The scene opens up a still shot of Nina working out in an KWI ring. It was taken sometime during her first few weeks of training school. A voiceover from Nina begins to play. NINA STOKES: Most people know my story already. But, for any new fans’ sake, I’ll give everyone a refresher course. Wrestling has always been a passion, a desire of mine. Ever since I was a wee lil’ Nina, all I ever wanted to do was become a wrestler, along with my brother. We had a master plan, let me tell you. We were going to train together, break-in together, and venture out on this grand journey, together. But, as plans are made, plans go awry. My brother’s dreams and passion were not able to be realized―the side effects of fight the War on Terror. However, he encouraged me to follow my dreams, to follow my passions. And, here I am now. The screen switches. Footage of some of Nina’s early HKW matches begin to play. NINA STOKES: After I graduated from KWI, my first choice, in terms of places to work for, was HKW. It wasn’t about money, but it was about opportunity. HKW is one of the largest promotions in the world; eyes from all over the world would be focused on me and what I could do in the ring. And so, I jumped into the deep end, and sent my tapes to HKW Headquarters. A few days later, I was accepted. I was placed on Defiance; that was my home. Of course, I had an uphill battle to face. I was still learning the ends and outs of this Business, I was still learning how to interact with my peers. Eventually, I figured that shit out. And, that’s when things began to take off. I started winning matches, I started getting recognition. And then, it all culminated with me capturing the Bloodlust Championship. The footage flips to Nina’s face covered in blood. NINA STOKES: What a lot of people don’t know, is that while I was holding that belt, I was going to through some tough times. I won’t go into it, but a great deal of personal shit was going down. Instead of being a normal person, I chose to release my frustrations through wrestling. I was going through a bunch of mental anguish; additionally, I wanted people to finally respect me, in regards to wrestling. And so, I developed this “fuck it” attitude. I’m sure you all saw it. That “fuck it” attitude forced me to face Artemis Kaiser and Cordy Stevenson in PWP’s Queen of Death (on a Friday), face Fran in a Glass-Tables match (on a Saturday), and then work a match for a now defunct company (on Monday). I was so wild, so reckless. Clips of Nina’s match with Laurel Ann Hardy begin to play. NINA STOKES: Those mental roadblocks cleared themselves up in the midsts of my reign as Bloodlust Champion. Logically, you’d think I would have become safer, a little less reckless. However that was not the case. I found myself trying to take more risks. I found myself trying to prove a point to other people. I wanted people to view me as a great champion; I wanted people to respect me. Therefore, I put my body and life on the line. I walked through Hell to garner people’s attention―and for the most part, no one gave a shit! That much is clear by Ashley Sullivan’s little monologue from a couple of weeks ago. The scene begins to show footage of Nina training during her brief off-period. It starts of with her Jiu Jitsu training; she working on applying submissions from guard. After about thirty seconds, the scene switches to her training in a ring. NINA STOKES: My first stint in HKW was spent trying to please others. What I learned is though, no matter how great you are in the ring, you won’t please people. They will still have some shit to say about you. I’ve spent enough time trying to please you all―it’s time to focus on what I want to do. Now, don’t misconstrue things. I’ve got a lot of friends on SubVersion. You all know that you are my heart, and that you’ve got nothing to worry about. And, if you aren’t a friend, but you still show me respect, then it will be reciprocated. The rest of you? You all can catch these kicks to the head as I head towards the top. Fade out. |

Womp, womp.

