It was a grueling match, to say the least. There was only one chance to take him down, and when it came to, Sophie made an amateur mistake. As much as she likes to believe that her heritage makes her on par with the vast majority of the roster. She was still relatively new in wrestling. She hadn't held gold, so she knew not the pride of being a champion. She has found herself faltering in every pinnacle moment of her career thus far. The Interbrand Ring Match? She may have lusted after it for the ride to Destiny. But when it came time, she found herself outside of the ring, looking up at Joey Miles with it. She cursed herself for it. She later cursed herself for losing when Kaiden Hawke stole it from him. She reached an expletive peak when Joey Miles left it behind for a hiatus. Crowned Royalty? She made the mistake of letting Fran weasel her way away. She ran around and then capitalized on the count. As much as Sophia despises (and even kind of likes her, in Sophie's realm of mind) the bitch, she had to realize that she was just outclassed that night. Fran's intelligent; she hides it behind her erratic language and silly antics. Another lesson learned, she mused. The GO Briefcase Match? Once again, her fingertips were upon it, but she was then on the ring mat, looking up at Kol. He said he was coming to do it and she couldn't fight destiny. She sighed as she remembered the walk backstage. Just another opportunity to advance herself out of her hands and into a much more desiring individual. And now the All or Nothing Series. She fought hard, making a name for herself throughout this tournament. People began to rally behind her. HKW began to put up polls with her on it. She headlined a HOP, where she defeated her worst enemy cleanly and made him suffer. She wasn't the black sheep of the series. She was a favorite. People cheered for her to win. People actually cheered loudly as she entered the ring on many nights. People wanted to see her. People wanted to know her. People wanted her to be champion. But tonight, Elijah Black just saw something she didn't. He saw the one mistake that sealed the deal. Sophie only recognized it as she was making the proverbial walk of shame backstage. She went into her locker room and sat down the bench. She let out a breath, and peered up. Tonight was meant to be her night. She could blame it on her eyepatch. She rubbed a finger against the fine leather. She wouldn't. She got some vengeance upon Harbinger, a monster who tried to assassinate her career. It wasn't much to the public eye, but she smiled gently at it. But then she frowned, remembering that her Lady was put in jeopardy because she didn't have the strength to take out Harbinger. She shook her head, shaking away the thoughts of remorse. But they crept back in just as quickly as they left. She needed a release, a distraction, something. When she was ready to pack up and leave the arena, a knock came upon her door. Sophie looked up to see someone she wasn't expecting. ARTEMIS KAISER: Hiya there, Sophie. Covered in scratches and bruises, and hobbling with a slight limp, Sophie's older sister, Artemis came in. She carried a crowbar in one hand. Sophie peered behind her to see Scarlet Flint standing there. Jaxon Queen moved on past her. Sophie then recalled that Sine Mora and Jaxon Queen were in the building tonight. They were out for blood against Project Continuum. That was put to rest easily by Emilio Vialpando. In any regard, Artemis took a hesitant seat next to her sister. She put the crowbar down and moved the hair from out of her face. Sophie looked at her with confusion. ARTEMIS KAISER: I watched your match. Those few words made Sophie grimace. ARTEMIS KAISER: And I can't say that I'm happy with the result. Sophie grimaced further. ARTEMIS KAISER: You had it all in your hands. Gosh, Father told you about that set-up. You should have known better. Got too much into the moment. Artemis berating Sophie didn't help the latter's mood. In fact, she had a look on her face akin to an ashamed puppy. ARTEMIS KAISER: But...I can't say that I'm not proud of you for your performance. Sophie's face switched emotion again. ARTEMIS KAISER: You made it so far in your time here in HKW. You corrected a lot of the mistakes that you've made before. You have this new fire to you that Father and the rest of the family is proud of. You have a great mentor, even if she's a loony bitch. But you did good for yourself. And as much as I could criticize your mistakes, I know that you only made one tonight. And you know that. Artemis shook her head, before pulling her sister in a hug. ARTEMIS KAISER: But you're going to be even stronger for that. I saw what you said