SINGLES MATCH
Project Venom vs. Yasu Yoshida and Katsu Nakano

This match was dominated by Project Venom who had Pierce and Rin in this match. Rin and Katsu starting the match. Early on Rin took command with after a running high knee, followed by a perfectly executed hesitation dropkick. Katsu got to his knees only to be leveled with some back backhanded strikes to the face. In what seemed to be a merciful move Rin tossed Katsu over to Yasu for the tag. As Yasu made his way into the ring Rin met him with a forearm to the side of the head followed up by a rope aided neckbreaker. Taking him to his corner Rin continued the mauling hitting a few running forearms before Yasu fell in the corner. Allowing for Rin to perform a face wash on his opponent before tagging in Pierce. Pierce came into the ring lifting Yasu out of the corner but Yasu tried to fight back hitting Pierce with a few forearms shots that have little to no effect on him. Pierce simply grabbed Yasu then threw him across the ring with a Beil.

Katsu tagged himself in as Yasu laid lifeless at his feet. He charged Pierce only to be caught with a huge clothesline that turned him inside out. Walking over Pierce tagged in Rin before going back over to Katsu and lifting him into a powerbomb position, Rin then hit a diving neckbreaker along with the powerbomb, successfully finishing off their Chapter Black finisher. It was academic from there as Rin made the cover for the three count.

Winners via pinfall - Project Venom (5:11)

After the match Pierce grabbed ahold of a microphone as he Rin looked on silently. Pierce said that there was no tag team in GFP that could stop them and that they’d be back where they belong before long.

GLORY CUP - ROUND TWO
LING LING vs LYZA REYES

The match got underway with a test strength by both women which Lyza got the better of. Lyza tried to pull Ling Ling into a belly to belly suplex, but Ling Ling elbowed Lyza in the face to back her away. Ling Ling went for a running lariat attempt, but Lyza ducked it and sent Ling Ling over the top rope with a huge back body drop!

Lyza immediately exited the ring, pulling Ling Ling up by her hair only to throw her shoulder first into the steel steps at ringside. The referee’s count got up to eleven before Lyza pulled Ling Ling up by her head and slid her into the ring. Once Ling was in the ring, Lyza climbed up to the top rope, turned her back to Ling, and came off the top rope with a beautiful moonsault! Lyza went for the cover and the win…

… but Ling kicked out at two!

The Queens native waited for Ling to get up and attempted a jumping knee strike, but Ling moved out of the way! Lyza turned around and walked right into a big roundhouse kick from Ling Ling! Ling dropped down for the cover, but Lyza kicked out at two!

As the match progressed, Ling hit Lyza with a sequence of moves that included a falcon arrow and a german suplex off the top rope, but the resilient Lyza Reyes continued to kick out. The Japanese fans couldn’t help but applaud the fighting spirit shown by both women, and that was when the action picked up.

Ling kicked Lyza in the midsection, but Lyza fired back with an elbow to Ling’s face.

Lyza hit Ling with a second elbow to the jawn, but Ling fired back with a shoot kick to the midsection.

The continued exchanging blows until Ling went for a sit-out facebuster, but Lyza shoved Ling back and hit a running hurricanrana with the pin!

…. but Ling kicked out at two again!

Lyza looked around at the fans cheering, wondering just what she had to do to put Ling away. Trying to waste as little time as possible, Lyza grabbed a hold of Ling’s arm and looked for the Fujiwara armbar, but Ling pulled her arm away and caught Lyza with a lungblower! Ling crawled toward Lyza, draped her arm across her chest, but Lyza kicked out just before the referee’s hand came down for the three!

Ling then went for a diving crossbody seconds later, but Lyza dodged her, forcing the Korean to hit the mat with a thud! Lyza then grabbed Ling and quickly planted her right on her head with a DDT before she hooked both legs, only for Ling to kick out at two! Lyza continued on the attatck, catching Ling Ling with a handspring back elbow that sent Ling falling to the mat and unkwoingly rolling out of the ring!