The first shot that greets the audience is of the painting of Spider that Sophie made earlier. As the camera descends, it reveals the girl seated underneath it. Sweat rolled down her face. Clutched in her hand a water bottle and in her teeth a lollipop stick. She lowers her head nonchalantly and spits it out. She looks back up at the camera, her lax expression clear of fatigue. SOPHIA EL: It is done. She scratches underneath her eye. SOPHIA EL: All it took was one opportunity and one kick to silence a crowd, a rowdy, arrogant man, and anyone who pondered if Sophie was something to look at. To be honest, I had forgotten the madness that was wrestling. I had fun tonight. Sophie peers upward at her handiwork. She lazily reaches up to rub it, smiling tenderly as she does. SOPHIA EL: Spider, you never told me how you liked the painting? Hm, that makes me a little sad that you don't care. No matter, you'll see it one day. She points to the other side. This prompts the camera to look over at the obscure painting of Jakob Alexander. Sophie recently added a large red X over it. She laughs as the camera operator walks towards it. SOPHIA EL: Jakob Alexander, you said that if you won or lost, that we'd be having ourselves a match. You lost, but you didn't take the pin. Do you wish to continue this? You almost ruined my plan by getting yourself into this match, but as I stated, I always have contingencies. If you're still feeling a certain kind of way, you know how to get in contact with me. The camera operator pulls the camera back to Sophie who is now standing. She stretches her limbs, shaking them out with a low noise coming from her. SOPHIA EL: Now if you'll excuse me, folks. I got a plane to catch. I'm off to see... She stops in her tracks, resting a finger on her lower lip. Inquisitive about her own mechanisms, Sophie paces a little back and forth before coming to a conclusion. SOPHIA EL: My lover...I think. Finding herself perplexed by her own memory, Sophie decides it's time to vanish before she embarrasses herself any further. Giving the camera a happy wave, she disappears from sight. When the operator turns to catch her leaving, she seemingly has found a way to escape too quickly for them. Defeated, the operator lets the feed fade to black. |

We move throughout the backstage area, where we see Levi Chambers already dressed in his street clothes, drinking from a bottle of Fiji water. He sees the cameras and puts his drink away before he smiles. LEVI CHAMBERS: 1-0. Undefeated, How sweet does that word sound? UN-DE-FEAT-ED. One of the greatest words in the English language besides money, gold, and glory, of course. Chambers smiles. LEVI CHAMBERS: Tonight, I showed Tanner Sands why he didn't deserve to share a ring with me. And soon enough? Either Veronica Taylor, or the Sands that is the least successful of the group are going to learn the same thing. Levi Chambers is the future of this company, and he's just going to keep on winning, and winning, and winning. The former SSWA champion chuckles. LEVI CHAMBERS: Get used to seeing that ref raising my hand from now on. Levi winks before walking off, letting out another chuckle as he does so. |

People are seen rushing towards a back entrance with their cameras ready. The eVolve cameraman pushes his way through the crowd. Cameraman Excuse me. Excuse me. Coming through..Yeah I'm headed back there now. He's about to come out in a minute now. So many people back here man I don't know if I'll be able to get to him fast enough. COMING THROUGH PEOPLE! The people make a hole letting him through. As soon as he makes it to the front the doors bust open with Emilio Vialpando and his father/manager Luis Vialpando walking out to the gang of people who stayed to see him. Some fans are booing because of what later happened on the end of SubVersion. A small smile was seen creeping on Emilio's face as he began to make his way through the crowd. Some female fans try and reach out to him but security puts a stop to that by swiping their hands away. Cameraman Emilio! Emilio! Over here! Luis stops his son and points over to the eVolve cameraman. Emilio makes his way back towards the cameraman and nods his head towards him. Cameraman Emilio..Um first off welcome back and happy birthday. One hell of a birthday huh? Emilio doesn't say anything he just chuckles and nods. Fans who over heard begin to yell out happy birthday to him. Some female fans ask to be his birthday present but Emilio ignores them rubbing the bridge of his nose laughing while shaking his head. Cameraman Alright I think what's on everyone's minds is...Why did you do that? Why did you set Jason up like that? I thought you guys were friends. Looking up to the camera Emilio smirks. Emilio Vialpando It's nothing personal. Camaeraman Is there anything you can tell us about tonight? Emilio begins to turn and looks back to the camera. Emilio Vialpando Happy Biirthday to me and....It's show time Emilio winks and laughs as he begins to walk off with his dad. Edited by Emilio Vialpando, Sep 14 2015, 04:01 PM.

