![]() Full name: Ellith Norgol Known aliases: Lonestar Race: Beast Sex: female Age: 24 Height: 143 Rp. (4'8") [135 Rp. according to game scale] Weight: 44 Kv. (97 lbs.) [40 Kv. according to game scale] Build: athletic Skin: medium dark Hair: light blonde Eyes: gold Relations: family deceased or missing Affiliations: GUARDIANS, rogue factions Profession: Guardian, bar owner, informant, trader Physical appearance: Ellith looks to be about 13 or 14 years old by Human and Newman standards, and all but the most versed in Beast physiology would easily mistake her for a child if they don't know who she is. Other Beasts might likely recognize her as a young adult in her early 20s. Obviously, she's very small; though she looks rather strong for someone her size. The Adaka Val, or "Blast Badge of Power," is inked into the skin along the length of her right arm. Due to her poor vision, Ellith often wears glasses, especially when using ranged weapons—or she shoots things she's not aiming for. Demeanor: Friendly, loud when she wants to be, confident at all times, even to a fault, and rather quick to anger—these are the initial impressions she gives most people. Ellith is, however, known for her idealism and is notoriously good-natured. Combat proficiencies: Ellith is physically strong and a capable hand-to-hand fighter. Versed in both heavy and light close-quarters weaponry, she shows particular favour for axes, swords, sabers, and claws. She has also been known to carry and make use of various firearms including longbows, crossbows, and handguns. Like most Beasts, she is capable of Nanoblasting. Ellith is not known to have demonstrated an aptitude for TECHNIC usage. Known history: With no memory of parents or any other family, Ellith was raised in an orphanage in Dagora City, but like a lot of her peers, she frequently found herself in a lot of trouble. By her early teens, she was getting herself mixed up with the local gangs, and with her uncanny strength and unswerving determination on her side, she rose to a seat of moderate power, at least as far as the life of a street thug allows. Petty crimes and turf wars were the norm, but unsatisfied with the squabbles in the city's dusty streets, Ellith set out for the desert with her posse, seeking adventure in a rogue's life. They got their start small, a band of brigands and highway robbers, stealing from travelers passing through the wilderness areas surrounding Dagora. It wasn't long before roughing up the various offworlders and natives that came too close to their makeshift base of operations netted them enough money to expand, supplying them with more up-to-date weaponry, facilitating larger conquests and bolder raids, and eventually, after a few years of work, their own ship. The Myau was Ellith's most prized possession, and Ellith was her captain. However, it wasn't more than two hours into the pirate ship's maiden voyage that it drew the attention of more established rogues. After a short battle with the Landeel and a pathetic attempt at defense, the Myau was disabled, and a furious Ellith Norgol was treated to a lecture on the finer points of proper pirating by Alfort Tylor over her ship's communication system. He was aware of how she and her crew had operated in the past, and he made it clear to her that if she ever used her newly acquired resources to kill innocent people or steal from the poor, she would have to answer for it. This was the first of three separate occasions when the crew of the Myau would come to battle the likes of Tylor and his rogues. The second and third of which, the Landeel arrived in time to prevent Ellith's pirates from raiding a scientific expedition and then a civilian supply cruiser. Her ship damaged beyond use and her pride irreparably decimated, Ellith was forced to admit defeat and agreed to meet with Tylor in person to surrender and accept his terms. Accepting the loss of everything she had "rightfully" stolen, Ellith had resigned herself to the end of her career; however, when Tylor offered her a chance at redemption, training, and help in rebuilding her ship, her view of the world was shattered. She experienced honour for the first time, and she saw for herself what compassion was like—that it could be applied to anyone, including someone as undeserving as herself. Over the months that followed, Ellith grew to become a different kind of person and a different kind of pirate, robbing the rich, protecting the poor, and making a profit without destroying lives. As the course of the Myau and her crew carried them away from the safety and support of Tylor and his gang, her captain began to carve out a new reputation of her own—a reputation that put her at odds with many of the other rogue bands operating on and around Moatoob. Upholding the ideals of honour and righteousness instilled in her, she was forced to fly by her own star, and in the several years that followed, the young Ellith "Lonestar" Norgol lived a truly fulfilling life. However, as all good things have a way of moving toward abrupt ends, the voyage of the Myau was not to last. Details concerning the loss of her ship, the current whereabouts (or ultimate fate) of her crew, and other circumstances surrounding her arrival at the GUARDIANS sometime between the arrival of the SEED and the Unification Point are unknown, and Ellith has not be particularly forthcoming regarding this matter thus far. Recent activity: Ellith is a veteran of what remains of the understaffed GUARDIANS and has volunteered her services extensively. She has actively participated in the training of several new Guardians and regularly participates in both hired missions and sanctioned GUARDIANS operations. She currently resides on Moatoob, in Dagora City, where she is the owner and sole operator of a bar and restaurant named Elly's, close in proximity and reputation to Gawik's Pub down the street; however, her place serves a menu of food in addition to the obligatory alcoholic beverages. While often a stopping point for GUARDIANS visiting the desert planet, it is believed that the proprietor more commonly caters to those of the roguish persuasion, especially following the recent and devastating SEED invasion orchestrated by the Illuminus. As well as serving the public with food and alcohol, Ellith herself has a reputation as a trader of both information and martial supplies, maintaining only thinly-veiled ties to several rogue factions, most notably the New Rogues. Her bar has become a popular hangout for the more well-intentioned of Moatoob's inhabitants and visitors, often providing a neutral and friendly meeting place for deals between Guardians and rogues. Confirmed associations: Ellith has many associates she meets with on a regular basis. Most are likely patrons of her establishment. She has, however, frequently been seen working with a disproportionate number of CASTs, and her bar has experienced an increasing number of robotically-inclined customers as of late. In particular, she is known to maintain close proximity both in and out of her bar to Valtea, a Guardian, as well as, though less often, Valtea's sister Kurenai and a former member of the AMF named Kaleigh. The murderous rogue known as Freedom 01 has been spotted entering Ellith's bar, and her relationship to the wanted criminal and his faction, The Hand of Dawn, has been a topic of concern among certain parties recently. _________________________________________________________________ OOC notes: All of the above is fair game, within reason. Information regarding her background is open to any Guardian with access to records or anyone who knows a little bit about rogue life on Moatoob. Ellith herself might be well-known enough around Dagora, especially given the recent population drop, for her to be recognizable on sight to people she doesn't know yet who frequent the area, and her bar is hard to miss. (If you're looking for it and don't have my card, my character's name is "Ellith Norgol," and my shop ad is "Elly's.") As a purveyor of information, Ellith keeps her ear to the ground, so to speak. If your character is involved in something huge around the system, she might've heard about it. If you're involved in something pretty big on or around Moatoob, there's a good chance rumours have gotten to her bar. If you're doing something in Dagora, period, well, you get the picture. As such, if you're interested in running any kind of RP event where Ellith might be able to act as a mediator or something of the sort, feel free to contact me. Little updates as new information comes to light: affiliations and professions confirmed, recent activity and confirmed associations clarified, and an OOC section added to the bottom. |