on Twitter. You said that Year 2 of Sophie El is going to be better than anything this year. Your Sophomore Year, Sophie, it's going to be imperative that you keep pushing on. You won't make the same mistakes twice. You'll get what you want. And you'll be a bigger star than I am in this company. She let go of Sophie, who was resisting a small smile. ARTEMIS KAISER: That being said, you need to realize something. You're not a soldier. You're not Lady Magdalena's tool of vengeance. She may not use you like that, but you see yourself as such. Yes, she's your "Lady" or whatever, but you know what you want. You know what you want to do. You need to go out and take what is yours. You're a Kaiser, Sophie, not a Lasiewicz. You conquer above everything. Artemis stood up, brushing off his pants. She heaved up her crowbar before heading for the door. ARTEMIS KAISER: You want the Hybrid Championship for yourself. You want to beat down Harbinger for yourself. You want to eviscerate Jackson Magnum like the little worm he is? You do that for YOURSELF. So go find Perello and get yourself into Hybrid Hell. And you show the whole world that Sophie El, Sophie Kaiser, is going to be SubVersion's future. I don't want to see you slipping up again. Sophie and Artemis shared a simple look. ARTEMIS KAISER: Go forth and conquer, little sister. Scarlet and I have to go now. We don't need Team SubVersion coming to try to mess up for just talking to the First Daughter of SubVersion now. With a wave, Artemis walked off. Sophie was left there, with a blank look on her face. She peered down at her hand for a moment. SOPHIE EL: Go forth and conquer... She clenched her hand into a fist, feeling the heat in her hand. SOPHIE EL: Yeah, I guess I ought to do that, huh? Not for the Lady. Not for anyone. But for me. She paused. SOPHIE EL: I'm the main character of my story, not a side character for someone else's. Without a second thought, she stood and left her locker room. She had to go speak to a man about a certain match. |

Kehlani Ray was walking past the trash bin she tossed the flyer Jackie gave her into. KEHLANI RAY: Oh my god. She peeped through her hand looking inside the trash bin only to see that someone had unraveled the flyer. KEHLANI RAY: That is terrible. Such a meanie bear. She shook her head. KEHLANI RAY: I’m going to draw something for him because that flyer is ridiculous. This looks bad. A crew member was coming to take the trash out and sees the flyer in the trash can. Looking up at Kehlani then back at the flyer the only thing he could do was laugh. KEHLANI RAY: Awww, that's not funny. She folded her arms together as the worker continues to laugh hysterically. KEHLANI RAY: Oh come on now. You can stop laughing now. CREW WORKER: It’s not that bad. Just remove the mustache and it’ll be alright. Kehlani shook her head and rolled her eyes just a little bit. KEHLANI RAY: But what about the…. She shook her head. KEHLANI RAY: Nevermind. I’m just going to go now. Kehlani walks away as the worker looks at the flyer once more only to laugh at it. |

Tiffany Jay is standing backstage alongside Beth Keaton. The latter is gingerly rubbing her head and neck with one hand, while forcing a meek smile as the bubbly interivewer addresses her. TIFFANY JAY: Beth, a hard fought match in your debut, one which ultimately didn't go the way you wanted. Beth gives a short, earnest, nod of her head to agree. BETH KEATON: Yeah, I wanted to win. TIFFANY JAY: That said, you had the Golden Opportunity briefcase holder on the ropes several times out there, and looked close to pulling off a huge debut victory here on SubVersion. Do you take positives out of this match, given that? Keaton takes a moment to consider her question. BETH KEATON: Well, it was great to be out there in front of an energetic crowd, and hopefully put on a good show. I hope that, and feel like I was able to show I can go toe to toe with some of the top people around here. So there's positives, but I'm not really satisfied with it. Don't get me wrong, I love wrestling, and the rush of being in a big match again was great. But that's why I can't just be happy with having a good showing as an underdog, or whatever. This isn't boxing, or MMA, you can't win on points by ... She stops to crinkle her nose, looking genuinely concerned. BETH KEATON: .. It isn't, right? I got cuttered on my head pretty hard. Tiffany shakes her head, and Beth breathes a sigh of relief. BETH KEATON: Good! Which is what makes wrestling in my opinion, the best combat sport out there, no offense to any of those others ones. You can't win by going to the judges, there has to be a ... wait, where was I going with that? Tiffany smiles