Divine Supremacy: Aftermath returns from a commercial break to see a familiar face, currently searching for her wife after all the excitement of the pay-per-view died down. Of course, the brunette-haired Canadian wasn’t in the best of spirits; after missing out on the Gold Ring that Jackie fowler possessed. What a hellicious few weeks it had been leading up to the pay-per-view event and it showed. She seemed to be enjoying listening to her headphones, but not for much longer—she spotted the cameras, knowing they were looking for her opinion. RYAN LECAVALIER: Some people could let minor incidents roll of their back and not give them another thought. They could pick up their pride and go else here, and not lose a wink of sleep over whatever had happened. Those people are to be admired for their patience and kindness; I’m not one of them. There’s so many things wrong with what happened tonight, and Jackie Fowler winning is the least of them. I should’ve seen the writing on the wall when were three days away from Divine Supremacy. There were so many instances—first of all the match happened on the pre-show versus the main show. Secondly most of the participants weren’t really marketed on the posters put out by HKW’s graphics department. Can’t forget the fact that AG3 and her goons attack us back on Defiance 50 – there’s a lot that’s happening, so sorry if I appear little testy right now. Many fans expected the brunette-haired diva to be on the warpath after her losing to Jackie Fowler; indeed, she planned on doing something about it. Having just missed out on a golden opportunity, but Ryan was never one to follow the motto “live and let live.” No, she was going to get back onto the win column. RYAN LECAVALIER: Obviously a lot can go wrong when you’re focused on winning. I think I said it best on the pre-show when Tiffany Jay asked me for a comment. The Gold Ring is one of the most underrated opportunities In Hard Knox Wrestling, I meant that. Now, Jackie Fowler is one step closer to becoming HKW’s inaugural InterBrand Television Champion – I take issue with that – mostly because there’s a stigma with the ring, a stench you can’t just wash off over night. He’s got a lot to prove, but I think tonight we found out exactly what he’s made of. He’s got a date with destiny to prove himself worthy. I’m not one to make excuse for anything. I was so close to winning that ring, that I could taste it. That’s the most frustrating part about the whole night; it could’ve gone any one way out there. I haven’t made too many immediate plans. Right now I’m looking to move past some of the more uninspiring members of the Subversion Roster. There are members of the roster who don’t want to be here, that’s why I’m going to take their spot by force. There here because they think that HKW is going to make them famous, newsflash, you actually have to provide substance and talent to get the rewards… A sly smile quickly developed on Lecavalier’s face, eyes twinkling mischievously behind her aviators that she wore. There was most definitely something up and it appeared as if she was determined to take the loss on the chin—unlike anybody else who found themselves on the losing end. RYAN LECAVALIER: And for those of you who were fixated on the match, AG3’s kick was nothing. I’ve been kicked multiple times by a championship caliber Kickboxer in an MMA Cage – yeah, I’ll admit she caught me off guard, I’ll give her that much. Normally it wouldn’t have fazed me like it did. I made some key mistakes tonight. I won’t sulk and I won’t envy anyone – I’ll leave that to the AG3’s and Sofia King’s of the world. I plan on picking up the scraps and keep on moving. If you thought you were just getting use to me voicing my opinion, don’t get too comfortable because from here on out it’s going to get lot better. Coming into tonight I had expectations, I didn’t meant them so I expect to set the bar higher. Would I have liked to become the ring holder? Yeah – who wouldn’t? An immediate chuckle broke the former gold ring challenger. She couldn’t help it. The irony of losing was somewhat humorous, as she seemed to be of a certain opinion. Running her fingers through her hair she seemed of sound mind, feeling like she owed nothing to anyone. RYAN LECAVALIER: I won’t even start goin’ through the details about what I’ve endured leading up to tonight. For fifteen minutes when it mattered most you got some of my best, that’s crazy when you truly think about it – in a single match I’ve shown more talent than RISE’s call-ups have had matches. I think I’ve done enough to prove to you people that I’m worthy and I haven’t even reached the pinnacle yet. The Gold Ring would’ve been a nice start, but mark my worse that Championship is going to be mine before too long. What I’ve done tonight isn’t worthless, it’s progress. I won’t let this loss define me, I know what you guys want—it’s what I want. I’m the wrestler that will give you want you want to see. For you haters out there here’s some advice: continue doing what you do best. It’ll make it easier to continually prove you wrong. If the rumors that were circulating at the end of Divine Supremacy were true Hard Knox Wrestling is on its way to getting far more interesting…that’s for sure… With that, the cameras pulled back as Ryan pulled her headphone back on, looking down the corridor, Ryan made a face moving past the shot, as she continued on her way the camera faded to black. |