Lyza sighed as she then exited the ring and grabbed Ling Ling, throwing her back first into the barricade! Lyza then grabbed Ling’s head and planted her onto the mat with a DDT, laying the former GFP staff member out! Lyza then grabbed Ling and rolled her back into the ring before she slid in and went for the pin again, only to get another two count!

Reyes continued to beat down Ling as the match continued on, hitting a jumping knee strike that floored the Lingster and allowed the guest to go for the win again, only for Ling to throw a shoulder up at the last second! After that, Reyes went to the nearest corner and climbed to the top before she waited for Ling to get to her feet. Once she did, Lyza leaped off and attempted “DreamBodyCatcher” (diving crossbody), but Ling moved out of the way!

Lyza then slowly got to her feet, but Ling snuck up behind her and rolled her up...getting the three count!

Ling quickly bailed out of the ring after winning the match and the ref raised her arm high in the air to cheers from the audience.

Winner via pinfall - Ling Ling (13:09)

GLORY CUP - NIGHT TWO
The Crimson Baroness vs. Annie Zellor

Once the match got underway, The Crimson Baroness tried for a handshake but Annie seemed skeptical. After a couple seconds of deliberating, Annie went to meet the Baroness halfway for the handshake, but the Baroness pulled her hand away and blasted Annie with a quick right hand! Annie spun around, allowing The Baroness to attempt a quick roll up, but Annie kicked out at two.

Both competitors scrambled up to their feet and went right at one another, but The Baroness caught Annie with a kick to the midsection and tried for a jumping DDT, but Annie shoved The Baroness back just in time! Baroness lunged forward for a clothesline, but Annie ducked out of the way and caught The Baroness with a dropkick to the back of the head!

The Baroness fell out through the middle ropes and onto the apron, but immediately got to a vertical base. Annie lunged forward to shoulder thrust The Baroness off the apron, but The Baroness moved out of the way and landed a huge penalty kick to Annie’s just as soon as her head came through the ropes. With Annie groggy, the Baroness positioned herself next to Annie’s head to slingshot into the ring and roll Annie up in a sunset flip…

KICKOUT AT TWO AND A HALF!

The Baroness questioned the referee’s count as she grabbed Annie’s right arm and held it down to keep control of Annie. Annie tried to use her other hand to punch The Baroness away, but the Baroness had another idea. The LDFC mainstay drove her knee directly into Annie’s arm not once but twice and then went to lock in an armbar variation, but Annie pulled her arm away!

Annie tried to roll out away from the Baroness, but the Baroness was right there on her heels. The meaner part of the “Itty Bitty Titty Wrecking Committee” tried to pull her opponent to her feet, but Annie shot up with a huge uppercut to the jaw that snapped The Baroness head back! A bit groggy, The Baroness tried to recover from the unexpected uppercut to the jaw, but Annie was right there to continue her attack with a step-up enzuigiri!

The Baroness dropped to her knee, allowing Annie to come forward and spike The Baroness on her head with a low angle DDT! Annie back pressed against The Baroness to make the cover, but only got a two account! But when The Baroness lifted her shoulder off the mat, Annie grabbed her arm and turned The Baroness into a Fujiwara armbar!!

Feeling one of her go-to moves applied on her, The Baroness began writhing in pain as Annie wrenched back on the armbar. It took a few seconds, but The Baroness managed to reach the ropes, getting the referee to tell Annie to break the hold.

The match swung back in The Baroness favor when Annie went for her patent “Rough n Tumble” but The Baroness caught her legs and ripped her right back inside the ring! Annie hit her head hard off the canvas, allowing the Baroness to pull her tag team partner up, and drop her with the Snap DDT! The Baroness went for the cover…

… but only got a two!

The Baroness argued the count with the referee until she decided to rip Annie up by her hair and execute a double knee armbreaker! The Baroness immediately went for a cross armbreaker, but Annie pulled her arm away and caught the Baroness with a swift kick to the head as she was hunched over!