politely and shrugs, and Beth shrugs as well. BETH KEATON: Oh well! Anyways, I think I wanted to say that close isn't the same as winning, and while Coal with a K is a great wrestler, I did let an opportunity slip by me. I don't think loving wrestling is just about wanting to go out there and have entertaining matches. That's part of it, but it's about wanting to be able to face the best and test yourself. With these big crossover shows and Divine Supremacy coming up, getting a win here would have put me in the exact spot to do that and not get lost in the shuffle or anything. TIFFANY JAY: Well, you have actually been added to the Interbrand Cup Battle Royal from what I understand, so that's a big chance for you right there! This was clearly news to Beth, although it isn't exactly hard to catch her off guard. BETH KEATON: Neat! Gonna do the Beth I can to bring that Cup to SubVersion! A beat skips. BETH KEATON: So how many mystery spots is that left, anyways? TIFFANY JAY: Just one now. BETH KEATON: Hmmm, well hopefully they get announced soon, otherwise that could be bad news for me. Question mark has a really good record in these types of things. Anyways, I uh really gotta get some ice if you don't mind. TIFFANY JAY: Of course, thanks for the time! With that, Beth heads off -- albeit a bit slow after her hardfought match against the larger Kol -- and out of sight. |

| Jackson Magnum | Jul 25 2016, 06:00 PM Post #5 |

WE ARE LIVE!!! 7:00pm 7/25/2016 Darkened letters appear on the screen as if it’s prologue to a movie. The sound of thunder and lightening are heard in the background as the dark words, slowly transition into a smokey grey color. Ye ever been lost in a moment so completely tat ye forget who ye are? What ye stand fer? Ye ever watched as udders try ta claim wat is yers? Et’s a funny ting, not so much ov a haha type ov funny more ov thee ironic type ov humor. Thee type tat sticks wit ye, thee humor tat in thee face ov adversity makes ye reflect on yer exact reasoning fer existence. Tat’s thee type ov humor I am speaking ov here. As the words dissipate into nothingness almost crumbling away before vanishing we see Jackson Magnum standing amongst a light sprinkling of rain. Jackson Magnum: If I believe in cliche tings, I’d say tat there is a storm coming, er maybe I’d warn ov the possible perils ov Hybrid Hell fer all those envolved. However, I find meself ta be less mysterious and more honest these days. I’ve found tat tings tat effectively crippled me en thee past, are just minor details on me journey ta someting so incredibly spectacular, tat no one sees et coming. Et’s why as Hybrid Hell rapidly approaches I find meself, okay wit thee trooth, tat me head es on thee chopping block. Tat everyone wants me ta be extinguished during Hybrid Helll two. Et wasn’t tat long ago, tat everyone en Hybrid Hell number one wanted thee same fecking ting. Jackson pauses as he leans back letting his face catch a few of the raindrops on his face, the rain intensified some as he looks back to the camera. JACKSON MAGNUM: But I’m scared ov ye right lady Magdalena. Thee guy who openly called out Felicity Banks, Jason Mentez, Jinzai, and Hunter Werth es shaking en his boots when Lady Magdalena and Sophie El’s names are mentioned. Tat’s wat ye want people ta believe? Yeah, ye need ta realize someting, I’ve gone ta war wit thee very foundation ov tis company, and never blinked. Ye don’t scare me, and ye don’t entimidate thee hybrid champion. Ye just disappoint me. Tat being said, I’m going ta stop tawking bout ye, and git ta yer little side bitch. Jackson laughs as he makes his way acoss the parking lot. JACKSON MAGNUM: Sophie El, thee little bitch tat could? Right? Tat’s wat ye’ve kind ov label yerself. Ye brag about beating me, saying yer going ta take me title, take me head, and going ta be a star. Et’s pathetic en truth, not because yer not talented, no ye have ability en thee ring. But the truth es ye will never be as important as ye tink ye are. Look at how ye’ve treated yerself since coming here. Yer not the star ov the show, yer always someone else’s side bitch. When ye first got here ye needed Luke Wisia’s endorsement fer anyone ta take ye seriously. Even tat wasn’t enough fer ye though, riding Luke’s coattails did little fer ye on Subversion. Sure some took ye serious, but en thee end et wasn’t enough. So enstead ov making trying ta et yerself, ye clung onta Lady Magdalena’s cape. Ye became her little mentee. Ye willing rode second fiddle yet ageen. But ye know tat, yer not the hero ov this story. Yer sacrifice, yer thee costume en thee background, tat batman will look as he laments wat thee world has become. Tat’s et, even ef ye git a