that was once so timid now was ferocious, did they really call him a hero when he died? Would the family now hate him for what he had done? Everyone spoke their pieces, each was a reaction expected, he said nothing, he let them talk then Alice was escorted away. He didn't make a move, he just lowered his head, he knew Flay would still be there and waited for Alice and Deku to be out of sight. Slowly a smile crept upon his face as he slowly looked up and laughed a little bit under his breath, he then turned his head and looked at Mephistopholes. "Flay" he said, "Alice's words are what I needed to hear. I clung to the Yamato name like some badge of honour. They called me a hero when I died when I never even asked for it. Now I know I am truly ready" He turned and looked at her, a hand gently touched her cheek. "I am still me, but as of today I wish to no longer be a Yamato. Would you still feel the same way for me if I changed my name?" Edited by Arik Yamato, Monday Jul 10 2017, 06:16 AM.

Alex shook his head after hearing everything, letting himself go of Deku "Jeeze, the air in here is a little too tense for my taste..." watching Nanase leave with Alice "I told them to throw her back! It'd save us a lotta trouble but naaaahhhh." He shugged and chuckkled, he patting Deku on the head before he left and floating over to Ye-Rin, sticking his hand into her jacket pocket to touch her hand "Hola~" He said with a smile, then looked over at Kenki "You are too quick to pull that gun, bud, no wonder the Cap'n doesn't let you handle hostage. We gotta be more careful....Personally, I don't want another Yula-Autha incident."

As Alice was pulled away by the woman whom she presumed was their captain, she didn't fight it, didn't put up a struggle and went along willingly. She was well aware that she was a hostage, a prisoner to this group of individuals. She wondered about who they were, and as she thought more about it, she wondered if this was the group that everyone on the PLANTs had been talking about. "A group of individuals who attack helpless ships and leave them for dead in the middle of space after raiding them.. this must be them.." Her gaze moved to the woman and she took in her displeased expression, the anger on her face ever present as they walked down one of the corridors of the rather large ship. She thought back to the people in the hangar, having noticed that all of them seemed.. iffy with each other, and the thought of her 'brother' just made things worse for her. The emotions towards the situation were mixed, and when she dwelled on it, she remembered a face she'd seen if for a short moment. The red haired woman with blue eyes, someone she recognized almost immediately. Oh, she knew who she was, and she knew the history behind the woman, too. "Eren.. will you come to save me from these people..?" |