The scene is set at the parking lot of the Nassau Veterans Coliseum in Uniondale, New York where the first edition of SubVersion is under wraps...possibly the last event held on in this arena before its demolition and one that was most certainly for the ages. The cameraman, however, does catch none other than HKW newcomer Chris Strike emerging from one of the double doors, letting it shut close behind him while re-adjusting the duffel bag around his right shoulder before he began walking closer to where the camera is shooting. A faded yellow colored t-shirt with the words "BRASIL" in navy blue and the Brazilian flag below it, black jeans and blue & white Nike's are the casual wear at hand post-match and show while the Brazilian native and six-time World champion and the camera focus switches off to a closer scene, where it now sees the resident iGNITE, now SubVersion interviewer in Tristan Morris approach the scene in question and Chris Strike, a microphone in his hands. TRISTAN MORRIS: Excuse me, Mr. Strike? Yes, hi, I was wondering if you have a minute or two to just talk about your HKW debut and this first edition of SubVersion? Strike glanced at the interviewer, brought out his cell phone from his pocket, glanced at the time quickly and then pocketed it. CHRIS STRIKE: Sure, I've got a few minutes before I have to drive to the airport. ...So, for starters, it was good to come out here to Nassau on perhaps the very last event it'll hold before its demolition and kick some ass. Finally getting to debut under the Hard Knox banner was an experience and I'm looking forward to continuing to put in work and earning my stripes with the company. Especially with a brand that showed it's more than ready to step up with the work the guys and gals put up there tonight. TRISTAN MORRIS: Yes. But something that's been on the minds of every single viewer here tonight...what was the deal between you and Board of Directors member Zero McHannon? Strike couldn't help a sigh, the memories flooding instantly to his mind. CHRIS STRIKE: A lot of it, kid, is ancient history at this point. Dating back to the times when we were both fighting for the EXODUS Pro World title - long before Mr. McHannon became a suit out in these parts and long before I got myself into the form that I'm in today. I'm not sure why bring up the past the way he did, much less when we're both trying to turn new leaves in this company...but it is what it is. He expects me to step up and pay my dues? I'll be glad to do that and then some, going from the bottom of the totem pole to the top of the mountain. I've done it everywhere else I've gone to over damn near fifteen years of wrestling all over the world...Hard Knox Wrestling won't be any different. ...That said, if you'll excuse me, I can't miss my flight. We'll do this again sometime, kid. With a nod, Chris Strike excuses himself while Tristan Morris attempts to get something else out but bumbles over his own words and decides to leave the newcomer to his devices, motioning for the cameraman to cut the feed here and now. |

Two EMT's are wrapping a large ice pack over the back of HKW Global Champion Jason Mentez's head. The camera crew and Tristan Morris are already setting up microphone in his hand as he watches a lot of the backstage personnel and crew walk past him. Jason has the HKW Global Championship sitting in his lap as he stays still until the medical personnel are done wrapping the ice pack directly over the swelling damage to the back right side of Jason's head. His crisp Tom Ford is now open and disheveled looking he has since opened the jacket of the suit and opened the top of his black button up for comfort. Looking up at the EMT's they ask him a few last questions to which Jason lightly shakes his head to saying no. A couple more sentences are said between the two the camera not catching the full conversation and then after a set of handshakes the two male EMT's walk away giving Tristan and company opportunity to step in next in front of Jason. Tristan Morris: Jason, Jason...we know this might not be the best time. "Sure it is T-Mo. Aint nothing but a lil bump on the head." Jason feels around the back of his head for the position of the ice pack and wrap. He feels around the site of pain before chuckling. "Real shit, I miss my hair for real rite nah. My long hair woulda cushioned some of the blow right there." Tristan Morris: You seem to be in chipper spirits after something so messed up to happen to you and where it's happened to you in your home state of New York. One of the few shows to happen here in Nassau Veterans Coliseum. A-Are you actually ok with what happened? Jason looks up at Tristan before rising in his chair grabbing the HKW Global Title and slinging it across his shoulder. A slight sigh leaves his lips before he looks back to Tristan to answer. "Don't get my joking nature to fool you Tristan. I know who I'm dealing with here. I'm not surprised by his actions if anything I'm surprised he allowed me to speak as long as he did before he hit me. I was able to get my whole speech out before he decked me. I doubt he'd a let any other do the same. Me y Em?... He points to himself before out into the space down the hallway toward the exit of the Coliseum. "We been at this a looong time ¿Lo ves? This isn't a new rodeo by any means. El mismo de siempre. He had to put his foot down somewhere let everyone not only myself know where he stands and what he's looking for. Well... Jason lightly touches the ice pack on the back of his head. "Message received. The snake is back and in full effect. Now its up to me to either respond in kind or let it go." Tristan looks a little