starring role one day, no one will give a feck. Ye’ve made yerself inta a sidekick, and et’s all ye trust yerself ta be. Et’s why ye need ta be en Hybrid Hell two, so bad. The rain starts to come down hard as Jackson smile vanishes replaced by a more stoic, yet sinister look. JACKSON MAGNUM: Ye can’t earn et on yer own, ye’ve proven et time and time ageen. Ye proved et in thee All or NUTTIN series. But hey, yer Lady is proud ov ye, so tat should make up fer ye being a total and complete failure en life. Tink about et fer a moment, ye can’t earn this opportunity Sophie. Either Magdalena er meself hafe ta put ye in this match. I know she will, because Lady Magdalena knows wat I know, yer her side bitch. Thee sidekick no one fecking care about on any level. Tey fast forward through yer scenes so tey can git back ta thee action. Ye need et though, because en yer heart witout thee Luke Wisia’s er Lady Magdalena’s ov this world, ye’d be nutting. Yer just a gymnast doing flips en front ov twenty people at thee circus. Sucks doesn’t et? Ta know yer not good enough fer this opportunity. Ta know yer nutting more tan a tag-a-long cunt. Ta know tat even ef ye were ta win me belt, et makes no difference. Because even wit a title around yer waist, ye’ll still be saying ‘Yes me lady’, and ‘no me lady’. Ye’ll always be thee side kick, never thee star, but ye’ve cast yerself inta tat role. Not me, tink about et this way. Jackson slicks his hair back as he walks up to a building and enters, as he goes through the doors we can see it’s a gym. JACKSON MAGNUM: When I came inta this world ov wrestling, I had no family wit me back, no one liked me, and even thee companies owners didn’t tink I’d make et a month. I fought through more adversity tan ye have yer entire career, from thee jump. I did et all by meself, I made me name on me own, sure ye could bring up Harbringer, but would anyone say I’m his sidekick? Nah, hardly, I’m thee star here, bigger tan ye and Magdalena put tagether. But ye see tat thee difference, I don’t need approval, and ye beg fer et. Yer hoping ye make Luke and Magdalena proud, while I’m making meself proud. So go on, beg Magdalena fer yer chance ta shine. Et amuses me more because, ye make fun ov and takes shots at Harbinger fer being a bitch who only does me bidding. Yer en thee exact same position fer Lady Magdalena. Jackson stands at the front of the gym hitting the lights as it illuminates the room. In front of him on the other side of the room are replica champions, The KTV title, the Glory Championship, and the Hybrid championship. JACKSON MAGNUM: Ye complain that he run ta me aid, yet when Magdalena was en trouble versus me, ye did thee same ting, ensuring she won thee belt. Et’s yer job as thee sidekick, et’s all ye know. Yer thee exact same ting as Harbinger, wit one exception. He knows wat he is, he accepts et, and all he wants ta do is hurt people. Ye want ta be thee star, but just don’t have et en ye. So how am I supposed ta believe yer going ta take a title from me, when ye don’t even believe en yerself? Jackson walks over grabbing the Hybrid Championship off the wall, then slings it over his shoulder. JACKSON MAGNUM: So go back ta yer previous life, go back ta metaphorically sucking Luke’s dick, when he’s not ta busy gitting et sucked fer real at thee traphouse. Go back ta life ov irrelevance tat ye’ve been living since day one. But ye were right about one ting, no one like me, but I’d rather be thee guy tat everyone hates, Than thee bitch, no one respects. The sounds of cracking thunder is heard in the background, as Jackson bows and the video goes to black. |

At the conclusion of Subversion, the cameraman catches up with one half of the Mariposa Venenosa member, Lyza Reyes outside of the venue. She is already in her street clothes, sticking to light layers. Interviewer, Tiffany Jay catches up to her, seemingly out of breath as she’s been chasing talent throughout the balmy night. Tiffany Jay: Hey, Lyza! Congrats on winning your match tonight with Sofia. What’s going through your mind right now? Lyza Reyes: Whew, Tiffany...We needed this. The Pretty Committee are more than just eye candy, but they lack the pure veneno, that can only be found in the rarest of species. Let this serve as a lesson that we are beyond “basic,” and their looks do not guarantee wins. Tiffany Jay: What do you have to say about your next opponents? Lyza Reyes: Hm, I’ve been paying attention to those brackets, so if I’m computing things right, we’re set to face Distorted Archetypes next? Yeah, that’s it. I’m looking forward to it, in all honesty. Cyrus and Amber have been in promotions that I have ties to, past and present. Despite