Annie scrambled up to her feet, measured the Baroness up, and executed a picture perfect wheelbarrow bulldog! Annie went for the cover…

… but only got another nearfall!

The crowd was into the fast paced action, cheering for Annie and jeering for The Baroness. The duo continued going move for move, couter for counter, until The Baroness went for “Dom’d” and Annie transitioned out of it! The Baroness attempted to move toward Annie, but Annie caught her partner with an unexpected “Sparkle Princess Special” for the win!

Winner via pinfall - Annie Zellor (15:12)

After the match was over, Annie celebrated her victory by throwing her hands up in the air and taking in the reaction fro the Japanese audience. Annie looked over at the recovering Crimson Baroness and helped her to her feet, but the Baroness instinctively pushed her away. Annie kept her distance until The Baroness gathered herself together and looked at Annie to say “Good fight, partner” before she exited the ring.

Annie continued to celebrate in the ring, but the camera focused on the devious grin plastered on the Baroness’s faces before GFP: Glory Cup - Night Six went to an advertisement.

We see Ricky Valero backstage with the GFP Openweight Championship slung over his shoulder. He appears confident and ready for his match, and he makes that clear by once again guaranteeing victory. He then shifts his focus to the GFP Tag Team Championships, confirming what Levi Chambers had previously announced: Levi and Ricky intended on challenging for the tag team gold. He followed up by declaring himself the next competitor to achieve the coveted Triple Throne, promising triumph for himself and Levi.

GLORY CUP - ROUND TWO
Jackson Magnum vs. OOKAMI no CHI

The match started with Jax barreling across the ring and into OOKAMI with a forearm shot as the bell rang. Jax started to put the boots to OOKAMI before finally backing away for a second allowing OOKAMI to get to her feet. As she did Jax threw a super kick at her which she side stepped only to deliver a roaring elbow to the side of his head dropping him to the canvas in a heap. “Thee Prince” began to stagger to his feet but just as he did OOKAMI unleashed a running Hurricanrana that took him straight back to the mat. Jax again pulled himself to his feet but as he does he’s floored this time by a no-hands springboard dropkick. OOKAMI quickly went into a cover after the early onslaught getting a quick two count.

This time it was OOKAMI pulling Jax to his feet, delivering a few forearms along the way. Irish Whipping him into the corner she followed him in with a knee to the gut. As she moves out of the way Jax hits the ground holding his ribs in pain. Without hesitation she hits the ropes and rolls into a senton splash before going into another cover. Getting another long two count. OOKAMI was in firm control and by the dazed expression on Jax’s face even the crowd was beginning to acknowledge the fact that Jax was in deep trouble. But as OOKAMI lifted him to his feet Jax managed to push her back and drill her with a superkick which floor her. Jax fell to the canvas as well as he went for the cover. OOKAMI kicked out at two as Jax looked over at the ref shaking his head.

As OOKAMI began to get to her feet Jax made his ascent to the top rope behind her waiting. As she turned he leaped off the top rope going for a hurricanrana but OOKAMI managed to transition it into a powerbomb that left Jax gasping for air on the canvas below. It didn’t last long though as OOKAMI quickly reached down and locked in a texas cloverleaf to Jax after turning him over. Jax screamed in pain, his face turning purple during the hold. As he started to pull on his hair and bite down on his lip to the point it started to bleed to try to prevent himself from tapping as he slowly tried to make his way to the bottom rope. Finally reaching out he barely caught the rope making OOKAMI break the hold.

As she did she moved away from him measuring him as he started to get to his feet as he does she lunges forward and connects with a spear sending him straight to the mat hooking the near side leg for the cover. Jax managed to roll his shoulder off the canvas before the three count though. OOKAMI didn’t waste anytime getting to his feet but she’s immediately met with a standing dropkick. Jax then began to lay into OOKAMI with stiff kicks as she laid on the ground. Holding his sore after each shot to OOKAMI’S head. Reaching down he lifted her straight into a belly to belly suplex and went for the cover. OOKAMI kicked out after a quick two count. Which made Jax lose his cool even more reigning down right hands to the side of her head. Lifting her off the mat he slapped her in the face twice before OOKAMI responded with another roaring elbow, this one not connecting as well but it still send Jax back into the ropes.

