Here is a combat guide the staff here have put together, this ensures that battles conducted here are organized, understandable and still fun regardless. First off, be careful of how much ammo you use during a single post. In order to help make sure every bullet and every percent of your machines power gauge is wisely used, weapons will be sorted into categories: CIWS, Light, Medium, Heavy, and Capital. Each Category also has a specific firing limit per post. CIWS / Vulcan’s: CIWS and Vulcan type weapons are meant for Pinpoint defense and anti-infantry roles. They can also be used against Light Armored Vehicles(LAV). While these weapons do have an ammo count, they do not drain your power plant and they have no limit. Just mention the fire if you do use them. CIWS and Vulcan's can take out up to 6 light missiles or 3 heavy missiles per post. Light: Light weapons are things like simple machine guns and low powered beam weapons, they have the power to do fair amounts of damage and barely place any strain on your power plant. The limit for this category is 3 shots standard or 5 shots suppressive, per post. Medium: Medium weapons are a step up from light weapons, the can generally do the same thing but have more strength behind their shots and drain your power plant a smudge more. Medium weapons have a 2 shot standard or a 3 shot suppressive limit per post. Heavy: Heavy weapons are some of the most powerful in the RPG, most are meant for dealing with heavy armor or taking out large amounts of enemies in a few shots. Weapons such as bazooka's, cannons, and Sniper Rifles are considered heavy and, if they are beam based weapons, WILL take a pretty hefty chunk of power from your power plant. One shot per post with any heavy weapon. Capital: Capital class weaponry is of the more rare but most destructive types, these weapons are meant for taking out battleships and large fortifications such as bunkers and bases. Many Super Weapons like Fortress Barge and the Libra's main Cannon are considered capital class weapons as well and require much power in order to fire, sometimes are charging sequence may also be needed. One Shot per every 3 - 5 posts depending on size and type. |