inter-promotional events, I never had the pleasure of facing Cyrus or Amber. When the stars align, they form something beautiful, and worthwhile. Out of all the planets out there, Planet HKW will be the place to gather for…the views. Tiffany Jay: Is this the part where y-- Sofia King: Ay ay ay, callate. Sofia chimes in, just making it to the parking lot to meet up with her tag team partner. She shoots a nasty look at Tiffany Jay as though she were a chatty patron in a movie theatre. She then nods at Lyza, letting her continue with what she was about to say. Lyza Reyes: ...Ultra. Sofia King: That’s it! Let the ‘r’ roll off your tongue, mamita. Las Mariposas have taken out la basura, and now we move on to a team that is worth our FREAKING time... Before Tiffany could proceed to another question, a black SUV pulls up on the pick up/drop off section of the parking lot. The “Uber” sticker catches Lyza’s eye, confirming her source of transportation has arrived. Sofia King: As promised, querida Lyza, I’m going to take you to an amazing club to celebrate. It’s no Felony, but it’ll have to do en este momento. Showing no signs of hesitation, Lyza shrugs her shoulders, and lets the driver do his thing with opening the door for them. They enter the vehicle, leaving Tiffany Jay by her lonesome as the scene fades. Edited by Aria Banks, Jul 25 2016, 11:46 PM.

She hadn’t competed this night. It was an ever so strange feeling, to be in the arena filled to the brim with screaming fans and to simply be one of them, to not be part of the action but for a fleeting moment, cruelly snatched away. Many dreams and visions had been snatched away that very night. The chance for vengeance, the chance for redemption, the chance to witness a dear friend finally attain what they had sought out for so long. She wasn’t quite sure what was the most bitter pill to swallow, the one in which her nemesis escaped her eagle’s talons, or seeing the despair on her tag team partner’s face as they hurried back through that curtain, face masking a heart heavy with sorrow. She only saw her from the distance, and she longed to comfort the young woman who had become not only a protégé, but a woman that she had grown to become fond of, looking at her as one of her own. And she was the one connection she had left to the daughter she abandoned so long ago. Her greatest regret. She had allowed Sophie El some peace, and time for reflection on the night. The Black Swan always felt those moments in the locker room, those cold, lonely moments after the final fall were the most important of all. Although sorrowful, although full of anger, they were what truly made you who you truly are. She would have time to console her later, to give her sage-like wisdom in wake of unfortunate failure. This, of course, in due time. She was certain she had seen her sister prowling the halls, and of course little Ana would be sure to be near. The time was not right to approach either of them. “Time is all you have. Time is all we are” her daughter often said. A daughter who despised her every move. LADY MAGDALENA: Harbinger… She changed the subject in her mind before it consumed her, returning to her earlier thought. If it wasn’t for the leather faced monstrosity, she could have, WOULD have ended this tragic affair this very night. She had Magnum where she wanted him, but he had come more prepared than she had anticipated. She had to be more prepared herself. Hybrid Hell was looming. BOBBY B. BARABBAS: It is hardly a surprise, my Lady. He has been involved in this from the very start. We spoke of as much when this match was first announced. Her manager was pouring her a glass of fine Merlot wine as she lounged upon the velvet loveseat in the private box overlooking the empting arena. He limped over awkwardly, using a dragon topped cane to help keep his balance. His leg was still troubling him, the poor thing. Fiercely loyal, her Robert was, and he risked his own life for both her and Sophia. She admired him for that. LADY MAGDALENA: So he has started by moving a pawn across the board… Maybe it is time I move a more significant piece myself. BOBBY B. BARABBAS: I would pray for patience before you make such a rash decision, my Lady. She sipped on the fine claret as Bobby hobbled across the room to fetch himself a glass, though her wandering thoughts on her next move were brought to confusion, followed by a confident cackle of laughter at the seriousness of his retort. LADY MAGDALENA: Rash? Or no, dear Robert. I am quite certain of my first choice. It only makes sense. I will fight his flickering flame with dragon fire. BOBBY B. BARABBAS: You have many options to choose from, sweet Lady. Many who will fight