GFP JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP

LEVI CHAMBERS © vs. CHELLE HARPER

The crowd for Velocity was electric, the first match of the night having set the tone for the rest of the evening as the show as Alyce Karston defended her title against Hiroyoshi Suzuki. Now it was time for the second title match of the night, as GFP’s Junior Champion - Levi Chambers - was set to defend his title against SSWA’s Rising Star Champion and Up and Comer in CCP, Chelle Harper.

The crowd cheered loudly as the two stood across the ring from one another, before the referee called for the bell to get this match underway.

Chambers and Harper lock up, with Chambers immediately getting the advantage as he takes her down and slaps on a rear waistlock. He controls Harper on the ground, not allowing her to get back up as forces her to try to out wrestle him. She finally wraps herself around the bottom rope, forcing the break. Chambers slowly lets go and backs away, smirking down at her as he mouths something to her.

Whatever it was, Harper took exception as she darts back up to her feet and goes after him! She fires off with several kicks to the legs, before whipping him to the ropes and catching him coming in with a Single Leg Dropkick. Chambers scrambles back up to his feet and turns around as Harper bounces off the ropes and hits an amazing Poison Rana! She dropped down to the ground and covered him for the pin.

TW-

Kick out by Chambers!

The move wasn’t anywhere near enough to put the champ away. Harper kept the pace quick as she kept Chambers tripped up throughout the early goings of the match, catching him off guard with a Frankensteiner for another near fall. Both scrambled back up to their feet after as she darted towards the ropes, going for a Springboard maneuver. Chambers moves out of the way of the move and Harper rolls to safety, before charging at him and getting leveled with a hard clothesline. He picked her up a second later, then wrapped both arms around her as he sent her flying with a Head and Arm Suplex. Harper crashed into the mat below with a sick thud, before Chambers shot the half as he went for the pin.

THR- Harper kicked out!

Both Chambers and Harper got back up and the match continued as they battled back and forth, trying to outlast the other in order to come out as GFP’s Junior Champion. Harper managed a well timed duck to avoid the Discus Lariot, before she caught him flush on the jaw with a huge wheel kick, sending him down to a knee. seizing the opportunity, she bounces off the ropes, thinking of going for The Six Second Tan. Just as she came off of the ropes, Chambers lept up, nearly folding her in half as he hit a Spear on the return! Chambers dragged her back up to her feet by the hair and hooked her head, lifting her up high before twisting and dropping her down with The Spinning Chambers!!!! He rolled Harper over and hooked her leg (MAKING SURE TO GRAB THE TIGHTS) which the referee didn’t see as he went for the pin!

THREE!

Chambers rolled off of Harper after the referee’s hand came down for the three, smirking arrogantly as he’s managed to snatch away the victory over a very game opponent. Chelle got back up with a confused and understandably angry expression on her face. Levi stands up, snatching the title away from the referee and rolling out of the ring, holding the belt up victoriously as he celebrated the win.

GFP TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

FRACTURE © vs. The Cardinal/Wildcat Alliance

The young upstarts in The Cardinal/Wildcat Alliance looked both nervous and excited, gaining a shot at becoming tag team champions for the first time in their young careers. But it wouldn’t be an easy task, as they faced off against the far more experienced Tag Team Champions, FRACTURE.

The fans roared loudly as the referee rang the bell, getting the match underway. Andrew Karnage stepped up to kick things off for FRACTURE, with Donte Skinner starting the match off for his team. Skinner wasted very little time in leaping at Karnage, trying to chop the bigger, stronger wrestler down...

WHAM

… And is immediately knocked away as Karnage sends him crashing into the mat with a stiff forearm shot to the face. Skinner is clearly rattled by the shot, but tries to shake it off as he goes back on the attack, trying any and everything he could think of to try and take down Karnage. He bounces off the ropes, looking for a flying cross body and is caught in the air with a massive big boot to the face. Karnage doesn’t allow Donte the chance to try for more as he picks him up and tosses him into his corner. Tagging in Murakami, he holds up Donte’s arm and allows her to stomp right at the youngster’s ribcage, before stepping out onto the apron as his partner picks up where he leaves off.