As Jax laid against the ropes OOKAMI sprang forward looking for a bicycle kick she calls “Hot Buttered Concussion” but Jax managed to duck out of the way at the last possible second. As OOKAMI missed her leg got straddled on the top rope, enabling Jax to roll her up from behind. Jax rolled her up not only hooking the tights but also using the ropes for leverage to get the three count.

As the bell rang Jax raisedhis hand in victory laughing at OOKAMI. OOKAMI tells the ref what happened as the crowd boo’s the decision. OOKAMI continued to plead her case Jax just laughed at her. That was until OOKAMI turned her attention away from the ref and to Magnum. She cornered him and began to unload with repeated machine gun chops to the chest of Jax until he hit the floor and managed to roll away and literally run towards the backstage area.

Winner via pinfall - Jackson Magnum (10:17)

GLORY CUP - ROUND TWO
Ricky Valero vs. Huracan Rojo

The match started with Rojo extending his hand to the Openweight champion who refused to shake Rojo’s hand simply laughing off the gesture by the luchador. They started circling around each other locking up in the middle of the ring. The power struggle continued until Ricky decided it was pointless as both wrestlers seemed to be evenly matched on that regard. So Ricky turned to speed, hitting Rojo with a blur of kicks and punches before running towards the ropes looking to hit a clothesline. Rojo ducked under the clothesline and hit Ricky with a Pelé Kick that sent the champion to the mat. Rojo seeing this as an opportunity covered Ricky looking for the pinfall, but he only got a one count on that attempt.

Even with that Rojo didn’t drop the offensive, choosing to get Ricky up on his feet and throwing him towards the turnbuckle and then hitting the champion with Poetry in Motion. The rising star showed a lot of momentum in this match, catching the veteran wrestler by surprise, as it was obvious Ricky Valero wasn’t expecting this kind of fight to be within Rojo. As Ricky stumbled around the mat a bit, Rojo got to the second rope looking to hit Ricky with a Knee Strike, but the champion avoided the attack hitting Rojo with the PinnaclePlex and covering him for a pinfall that only got to two as Rojo kicked out of the cover.

Ricky hit the mat in a bit of rage, but started to measure the masked warrior as Rojo started to get up on his feet. When Rojo turned around he ate a Superkick from Valero who dropped over him looking for the count again… and again Ricky only got a two count as the resilient Rojo refuses to stay down. Valero screamed that to him repeatedly as he started hitting Rojo with a series of standing leg drops that Ricky calls Leg Drops of Jupiter. Valero then proceeded to hit Rojo repeatedly with a series of punches, but Rojo started to get up and responded each punch thrown by Ricky with a punch of his own.

Both wrestlers embroiled in a fist fight right in the middle of the ring and the crowd loved every minute of it. Ricky then tried to catch Rojo by surprise using an Irish Whip, looking to send him to the ropes, but Rojo countered the move clutching Valero’s arm and dragging him right into EL JUICIO! (Jawbreaker Lariat). Rojo dropped over Valero’s body pinning him… but only got a two count. Rojo sat down in surprise next to Ricky’s seemingly lifeless body. Nobody could believe Ricky survived the move.

Rojo then looked to the turnbuckle and climbed it. The crowd started to chant as they knew what was going through Rojo’s mind at the moment. Huracán signaled to the sky and jumped looking to hit Valero with Categoría 5 (450 Splash), but Valero rolled out of the way and Rojo hit the mat hard. Realizing this was the only chance he got, Ricky hit Rojo with a Superkick as he was kneeling. Ricky went for the cover…. But only got another two count.