alongside you in your quest. Those that will aid you not only gain vengeance, but stand by your side as you reclaim what should be yours. She smiled sweetly in his direction, a hand on her heart at the sentiment. LADY MAGDALENA: Sir Robert… if it was not for that leg of yours I would surely choose you. You have had as much to do with this as anyone else, and you deserve to have this chance… but you are in no state to compete. I am ever so sorry, but I cannot choose you with so much at risk. BOBBY B. BARABBAS: Then take my Ramsay. A monster fitting to deal with a monster. You know what he is capable of, and you know he is fiercely loyal, both to me and to you. He is an ideal candidate. She sat up in her seat, taking another delicious sip as she waved off her manager’s comment, bemused at how eager, even desperate he was to let his behemoth loose. LADY MAGDALENA: Ramsay is a beast, there is no question of that. But he does not have a Hard Knox contract, Sir Robert, nor do I believe management would be willing to gift him one for such an occasion. The new Vice President may well be aware of him, and that more than likely why he would not agree. It is a sweet offer, Sir Robert, a tempting one indeed. But you know for certain who my first pick is. BOBBY B. BARABBAS: There must be someone else, someone who is loyal and just, someone who you can depend on in this match. To say he was so clever, The Fair Lady found it hysterical that he had seemingly forgotten the most important piece in her puzzle. Such a sense of humour the Pied Piper had. LADY MAGDALENA: There is no one more loyal to this cause than my dear Sophia. She has been at my side every step of the way, through all of this insanity. She deserves the chance to get her hands on Magnum just as much as I do. She is like family to me, and a dear friend. I wouldn’t want anybody else by my side. BOBBY B. BARABBAS: You make a grave mistake, my Lady. This confused the Black Swan, angered her even, enough for her to stand and put the wine down on a nearby counter. Her arms crossed beneath her bosom, her feet tapping impatiently upon the carpeted flooring LADY MAGDALENA: A mistake? Robert, I do not understand. BOBBY B. BARABBAS: Do not choose Sophie. It will be your undoing. Her face grew a deathly pale, her mouth dropping as Barabbas’ stare, honest, almost with tears in his eyes cut through her. LADY MAGDALENA: Do not be so foolish, Robert. What has brought this on? You adore Sophia. You talk so often, you’ve managed her. You threw yourself down a flight of stairs to keep her safe. BOBBY B. BARABBAS: I did that for you. Only for you and your family, not for her. And I beg you now, as your advisor, as your manager and as your friend… do NOT pick Sophie El to be part of your team for Hybrid Hell. Confusion and shock gave way to anger as she threw her arms up in the air in protest, pushing past the Portlander and marching past him, almost flooring the dark suited man in the process. LADY MAGDALENA: Madness! BOBBY B. BARABBAS: Is it madness, my Lady? Or are these the truest words I have ever spoken? She halted abruptly, an urge to at least hear out this delusion from the sooth talking devil. BOBBY B. BARABBAS: I stand before you now, broken in body, but my mind is razor sharp and purer than ever before. You must listen to my council, my Lady, before all you have done, all you have worked for, everything you have sought for and fought for in this company over the past nine months all turns to ashes in your mouth. She felt his breath on the back of her neck, knowing he was right behind her, the air cool and the words digging straight into her troubled mind, bypassing her ears entirely. BOBBY B. BARABBAS: Have you not paid attention to her words, her tweets, her rolled together speeches spewed onto the screen? Since the very day you had that title stolen from around your waist, she has spoken them. Since the very day you were robbed of what is rightfully yours, she has tweeted them. Since the very day your dreams were shattered by the unjust hand of a false hero, she has spewed them out. She turned, her body quivering to his words as they began to take hold, bringing a fear to her that made her shake. He dropped awkwardly to one knee, kissing her lightly on the hand as he pleaded with her. BOBBY B. BARABBAS: That SHE wants to beat Magnum. That SHE wishes to face him. That SHE wishes to take that title for herself. Over and over and over again she has stated this, argued this, demanded this. That she should be the one, not you, to face him for that title. The Pied Piper of Portland’s smile grew, infectious as ever, but she would not follow suit, as his words and his eyes seemed to hypnotize