Naomi Harper was worried about her first day at the new supermarket.

"This isn't anything like it would be at Food Circus," Naomi admitted nervously to the family. "I have never worked at a huge chain store before."

"Don't worry, Skeeter," Vint said comfortingly, "you'll be just fine."

"Vint's right, Naomi," Ellen said, "I just bet you will be sensational."

"You've got us in your corner, Mom," Buzz said, as he was busy helping his grandmother with breakfast.

"You didn't have to help me with breakfast, darlin'," Thelma said to her grandson, "I could have done this on my own, except we have all them servants who are busy helping us out."

"I just wanted to, Grandma," he said.

"Everyone would say you've got no imagination," Thelma said, "but I love ya."

"Where is dear sister, Eunice?" Ellen asked.

"Thankfully, she had an audition at a local theater in Los Angeles," Phillip said, "she won't be back for a few weeks."

"Maybe that will help her out," Buzz said, "she had always said that she wanted to work at the theater in Los Angeles."

Hours later, Naomi went to the Supermarket on W. Shaw Avenue in Fresno. She had her interview with the chain manager, and she got her job as the new store manager on Shaw Avenue.

She called Vint who had just received a job at the new hardware store as a locksmith, "That is wonderful news, Skeeter," he said, "everyone, she got the job."

"That is great news, Naomi," Thelma said, "we'll all have a nice dinner, we'll put on the old feed bag and have a nice old celebration."

And that was exactly what they did, they had a nice party to celebrate their new lives in Fresno; and the good first day of Naomi's new job.

The celebration was even better. Eunice, it was discovered, had received a long term job in Los Angeles, and would remain there for that. She was discovered to have had some talent, and was instantly hired as an acting coach at Los Angeles High School. She would have her things sent from Fresno to Los Angeles, and what also happened was that she married a rich guy she had met while waiting to talk to the head of the school. He fell in love with Eunice, and she finally got her dues.

"I am gone from your lives, all of ya," Eunice said over the phone, "I got my dreams, and my desires, and you won't ever see me again!"

With that, Eunice moved on with her life.

Tune in again for the next chapter of the Family!
