Well this has been a bit of a low-key campaign but I decided to put this up there for anyone interested in what my latest campaign is about. After my KiE campaign Fallen Lands, I wanted to get away from the story of Indriul and go to standard DnD. I wanted to basically let my imagination run loose on this one and over the course of a few months I came up with Allura. Allura is an exciting world absolutely rich in backstory that's never been told before. A world where traveling the Astral Plane is commonplace and where gods are vengeful and the mortals begin to question and ignore their deities. However, not all is as it seems. Gods have gone silent, visions of their deaths displayed to their followers. Every party member is visited by a mysterious witch known only as Six. Six prophesies the end of all creation and explains to the party that the barrier that protects their world from the Otherrealm is torn. Within the Otherrealm is the One Father, the God of Absence, or also known as the Forgotten One. Having a deep hatred for all of creation, the One Father is attempting to break free of his prison and eradicate all of what the True Mother, God of Creation, has made. As the veil that imprisons him thins, the seven sins and seven spirits of his world are plunged into the Material Plane. The spirits boon the people they choose to possess, while the sins seize a body for themselves. Now, a race against time has began as the players try to gather the epitomes of the True Mother's power, fragments of the five books of absolute knowledge (The Book of Advent Dawn, the Book of Exhalted Deeds, the Book of Vile Darkness, the Book of the Abyss, and the Book of Absoterminus). With these epitomes, the players will be able to seal the rift and lock the Forgotten One back within his prison, somehow. The campaign promises an exciting world where every kingdom they visit has their own distinct history and beauty. Players will be able to freely roam from one place to another with sidequests, random encounters along the road, and their own distinct storyline revolving around their character's personal history! For anyone who is interested in trying this game out, we're looking for a dedicated player who can make a weekly session. So far Allura's current players are Seikh, Emmy, and Kayin, so ask them about it too or just ask me. |

With chapter 1 of Allura approaching its epic finale, chapter 2 is available for sign up. The current players signed up for Chapter 2: Horrors of the Forgotten One are Seikh, Emmy, Kayin, and Anise. ECL is not currently set in stone but my estimate is between level 12 and 15. Horrors of the Forgotten One takes place some time after Epitomes (between 10 and 30 years). Everything that happened in Epitomes will roll over into this new chapter that is currently planned to be a Horror War game. Details of the chapter will be unavailable at this time since I don't want to throw out any potential spoilers for those still playing the first chapter. We still have room for one more player who, once again, needs to be a dedicated player who can make a weekly session. The sessions range from 3 to 5 hours or until the players wish to stop. Please let me know if you are interested in signing up. |