shocked by Jason's reaction looking at him unsure. Tristan Morris: To be honest Jason this isn't like you. I was expecting a very red shade on your face and well anger in your eyes. The more wild reaction from you. Jason smirks a bit before looking down at his designer shoes. "You know what Tristan? This is actually surprising me too. I'm used to storming down the hallways, throwing shit, breaking shit, yelling out to Dios why would a friend betray me in such a way. Then I realized something. It's finally caught on in my 2 years here in Hard Knox. I've learned in my time. When it comes to this..." Jason taps the front plate where his name is on the HKW Global Championship. "There are no friends. No alliances. No brotherhood or sisterhoods. There is no blood. No love. No honor. It's by any means to get and remain on top. I respect that. It's how I've been able to hold this title. So why sit here and cry over something that has never existed in the first place in Hard Knox? It doesn't make sense and it doesn't benefit me at all. What I focus on? Is what's next. So Emilio popped me with brass knucks in the head from behind. We acting like snakes don't attack while their prey isn't looking. He don't call himself that for nothin son. This is a guy who has no problem with doing anything to get where he wants to be. We all should be surprised that this is all he's done--so far--because I know it's merely the beginning. If he's looking for a irate reaction..." Jason shakes his head. "Nahh, not giving the boy dat. What I will do for him though. It's simply remind him. We all need reminders sometime in life. I'ma jus remind him. His break may have helped him forget after all. Nothing personal. Just a little reminder. Oh and give him some love for his birthday T-Mo. It's not everyday a man gives to another on his day of birth. Special guy..." Jason's expression goes from a nonchalant demeanor to a more determined focus. His brown eyes are the only window to show his level of readiness to react in kind. "Real special guy..." Fades |

The loading dock of the Nassau Veterans Coliseum is a hive of activity as teamsters and stagehands scurry back and forth with various pieces of Hard Knox paraphernalia that needs to be loaded into trucks and out of the building by midnight. One group carries a part of the lighting rig and loads it into one truck, another carries the ringposts and the supporting beams of the ring to be placed into a second truck, and between the noise of the trucks being loaded and the salty conversations of the various crews, the scene is almost deafening Yet amidst all of this, there's one man who isn't participating, just observing - Elijah Black is standing to one side watching what's happening, still wearing the same Last House on the Left t-shirt he was wearing all night, ELIJAH BLACK: When the show's over and everyone has left the arena, this is what happens - everything that you saw that made it a wrestling show is deconstructed, filed, stamped, indexed and taken to the next town by an army of men whose names you don't know, who aren't paid anywhere near what Brandon Banks or Joey Perello make in a year, but without them the show simply would not happen. But I'm not here to speak on behalf of the Hard Knox road crew - instead I'm here to make a couple of observations. You see, a few weeks back, I said I would defeat Chaos - and I did. A couple of weeks after that, I said the Subversion team that I was on would defeat the Defiance team, and we did. Lastly, a week or so ago, I said I would defeat Jinzai - which I did. Are you noticing a pattern here? I say that I am going to do something, and that's exactly what happens. Before he continues, Black pauses and holds up an index finger ELIJAH BLACK: Now, obviously, a lesser man would try and pass off the result as 100% their own work, but I'm not going to insult your intelligence and pretend Riley Lynn didn't interject herself into proceedings by spending her own money on some of Jinzai's merchandise and sharing the wealth with the fans at ringside. That was quite altruistic of her, considering Jinzai's shirts cost fifteen bucks a pop - but I'm not here to talk about Riley Lynn giving a little back to the Hard Knox fanbase, no, instead I'm going to talk about Jinzai thinking he had the match won so he could afford to look away from his opponent to check what was happening elsewhere. When you're in a match, your world begins and ends inside those ropes, so focusing on anything else is a mark of abject stupidity - or has the knowledge of a guaranteed contract for the next four years made him lazy? He'll be making more money every year than the majority of the Hard Knox roster, regardless of what he does or they do, so it's not like he has an incentive to take his matches as seriously - especially since he's getting 2% of whatever Riley Lynn paid for the shirts she was handing out. Black pauses, giving a knowing look to camera while rubbing his thumb against his index and middle finger a couple of times, getting the point across ELIJAH BLACK: Or maybe I'm going about this the wrong way: maybe it wasn't the knowledge of a few bucks extra finding their way into Jinzai's monthly paycheque that saw his mind wander from the mild inconvenience of being in a wrestling match, maybe he was worried that Riley didn't pay for those shirts and he found himself paralysed by the thought of not screwing a few extra cents out of the Hard Knox fanbase? Either way, Jinzai made his pride secondary to the dollar, and that... Black realises he's about to make an inadvertent pun and shakes his head and makes a frustrated growl, but he rolls through it anyway ELIJAH BLACK: ...and that cost him the match. With that out of the way, Black rolls his eyes ELIJAH BLACK: What we witnessed tonight was the first shots being fired for Hybrid Hell, but while Jinzai's shots were wayward and off target, mine were precise and right between my enemy's eyes. But I should probably warn Jinzai that if he thinks I'm going to think "one down, four to go" and move on to one of Hunter, Magnum, Riley or Ashley as my next target, he's making a mistake - because I don't want him to feel the worst is over, because he already knows I can beat him, yet the worst is still lying in wait for him in Hybrid Hell. The words hang in the air for a second as a malicious smirk crosses Black's face, before he turns and walks away into the night's cool air |