The Openweight champion started to get frustrated by Rojo’s resiliency and as if he just got an epiphany Valero looked at Rojo deviously. He approached the young luchador with a hunter’s look on his face and clawed his hand right under Rojo’s mask ripping it off of his face. Huracán rolled on the floor covering his face as the crowd started to boo, the referee went to check on Rojo as Ricky got the mask up in pride and then dropped to his knees, rolled Rojo over and put the cover on him, while Rojo covered his face. The count got to three as Rojo knew any move would reveal his face.

As Ricky stood up after winning the match, he spat on the mask and then threw it to Rojo leaving the ring, while the referee handed Rojo the mask.

Winner via pinfall - Ricky Valero (11:29)

FATAL FOUR WAY MATCH
Reville Kaiser vs. Merlot Ayano vs. Yuji Hirota vs. Shouta Kurosawa

As the bell rang four competitors circled each other. Each staring each other until Shouta hit a shoot kick to the sternum of Yuji out of nowhere. Instead of going at Shouta he went straight at Reville but is met by a knee the head. Reville went to capitalize on it but is floored by Merlot who connected with a jumping ddt. Merlot then raced over to Yuji who had managed to get to his feet in the corner and nailed him with a Yakuza kick that sent him tumbling out of the corner to the ground below. Merlot turned only to find Shouta waiting for her with a standing dropkick that sent her down to the mat. As Yuji was making his way to his feet Reville came in behind him and snaps off an inverted powerslam, flipping him over he made a cover but Shouta kicked Reville off at the count of one.

The match had broken into utter chaos throughout it, with each competitor having their moments. Shouta took control for a bit with a hurricanrana to Reville, then a leg lariat to a rising Merlot, then rushing over to Yuji he planted him with an enziguri. It was only when Shouta went for the “Kurosawa Clutch” on Yuji that he was dropped from behind with a reverse shining wizard from Merlot that sent him down. Merlot then went for a sling blade on Reville but he ducked under and sent her flying down with a tiger suplex. Getting a two count before she kicked out.

They separated into two grounds. Reville with Merlot and Shouta with Yuji. Yuji hit a belly to belly on Shouta grounding him. Allowing him to lock in a guillotine choke on Shouta as Reville and Merlot were exchanging blows on the other side of the ring with Merlot hitting a 540 kick that dropped him to the mat. She went for a cover but only got a two count. As the ref goes over to check on Shouta, Merlot saw him lying there almost out of it and rushed over kicking Yuji to save the match for herself. Pulling Yuji to his feet slowly she manages to toss him outside of the ring. She waited on him to get to his feet only to go flying to outside taking Yuji out with a suicide dive leaving them both laid out on the ground.

The two in the ring got to their feet looking each other over before they began going at it with Reville connecting with a sambo suplex before going for a cover. He got a long two count, but didn’t seem discouraged at all as he lifted Shouta to his feet delivering some forearm shivers along the way. Shouta was staggered allowing Kaiser to go for the “Knee of Justice” but Shouta moved out of the way then connected with a Kurosawa knockout (tornado enziguri) to the side of Reville’s head. While this was going on Merlot and Yuji had fought their way up onto the apron.

Jax rushed the ring as all of this was going on with the KTV title in hand. As the referee was trying to get Merlot and Yuji into the ring Jax jumped up onto the apron lining up his shoot on Reville. As Shouta held up Reville for the shot Jax charged ready to hit Kaiser but at the last second he ducked and the KTV title went bouncing off Shouta’s head sending him to the ground hard. While this was going on Yuji and Merlot both hit the ring apron hard as Yuji slammed Merlot headfirst into the apron with a brainbuster. Jax hopped off the apron clearly livid at his mistake as Kaiser goes for the cover on Shouta getting the three count. After the cover Kaiser looked out at Magnum motioning towards the title belt. As Magnum clung to it shaking his head no.

Winners via pinfall - Reville Kaiser (16:31)