Murakami yanked Donte back up to his feet and hooked his arm and head in a front facelock, firing off with several stiff knees to the body before sending him flying with a hatch suplex! Donte crashes into the mat hard as Murakami smirks, before rolling him over and going for the pin. Donte was able to get the shoulder up, and the match continued!

FRACTURE kept control for a sizable part of the match, cutting off the ring and using their knowledge to dissect Donte, not allowing the tag to happen. Donte managed fight back into the match, taking Murakami off her feet with a big headscissors takedown as a counter to a fallaway slam, before finally making the tag to his brother!

Jamal waited for Murakami to get back to her feet before he lept in, catching her with a huge springboard clothesline and firing off with the right hands! He quickly leaps up and runs towards the corner, dropkicking Karnage off the apron before turning his attention back to Murakami. Just as she got swung for the clothesline, he ducked under it and catches her with a wheelbarrow hold, before transitioning into a huge bulldog.

The match has picked up, and it looks as if The Cardinal/Wildcat Alliance may be able to pull off the huge upset as they set up Karnage for the Red and Blue Driver. Just as Jamal gets up to the top rope, Murakami shoves him off of the top rope and sends him flying into one of the guard rails outside of the ring below! In the ring, Karnage had regained his bearings and all but floored Donte with Main Event Spinebuster! The crowd popped loudly as Karnage picked Donte up off of the ground, before he sent him to the ropes and caught him coming in with a decapitating Nightmare Lariat! He dropped down for the pin, getting the three and retaining FRACTURE’s tag team titles!

MAIN EVENT
INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
Notes: Winner will be International Champion Champion of both CCP and PU or NPU. The champion will be required to compete for GFP and CCP when required.

Alexa Corra vs. Big Beauty vs. Rin vs. Ricky Valero vs. Date Sakuraba vs. Kyo vs. Anya Sands

The crowd, who had been great all night, were still electric as they awaited the Main Event of the evening. All seven Wrestlers were in the ring, representing Puroresu United, Nihon Pro Universal, and Cardinal City Pro as they were about to compete for the right to be crowned the first person to hold the Inter-Promotional Title, The GFP/CCP International Championship. The belt in question sat at the timekeeper’s table, proudly on display and waiting for the competitor hungry enough to take it.

The referee rang the bell, and all seven wrestlers wasted very little time in brawling with one another. Corra and Sands went after Big Beauty in one corner, stomping away at the large, intimidating woman as she held her own and fought them off. Over on the other side of the ring, Rin and Kyo formed a surprising alliance and began to brawl with Ricky Valero and Date Sakuraba.

After a few moments, there were several moments of peril that took place, as Beauty and Sakuraba were bothl in danger of being tossed over the top rope and quickly eliminated from the match. Sands and Corra had Beauty by the legs, trying to toss the 6’5, near 270 pound Amazon over the top rope and down to the floor. Across the ring, Rin had Sakuraba trapped in the ropes, trying to force him over and out as the masked man and Kyo worked to toss him over.

Beauty, on the verge of elimination, reached up and nailed Corra right in the face with a huge forearm, sending her stumbling backwards before kicking away Sands, freeing herself! She caught Sands by the throat as the smaller woman charged in, before lifting her up high and dropping her with a massive Chokeslam!

On the other side, Valero attacked Rin from behind, inadvertently allowing Sakuraba to come back in and attack Kyo! The four continue to brawl, before Sakuraba gets the upper hand on Kyo and looks to toss him out of the ring. Before he does, Kyo pushes off and Rin joins him - the duo nails Sakuraba with Dual Running Knees to the face, sending him right into the ropes! This allowed Kyo to unceremoniously toss him over the top rope!

DATE SAKURABA HAS BEEN ELIMINATED

Kyo celebrated the elimination, not paying attention to Valero who had just gotten back up to his feet. Turning around, Kyo was blasted right on the chin with a brutal superkick! The F&L member was all but out on his feet, before Kyo grabbed him by the head and tossed him over the top rope and down to the floor!

KYO HAS BEEN ELIMINATED

Two eliminated, and it’s down to five as Valero turned his attention back to Rin, only to catch a right hand to the face as the match continued on! Big Beauty continued to manhandle both Corra and Sands, while the two fought back as best they could against the mountain of a woman.