Kuro feigned a hurt look, pressing her hand to her chest. "You wound me, m'dear." She gasped, keeping up the facade. "I'm the least likely to harm our guest. I'd very much like to get to know her." As she spoke the last words, she chuckled and waved the woman off, turning her back to the two of them as they left the hangar before she glanced down at Strike. "I've never been a fan of those damn robotics you kids build." She muttered, tapping it with her foot to send it moving towards both Arik and Flay, watching them for a moment before she turned to look at the rest of them. "Well, Kait sure knows how to take the fun out of a situation." Akumu ran a hand through his hair before scratching the back of his head. "Between Ye-Rin and yourself, the situation was going south faster than we'd like to admit, and with no-name over there," He glanced towards Arik whom he had stepped away from when Deku had stepped towards them. He didn't exactly feel like crossing paths with his teammate, at least not at the current moment in time. He shifted slightly, stuffing his hands back into his pockets. "the entire situation was shit from the beginning. I mean, it says something when your own flesh and blood calls you a traitor then threatens to kill you. Who knew?" He shrugged. "Besides, Deku's not wrong. She'd make one fine addition to the team." He chuckled before he felt an elbow in his side. "The fuck." Onyx eyes glared at him. "Stop thinking with your dick. She's our prisoner, not some piece of ass." She grumbled. "And I don't care if she's an idol back on the PLANTs. She could be an idol back home and that wouldn't change a thing." She folded her arms over her chest, sighing. "Let's be realistic about the situation. ZAFT is going to come looking for her, and when they do, we'll have another fight on our hands. I'll guarantee that they're not just going to accept the fact that Kaneki valiantly went out and saved her from floating through space until someone else picked her sorry ass up. They're going to assume we took her in, planned to use her against them, aaaand try to blow our asses up." Ye-Rin offered Alex a small smile, placing a gentle kiss to his cheek. "Hola." She replied before she looked at Kuro and Akumu. "If they're going to assume what we're doing, we might as well live up to it. I mean, what good is a prisoner if you're not going to use her? Let Allster over there send the message, tell the PLANTs that we've got their precious princess all wrapped up and ready to go. They're going to find us regardless, might as well have a little fun with the princess while we've got the chance." She snickered, linking her fingers with Alex's as she shifted slightly. "It'd be about time someone was useful around here." "I didn't see any of you stepping up to rescue her." Kaneki interjected, looking over the gun before placing it into its holster, gaze moving to his teammates. "Then again, none of you even knew she was out there until after I'd returned, am I correct? How long do you think that distress signal was going for? A few minutes? A couple hours? ZAFT will pinpoint the last known location of her life pod, which will have them scouring the area to find her." "So, we leave the area then. Logically, we're not that far from Troya so we might have enough time to get the hell outta here before they show up, right?" Kuro tapped her jaw. "Unless.." "They send that ZAFT ship we went up against. It's the closest to our location, and given what ship that was, I'm sure we don't have enough time to evacuate the area before it shows up to find her. At most, we can reactivate the signal in the life pod and shove it back out into space to distract them, but the chances of that succeeding are slim. I know people are daft, but that's a level of stupid I don't think I'd wanna stoop to." Akumu frowned. "Either way, it's worth a shot." He moved towards the pod and poked his head inside before climbing in completely. "Should be easy enough." He moved to poke his had out. "Hey Arik, wanna take your girlfriend and go back home to mommy and daddy?" He chuckled before he pressed a few buttons, a message popping onto the screen. Kaneki sighed. "This is stupid." He muttered before he moved towards the Leviathan, climbing into the cockpit and moving the unit to grab the pod. He waited a moment before he set it onto the catapult, frowning. "This whole entire idea is as stupid as the rest of you. This is going to backfire, and when it does, that's on you idiots. Not me, not Leviathan, you." "Yeah, yeah. Save it for later, would you?" Akumu muttered as he activated the signal and climbed out of the pod, moving back towards his cousin. "Go for it, kid!" With one swift movement and a green light, the pod was shot off into space at a quicker rate than expected and the Leviathan was returned to its position, locked down and secure. Kaneki climbed down before he looked towards them. "This isn't the Earth Alliance. They won't be easily fooled but such a tactic, but I'll let you be the one to explain the idea to the others." He grumbled before taking his leave from the hangar to return to his room. He'd honestly had enough of socializing and hostages for one day. "You're the one who shot it into space, remember that!" Ye-Rin glanced towards Flay and Arik before she took her leave with Alex, Akumu and Kuro. "I think a nap is long overdue. That battle was exhausting to watch, especially considering y'all had to come back so soon." She yawned, placing a hand over her mouth as she did. She glanced towards Alex with a smile. "I expect you'll be joining me?" Kuro and Akumu rolled their eyes. "It was.. what it was. G'night guys." The two of them threw a wave over their shoulder as they retreated towards their own rooms down the opposite corridor. <<----------------------------------------------------------------------------->> Flay smiled softly up at him. "It's your choice to make, Arik. If you no longer wish to involve yourself with your family, to cut your ties to the Yamato and Clyne name, then that is your decision but it is also yours to bear. You'll have to carry that with you for the rest of your life, knowing that the people who cared about you are no longer involved with you, with your life. It's a hard decision to make, but if that is the road you wish to travel down, you know that I'll be right by your side despite the hardships. It won't be easy, and it's going to challenge you every step of the way, so be prepared for what lies ahead." She lightly touched his hand, her smile never fading. "But know that we'll always be with you no matter where you go." |

