Most of those in this game already know it's starting again, but to make sure, I'm gonna spell out everything here.

The game will start Saturday, January 10, and will run every Saturday from 16:00 EST to 19:00 EST (I am going to be -quite- strict about this time limit for now).

Exception to this: If I say so. Because of my rather busy schedule now, I cannot -absolutely- guarentee every saturday. It will work out like this: the game is only cancelled if I say it is. I'm afraid I cannot give any idea past that.

Now, restrictions to the game itself:

Playable races, and classes, must come from the Players Handbook. The -one- exception to this is that I allow variants of those classes.

Feats, skills, and weapon/armor selection may come from almost any source except those I designate unavailable.

Here is the list of books you may not use at all (will be updated as I think of them):
Tome of Battle

Currency:

All players start with 50 -silver.- This is important to note, because the main currency of this game is going to be silver. Prices listed in DnD books will be equivelant to silver, silver will be copper, and copper will be half the price listed (round up).

Region:

Everyone, without exception, comes from the Teclarn Region, and so Common is replaced Teclarn, no excuses, exceptions, whatever. It's Teclarn.

Durability of Items:

Unlike before, your items -can- and will wear out. As you may or may not know, weapons and armor have a set hardness and HP in standard DnD. The hardness and HP listed via the item material and type listed is how a new item will start. Skipping chemistry lessons, the fundamental properties of an item usually wont change, so the hardness of an item will always stay the same. However, as you continue to use an item, it's total HP will drop bit by bit, until eventually in battle it may very well break. This is done by an encounter basis. For each encounter done, the item will drop in 1 HP. When the item only has 1 HP left, for each time it is used in battle (if a weapon you use it to attack and if armor someone attacks you), it is a random percentage to break and become unusable.

There is, however, a way to counteract this from happening entirely. In order to restore your item to full HP, you may try a craft check, or you may pay a blacksmith to restore it to working order. The rules for repairing items are the same as presented in the PHb.

As ammunition goes, thrown weapons follow the same rules, but anything you shoot, whether it hits or not, has a 50% chance of being unusable after shot again, assuming you manage to recover it.

That's honestly all I can remember now before I get ready to learn about Differential Equations, so I might updatez later, but this should be all you need. If you have specific questions, ask me directly via messanger (direct doesnt mean send me an offline plz <_<)

Huh, proally shoulda listed this part before...

As you of my game may know, I do allow flaws/traits to be used in my game, albiet one of each. More than that, I do -not- allow those listed in Unearthed Arcana. Matter of fact, if you come asking me about any kind of flaw with this kind of idea:
"It gives you a -# to..."
I'm probably going to say no. I care very little for flaws with a statistical number at this point. I have something more... interesting, in mind.

I'm going to list the flaws here that are usable. I unfortunately do not have the book they are from, so I cannot tell you; -yes- that's haphazard, but I dont really care. Some I -have- seen personally so I know they're right, and making flaws is not a particularly hard thing to do... so I'm going to list those I've remembered and those I've made both.

Each of these flaws typically come in a "1/day" format, and they are all roleplay based. When activated, you -must- play them out to the letter, and this is one of those situations where I'll probably not accept arguement on what I'm telling you to do, so be very careful when you think a flaw might be easy to take. If I think of more to put here, I'll do so in the future.

Hot-headed: You are particularly quick to anger, and this often erupts in some sort of violent display. Once per day, the DM or any player may activate this flaw, and your character immediately becomes enraged, with or without good reason. If this was activated because of a person, the player must have their character attack or do something in order to gain retribution for what was said or done.

Letch: Your attraction to the opposite sex (or in some cases, the same), particularly gets the best of you in situations where it should probably be reigned in. Once per day, the DM or any player may activate this flaw, and your character then immediately must commit some sort of lewd act to the nearest attractive person, reguardless of consequences.

Overconfident: You have an excessive confidence in yourself and all of the actions you do, and you try to pursue your ideas all the way through, even if it seems doomed to failure. Once per day, the DM or any player may activate this flaw, and your character must continue the action they had been doing, reguardless of whether it seems to be appropriate or the right thing to do in the situation.

Spell-slinger: You happen to have a particular fondness of throwing around a particular type of spell, even if it may not be appropriate to do so, and sometimes the spells end up going a bit out of control. Once per day, the DM or any player may activate this flaw, and you must cast a spell of a particular school. If you are a divine caster, this must be an offensive spell of some kind (the DM must decide viable candidates). If you are an arcane caster, you must pick a particular school of magic. This flaw will apply to all spells in that school, so long as the spell has the potential to do damage (which is ultimately up to the DM to decide). For example, if you were a spell-slinger (summoner), you might be forced to summon a creature of some kind that would go out of control.

Ravening: You have a particular desire as a carnivore to kill and eat prey, despite the fact that sometimes it may not be in your best interest. Often this can be creatures not even edible, or it may be one even more powerful than yourself. Once per day, this flaw may be activated by the DM or a player, and you must immediately attempt to attack and devour a nearby living creature. Thsi flaw may only be used for carnivorous beasts like dragons or worgs, and they must be intelligent enough to normally discern when one should not attack.

Cowardice: You aren't particularly fond of stressful situations, and particularly you'd rather run away or avoid an enemy as opposed to going into a fight with one. Once per day, the DM or a player may activate this flaw, and you automatically become frightened from a situation, seeking any and all ways to avoid being in it at all. If by chance you are in a situation where escape is not much of an option, then this translates to a statistical penalty of being frightened.

Diabolus Ex Machina: Luck just doesn't seem to be on your side sometimes, and even though you should be skilled enough to complete a task, fate seems to get in the way of your skill. Once per day, at the DMs discretion, you will automatically fail a skill check or which you would have succeeded against.

In order to better accomidate for the time constraints, and so I dont have to rush things as much, I've polled my players and it's been decided:

We now start at 15:00 EST, and the end time is still the same (19:00 EST).

On an unrelated side-note, I'm taking applicants to this game, but -do not- just sign up without reading the contract, so to speak. If you want to be in my game and do some Roleplay with friends, all power to you, but I implore you to please note, my game has stipulations. The most of what you need to know is in this topic, and the first "dramatic title" one. Questions about either specifically can be directed to me via a messanger.