Beauty had nearly taken Sands’ head off with a big boot a few moments later, before she got caught right in the side of the head with a Diving knee from Rin, taking her down to a knee! This allowed Corra to blast Beauty flush on the jaw with a huge Bankshot Superkick, laying her out cold in the middle of the ring!

Immediately after the Superkick, Corra ducked under a kick thrown by Rin and caught him behind the ear with one of her own, dazing him . She whipped him over the top rope, causing him to land on the ring apron, just barely avoiding elimination. He goes to springboard in - Corra knocks him off of the top rope, causing him to land stomach first across it! She then measures, before blasting the masked man right in the face with a brutal knee, sending him backwards and down to the floor, taking him out of the match!

RIN HAS BEEN ELIMINATED

Corra wasn’t given any time to rest, as Ricky Valero caught her from behind with a hard forearm to the back of the head, sending her down to the mat. Yanking her back up by her feet, the former Openweight Champion hooks her head and leg and lifts her up high - before dropping her right on the back of her head with an emphatic PinnaclePlex!

Looking around the ring, Valero was the only person left standing, as Beauty was still down from the Terminus/Bankshot combination, and Sands had rolled out of the ring from the force of the boot to the skull she had taken earlier. He smirked, before reaching down and picking up Corra, looking to eliminate the former Queen of The Mountain and loosely locks in, going for The Franchise Tag. He snaps back, going to toss her - Corra lands on her feet!

Valero tries to scramble back to his feet, but isn’t quick enough as Corra catches him right on the back of the head with a Decapitator Axe Kick! His skull bounces off of the mat, and Corra drags Valero back up to his feet before blasting him with a running kick, catching him on the chin and sending him over the top rope!

RICKY VALERO HAS BEEN ELIMINATED

Collapsing onto the ground, Corra was physically exhausted as she tried to use the ropes to pick herself up, only for someone to grab onto her foot. Looking back, she saw Big Beauty crouched down behind her, a hand wrapped around her ankle and yanking Corra towards her. Beauty stood upright and pulled Corra up to her feet, wrapping a large hand around her throat. Beauty smiled wickedly, about to throw Corra right over the top rope and eliminate her -

WHAM

- ANYA SANDS, OUT OF NOWHERE, BLASTS BEUTY RIGHT IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD WITH THE GUITAR SHE KEPT AT RINGSIDE, BREAKING IT OVER THE AMAZON’S HEAD!

The blow caused Beauty to drop Corra back down, the back of her head bleeding profusely as she stumbled for a moment. Sands didn’t let up, bouncing off the ropes and dropkicking Beauty right in the chest, sending her right into the ropes. Corra followed it up by latching onto Beauty’s legs, hoisting her up and managing to dump Beauty over the top rope!

BIG BEAUTY’S BEEN ELIMINATED, AND IT’S DOWN TO JUST TWO!

Corra leaned against the ropes, giving the Amazon a tired sneer as Casey Matthews went ballistic at ringside, not at all pleased that his client has been eliminated from the match. Turning around, she saw that Sands had gotten back to her feet as well, and was now staring at her as the situation hit them. The two allies were the final two wrestlers left in the ring. The only thing that stood between losing this match and becoming the first person to hold the Cross Branded title, was the person standing before them.

Pushing herself off of the ropes, Corra stood upright as she and Sands stare down, ignoring the crowd around them. There was an air of anticipation as the crowd waited, wanting to see if the two would come to blows as the International Title hung in the balance. Suddenly, Sands backed off, still looking at Corra as she walked towards the ring ropes and hopped over the top rope, landing on the ring apron. The crowd, who had been cheering throughout the staredown for the most part, began to boo loudly as they realized what was about to happen as Sands leaps down to the floor, effectively eliminating herself from the match and giving Corra the win!

Corra smirked evilly as the fans booed the climax of the match riotously, being handed the title from the referee as she held it up high. Sands allowed her ally her moment, picking up the destroyed remains of her guitar and walking to the back. Wrapping the title belt around her waist, Corra mouthed the words “Lalalaa”, her eyes rolling back as she took in the win and her first major global scale world championship belt.

WINNER AND FIRST EVER CCP/GFP INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION - ALEXA CORRA! (58:48)