Deku made his way into his room, quickly jumping into the shower. He wondered how long it would be before that Zaft ship and it's team showed up to retrieve the young pink haired princess. Deku had heard about the young woman while being stationed on the ship. He didn't mind a few of the songs he heard, but otherwise she was new to him. He wondered how easily she'd break if she had been the one to join them instead of that weak loser who was actually chosen. Deku smirked as he washed his hair, it's a shame she wasn't one of them. He would've enjoyed breaking her. After a few moments of blank thoughts it hit him. "I wonder if she has some kind of hero back home and how would they react to her disappearance." Excitement filled his mind, something like that would bring more battle and he's always itching for a battle. Most of all, he hoped to fight that Zaft team that stopped their last raid. They were truly interesting pilots and he couldn't wait to break them apart. |

Strike rolled in front of Arik and Flay after being kicked. "Alice here?" he said still confused. Arik listened to everyone still in the hangar, clearly they were making plans for Alice, a hostage situation, chance to fight more. He personally did not care, if they wanted to cause trouble they could go ahead, he was fighting to protect only one person now, he had his reasons for leaving his old life behind, though he hadn't fully talked about them. The gentle touch of Flay always calmed him and made him smile, everything seem so in place now. He smile as he took her hands. "My name is...........wait" Arik looked at Flay a lil confused. "You said We, yes, as in you and Strike?" Edited by Arik Yamato, Wednesday Jul 12 2017, 07:12 AM.

Alex smiled and lifted Ye-Rin up and into his arms, "I'd be a fool to not join you~....Besides I'm pretty tired myself." He said as he laid her down and laid next to her, wrapping his arms around her waist, running his fingers through her soft orange hair. "You think that life pod's gonna buy us some time, darlin?" He asked as he moved his arm away from her waist to rub her back. He looked up at her, a certain seriousness in his that seemed foreign to even him"If we go out on a mission, You should come out with us this time. We'll need your strength." |

"I'll think about it." She merely muttered, snuggling into him and placing her head under his chin. Her hand moved to press against his chest, feeling his heart beat against it as she let her eyes slide shut. "I only like going out when I find it appetizing to do so, and so far, the battles have been pretty unsatisfying." She let out a sigh, keeping close to him. If this plan backfired like everyone was pretty sure it was going to because Sins forbid they actually have something work out in their favor, ZAFT was going to come for their princess and when they did, there was going to be a battle. "Alex, you.. know where having this woman is going to lead us.. right? She's bound to have a knight in shining armor out there, and he's going to come riding in on his noble mobile suit to get her back. That's how it always works when the bad guy kidnaps the girl. Her knight comes along to save the day and take her home, then they get married and it's a happily ever after." She let her eyes open as she stared at the fabric of his shirt, running her fingers absentmindedly over it. "Akumu is trying to give us a fighting chance, to buy us a little time to get back to Troya within the next hour or so.. but Troya, if my calculations are correct, is almost two and a half hours from here. That ship we fought will have caught us by then." She frowned. "What do you honestly think the chances of us winning against those bastards is gonna be? I'm thinking at least one of us is going to die while they try to rescue their pretty little pink-haired princess." <<----------------------------------------------------------------------------->> She chuckled softly, lightly placing his hand over his stomach. "Strike will be there, but so will they." She spoke softly as she looked down at her stomach for a moment before looking back up at him. "I was going to tell you later, but I guess now is as good as it'll ever be. Just know that whatever the future brings, they'll be a part of it too. You may want to give up everything, but there's going to be a day when they start to ask questions and you'll have to make a decision on whether you want to tell them the truth or not." She leaned up to lightly place a kiss to his cheek before she dropped his hands and bent down to pick Strike up. "You, our little robotic friend, need to learn a time and place to interfere with things. You should not be wandering in here when Kait comes storming through those doors because next time, those people we work with might not be so nice as to give you a little nudge with their foot." She chuckled as she wandered off towards the doors to take her leave, humming softly to the bulky robot in her hands only to stop and glance back at Arik. "Earth to the nameless one. I'm a little hungry over here. Do you think you could kindly pick up the pace so I can grab something to eat?" |