her, to bewitch her, to take control of her. BOBBY B. BARABBAS: It has been an obsession of hers for quite some time. To take your place, to take your chances, to take YOUR title. And with this new ruling, that any of the six can win YOUR prize. Why do you think she wants to be in this match? Why do you think she craves it, begs for it, pleas for it? He stood, using the cane to help him up as both the physical and mental pain ripped through him. BOBBY B. BARABBAS: She wants to take your place. How many times has she asked to side with you in this battle? How many times requested it? “None” was what passed through her mind. She tried to speak, but no words would come out. BOBBY B. BARABBAS: How many times has she declared to the world that she WILL be in this battle? How many times has she told the world that she will WIN this battle? How many times has she told the world that SHE will be champion. Taking Sophie El into that hell with you will be the worst mistake you have ever made. You remember that match with her well, do you not? How you had her beaten, at your mercy, at the very brink of passing out. And then Magnum appeared, and you turned your attention to him. He ran, as he does, and in that moment she attacked. Again. And again. And again. An animalistic side that you have only witnessed once before, but from another. And with that, she took your chances of winning the All or Nothing series. Who is to say that will not happen at Hybrid Hell? She shook her head meekly, refusing to accept his speech. She could not. She would not. But was he right? Was this true? Was her greatest ally her worst enemy? She took a backstep, trying to shake the thought from her fragile and broken mind. “He can’t be right. He won’t be right. What has brought this on? He adores her.” BOBBY B. BARABBAS: And why not? History has a strange urge to repeat itself. What is going to stop her from finishing you off when you have Magnum on his knees? What is going to stop her stabbing you in the back when you are least expecting it? Caesar had his Brutus, Charles the First his Cromwell; will Lady Magdalena have her Sophie El? If you choose her, she will betray you… She turned away. “Enough,” she tried to say, but nothing would come out. BOBBY B. BARABBAS: … just like she betrayed your daughter… “Ana…” He was right. She had. As cruel and as fierce as she did. If not worse. She had given her up before the circus girl could remember. Sophia had broken her heart with full knowledge and a memory everlasting. But Ana had taken Sophia back. She had forgiven her. BOBBY B. BARABBAS: … twice. He was right again. But that didn’t stop her turning suddenly, an open palm striking him across the face that floored the cripple, sending him tumbling to the ground with a furious thud, cane and all. She reached for the door, her blood boiling, her temper rising and hell running through her veins. BOBBY B. BARABBAS: She is not a Lasiewicz, my Lady. It is time you stopped treating her as one. She is a Kaiser through and through. And if you select her for Hybrid Hell, it will be your undoing. All you can trust is blood. Your blood, and blood offered to you. Kaiser’s do not offer. They take. And you will discover that the hard way if you follow this path. When you step into this kennel of Hades, your team must become Cerberus. Three headed and single minded in one goal. You remove two heads and all you have is a dog ready to be put down. Think well, my Lady. Think well. She stormed out of the room, trying to ignore his musings, but they scratched and clawed like a rapid monkey upon her back, digging in deep and eating her alive. BOBBY B. BARABBAS: Find your brother… Find him, and take your revenge. “Andreas…” was the name that crossed her mind as she left the cripple upon the floor, his words screaming out after her, chasing her down, hunting her, attacking her, feeding her. Could he be right? |

As Nina Stokes departed from the win, Michael Alexander lay on the mat, looking up at the lights. A laugh burst out of the prone wrestler before he leaned up, looking over at the ref. REFEREE: You lost, Michael. Hearing the referee confirm to him that he lost, he simply shook his head and laughed again. MICHAEL ALEXANDER: Yea, I know. She pulled one out of her ass at the last second. She escaped, that's all. He looked up at the referee, signifying that she beat him by "this much". MICHAEL ALEXANDER: I've got her number though. It's game time. The wrestler climbed to his feet and slid out of the ring, not looking any worse for wear. As he made his way up the ramp, he could be seen jawing with the people to both sides, who were jeering him all the way up to the stage. Michael stopped and