![]() JINZAI: SONOVA BITTCH!!!! The Hybrid Champion's yell rang out loud throughout the backstage area as he threw his water bottle right at a nearby wall. Not bothering to watch as the bottle exploded on contact, the Super Saiyan leaned against a nearby production crate and slid down, sitting on the ground as he ran a hand through his hair in frustration. He'd scratched, clawed, and fought his way out of a hole that left him flopping as a singles wrestler since late last year. Over the course of 4+ months, he managed to put ALL of that dark period in his career behind him by winning the Cyber Championship GO Contract. He had a title opportunity he could cash in at any time, anywhere, any place... And he chose to do it the right way. Straight up, in a wrestling match. He wasn't gonna pretend that he hadn't thought about cashing in on Riley sooner. If not because he kept asking himself could he wait that long, then because Riley kept finding new ways to piss him off with each show since then. He held out, beat her at a match she insisted she was better in, and proved he was just simply BETTER that night. And now? Now he's one foot in the grave and a push away from being BACK in that hole he fought to crawl out of. And Riley's partly to blame. Looking up and noticing the cameraman, Jinzai growled slightly and was quickly moved back onto his feet. JINZAI: Look dude, obviously not in the mood for - Jinzai stopped in mid sentence, pausing as his eyes glinted dangerously. JINZAI: On second thought... stay. Stay right there and don't move. You wanted to interview me right? Get a little soundbyte for Aftermath? The camera nodded up and down, and Jin's eyes darkened just slightly as he began to speak. JINZAI: So Riley, congratulations. No... really, congratulations. Along with not respecting me or my accomplishment enough to let me have my first moment as champion... you cost me a match I needed going into this abomination of a Chamber Cell that we're going into. I guess that makes us Even Stevens for me beating you right? Jinzai's lips quirked into a smirk as he let himself relax a little as he continued. JINZAI: I'm not gonna take away shit from Elijah Black. Reguardless of what happened, he's got one over me, the defending champ with the odds stacked against him, going into Destiny and that's one too many. But we still got a few weeks between now and then and there's 3 others in the match with us. I'll return the favor before then. But looking back at it, Riles? I can't help but laugh. Not because you coming out there and handing out my merch to fans is funny. Not because you fixing up an EXPLODING FUCKING CAKE was hi-freaking-larious. But because you think that all of this changes anything. That if you humiliate me enough, piss me off enough, hell, cost me enough matches, that it'll make up for me taking what was supposed to be your accolade. That was the whole reasoning behind you wanting to be the first person with the Hybrid Title, right? Not because you want it to legitimately prove you're the best to hold it. Not because you want the honor, the freaking HONOR of having this belt's lineage starting with you. Jinzai shook his head no. JINZAI: No, you wanted it because it was supposed to be the final step in your "redemption". After The Bossman humiliated you for the world to see, you FINALLY redeemed yourself in your eyes and the eyes of the fans. Then I came along and it all came to a screeching halt. Let me make this perfectly clear for the last time... I didn't want to step on your moment. I know what it feels like to have to claw back up to that position. But that familiarity and sympathy got pissed away weeks ago. Now? Now there's a burning desire to see you hurt in the worst way imaginable. I'm not talkin' physical. I put you through a table and dropped you on your FACE from the top of a ladder. Placing the title up on his shoulder, Jinzai continued to speak, the fire in his eyes blazing at this point with anger and determination. JINZAI: So I'm gonna spend entire pay per view doing what I do best just to destroy your ego. Because when the lights are on bright and the pressure's on me, I start doing things. Things NOBODY in this company is capable of or willing to do to themselves to make sure they walk out with the victory. And all of that? That's gonna be aimed at you, and 4 other people who are locked inside of a cage with ME. JINZAI: I'm gonna go through you, Hunter, Black, Magnus, and Ashley at Destiny with every ounce of hot blooded desire and reckless abandon I've got in my veins, Riles. And when the dust settled and the smoke's cleared, the record books will forever read Destiny: Chapter II as being the night Super Saiyan Jinzai went nuts... and walked out STILL your Hard Knox Wrestling Hybrid Champion. Without another word, Jinzai turned on his heel and stormed down the hall towards his locker room, still holding his Hybrid Title. |