As she placed his hand on her stomach Arik's eyes widened as he looked down at his hand, words were lost to him. As Strike was picked up the little guy look at flay. "Duly Noted, good advice" he said, "also congratulations" Arik stood still but then as Flay called him he looked at her as a huge smile came over his face and he began to laugh as moved so fast over to and placed his arm round Flay's shoulder and kissed her cheek. "I'm gonna be a father" he said so happily, "lets get you some food, if need be I'll cook it myself" "Nameless One happy" said Strike, Arik smiled as he looked down at his robot friend. "No bud, not Nameless, my family and friends maybe complicated but right here and now I know I can't change who I am" explained Arik. "You, still Arik?" asked Strike. "Always" said Arik, "Arik Yamato, Pilot....and Parent" He smiled again as he moved with Flay to the cafeteria. "This is the happiest moment of my life" |

"I know... I thought the same thing about her..." Alex grumbled sleepily, holding Ye'Rin a little tighter. "I wasn't kidding when I suggested stuffing them back in that pod and sending them off," He continued to rub her back "it'd save us a hell of a lot of trouble." He laid there running his hands up and down her back in silence, eyes closed and breathing softly, "What if....We bought the Devastation some time....? We can sortie, and stay around the vicinity of the pod.... if anyone comes out to inspect it, we can ambush them. ... I don't know the odds of us coming out in one piece are, but... I'll be your knight, and protect you, even sacrifice myself for you if it has to come down to it. I just can't sit here and feel helpless...even if its against orders we should do something.." |

Ye-Rin stayed silent for a moment before she sighed, sitting up and bringing a knee to her chest. "We don't follow orders, we're just a bunch of sins that came together to take on the world." She muttered before she stared at the floor in the darkened room, thinking it over. "Alex, you realize what you're saying, don't you? If we take the Belphegor and the Beezlebub out there, we're still two and a half hours from Troya. There's no guarantee we're going to make it back to the station intact, let alone at all. It's basically a suicide mission, and I don't see the others being up to the idea. They'd never let us leave the Devastation, even if we wanted to." She frowned as she brought her other knee up to her chest, wrapping her arms around her knees. "Fuck, I can't believe how one woman has completely fucked an entire ship." She grumbled. "As if one Yamato wasn't bad enough, now we're stuck with two of them." <<------------------------------------------->> "I don't need you to cook me food, Arik. I'm quite capable of getting my own food, and our chef does a wonderful job at cooking the best meals I've ever had the pleasure of enjoying." She smiled softly as she walked with him down the corridor. "Don't.. go telling everyone on board about this. I'm still going to be a pilot, whether anyone likes it or not. I have a job to do and I'm not going to let some unborn child stop me from doing it." She stopped before entering the lounge. "I mean it, Arik. Keep this to yourself, or I'll beat your ass into the floor. The same goes for you, Strike. I'm well aware of how to take you apart so don't give me a reason to." She warned them before smiling innocently and entering the lounge, ordering something to eat before taking her seat with her food. |

"She serious?" asked Strike looking back at Arik as he followed Flay to get some food. "Short Answer: Yes, Long Answer: we keep our mouths shut" said Arik as he ordered his food and joined Flay. "You can feel the uneasiness" he said, "Alice's Arrival couldn't have come at a worse time. ZAFT aren't idiots, if they have the coordinates of where the pod was jettisoned or which ship they can track us easily" He took a few bites before talking again after swallowing the food. "Worse part is" he said quietly, "some of the less stable on the ship will look for someone to blame if things go bad. And I'm a perfect target" |

Alex stayed quiet for a minute before letting out a "tch." and sitting up on bed, leaning onto Ye-Rin. "Honestly, I'm not one to sit around in a helpless situation, if something can be don....If I can buy us even a sliver of time to get us to Troya and get DSSD support, I'm gonna do it.....Even if I have to alone, I'm not gonna let this girl be our downfall." He ran his hand through his hair sighing, "But if it's not a good idea...what should we do then? " |