turned around, motioning at his waist. MICHAEL ALEXANDER: That title is mine! Waving the crowd off, he turned and disappeared through the curtain. The dull roar of the crowd could still be heard from the back as Michael made his way toward the locker room area. A few cameramen came into view, prompting Michael to stop in his tracks, peering over at them. An idea was forming in his head as he approached the nearest one. MICHAEL ALEXANDER: You better hope that camera is rolling. You see that shit out there? That right there was Nina Stokes pulling some shit out of her ass at the last possible second. She snatched victory from the jaws of defeat but see, there is a problem. All she did was piss me off, because I know she's going to act like she beat my ass and made it look easy. Nina, I kicked your sorry ass from post to post tonight and you know it. Hell, the world knows it. They got to watch their esteemed champion get stomped by somebody that many feel shouldn't even be in the company. They got to watch their champion barely manage to ESCAPE with that title and you didn't even try to eliminate the possibility of me coming back after you which was a mistake on your part, believe me. You should have kept on, Nina. You should have tried to make it to where I was no longer a worry in the back of your mind for awhile...but you didn't. You failed to take out your competition, all you managed to do was, again, piss me off. You think Elijah Black and that douchebag XPJ are the frontrunners for those you need to worry about? Michael chuckled before pointing out towards the ring. MICHAEL ALEXANDER: Tonight proved otherwise. As far as I'm concerned, they aren't even worth thinking about. This Lionheart division is a fucking joke anymore, supposed to be all about the fighting and the diversity of those in the division. I was going to take over awhile ago but this company decided to take that chance away from me before I could do it. They took my shot away, all because they knew that as soon as I decided to come after that belt you have, that it would be mine sooner rather than later. It's the same case now, except this time? They're encouraging me to take it because they know this division is a mockery of what it once was, in every way. Lionheart was meant to showcase the other side of combat sports. The careful, calculated onslaught of a trained fighter and somewhere down the line, it changed. We have twats like XPJ tryna come here and take this title because he failed every other time he tried to get a championship. This division, that belt? It's mine! I proved tonight that the current champion isn't worth a damn and sure, you managed to prolong the inevitable...but that's it. All you did is give me time to think about how I'm going to take that title right from you. I could go out and put an end to it fast, don't even give you the chance to defend yourself....or I could drag it out. I could punish you for even thinking you're worth a damn. I could punish you for taking that Lionheart title and devaluing the damn thing. Nina Stokes as the Lionheart champion? Michael chuckle mockingly. MICHAEL ALEXANDER: Why don't we just give Prince MacRear the HKW World championship? It's pretty much the equivalent to what you're doing to that title, Nina. That belt needs a real champion, a fighting champion that makes a mockery out of every person that dare step up to challenge him. A champion that puts a stop to title hopes and does it with authority, not escaping by the hair on her twat. Believe me Nina, you need to enjoy that hunk of gold while you have it because soon, it'll be a thing of the past. Truthfully? I hope you do beat XPJ at Divine Supremacy, just like I'm going to be taking that Interbrand Battle royal. Make sure you don't get hurt too bad because the next chance I get? I'm going to be right up in your face and I don't want you having any excuses when I beat your ass in the center of that ring and take that belt. A sneer formed on his face. MICHAEL ALEXANDER: Come to think of it, I have a better idea. I'm going to leave you unconscious on your face at the end of the night. Nothing says "statement" more than leaving the champion laying in a pool of her own saliva. You'll have to let me know how it feels to wake up and realize that little bit of fame you had left is gone, taken from you by somebody that is truly better than you. You and the rest of these assclowns that think they're real fighters. Come one, come all. Backing away from the camera with his arms out wide. MICHAEL ALEXANDER: Borrowed time, Nina! Tick tock! He smirked before disappearing around the corner, into the locker rooms. Edited by Michael Alexander, Jul 27 2016, 10:25 AM.