MO SHOTS: LISTEN, SON. I’M PRETTY DANG SURE MY CLIENT JUST TURNED INTO A BIRD ON NATIONAL TELEVISION. I’M GONNA HAVE TO CALL YA BACK. AND BRUSH YOUR TEETH! The camera arrived on the scene where Mo Shots was seen carrying the HKW Global championship in his hand. The champion herself was nowhere in sight, Mo walking throughout Sam Boyd Stadium with a purpose. MO SHOTS: ALEXA! I’M GONNA CALL YOU LEXIBAE IF YOU DON’T POP OUT! YOU HAVE TEN SECONDS! ONE! Yes, Mo shots was indeed calling his own client out. MO SHOTS: TWO! He felt a slight chill hit his neck, getting him to shake all the way down to his ankles. MO SHOTS: Ooooooh! Tickles! ALEXA, STOP PLAYING GAMES! THREE! As Mr. Mo Shots turned a corner - still in search of the HKW Global Champion Alexa Corra - he’s suddenly snatched up! MO SHOTS: OOOOH MY GAH! ALEXA! Mo yelled. Figuring the harsh approach had to mean his Lexibae (also known as the most dangerous woman in HKW) had decided to show herself. SOFIA KING: ERRNT, you freaking idiota CEIGO! Sofia yelled as she tossed Mo Shots up against the wall of a dark corner. It was obvious that Sofia was NOT happy. SOFIA KING: Escuchame, cabron. No me gustan estos STUPID freaking members of the HKW Board disrespecting me each and every week. I don't haaaaaaaave to be here. Sofia stressed. SOFIA KING: First they put me on a pre-show. I’ve never be in PRE-anything in my LIFE tee-bee-hache. But since I don't have to worry about that damn ring. That excuse to mistreat me. Ese pinche anillo. I can turn my attention to what I REALLY came to Har-Knox to do, putita! Tapping the Global Championship belt Mo still held Sofia looked him in the eye again SOFIA KING: If I don't get my title match ahorita I'm going to drop someone, Mo. I'm going to drop every freaking Board Member on my way out of this dump. I'm going to drop everybody on the roster. I'm going to FREAKING drop you, Mo. Sofia started to pull at the Championship belt. SOFIA KING: Give me my Global Title match... Before Sofia could do anything else, Mo’s eyes went wide as he stared at something or someone standing behind Sofia King. ALEXA CORRA: I believe we’ve went over this on Subversion already, Ms. King. Alexa Corra stepped into the picture and got right in front of Sofia. She reached her hand back, grabbed her championship away from Mo, and stared Sofia right in the eyes. Alexa still had particles from the fire extinguisher in hair, her expression blank as per usual. ALEXA CORRA: If you wanted a title match, all you had to do was ask… The Global champion threw the Global championship around her shoulder and studied Sofia’s face and body language. ALEXA CORRA: However, if you have not yet noticed… I’ve been annihilating your former Rebellion friends left and right. Felicity was defeated, Levi was burned, and you… A faint smirk appeared on Corra’s face. ALEXA CORRA: Maybe karma has something more… deleterious planned for you. Unlike with those two, I have no bond with you, Sofia. We are not friends. We have not worked together prior to this. You mean nothing to me, and right now you are walking right into a spot that you do not want to be in. Alexa took a step backwards, Mo pulling down his sunglasses to cover his eyes. ALEXA CORRA: I will hurt you, Sofia… because the only way to defeat a sinner… is with sin. Shaking her head Sofia scoffed. SOFIA KING: Sabes que...I'm not the type to do this freaking sport for relationships, sino the way you mock the Rebellion? The few guys in this business that I really care about? It's just adding on to the disrespect that YOU people in this trash can have for me. The New York Doll stated. SOFIA KING: Pero bueno. I'm glad we can agree on one thing, Corrita. You don't need to care about me, honestly. I don't have a grudge against you. What you DO need to freaking think about is me getting my due. You have something I want. It's a simple as that, muchachita. Sofia paused. SOFIA KING: Esperame…No…. She shot a glance back towards the silver belt. SOFIA KING: Me snatching my due in Hache-KW. Corrita, mi prima, of all the times I've been a challenger to a championship in this business do you know how many times the champion retained against me? It was a valid question. Because it hadn't happened. Each time Sofia chased after gold whether it be the top title in AIR, the Gold Ring, or gold in GFP she managed to lay claim to it. SOFIA KING: The facts are the madrefreaking facts. What makes you think I won't make you regret accepting this challenge, nena? Corra doesn’t say a word. She looked in Mo’s direction and gestured for him to walk away before the Global champion turned her attention back to her next potential challenger. ALEXA CORRA: Because I don’t know what regret feels like. See you soon… Corra brushed past Sofia and vanished from the camera view, leaving the former AIR Champion of Champions behind. The camera faded on Sofia’s eyes locked in the direction Mo and the HKW Champion walked in. An intense clash between these two highly competitive women was imminent. One couldn't even dream of the carnage that’s sure to be left behind….. |

| Brian Stryker | Aug 29 2016, 12:00 AM Post #4 |

Brian Stryker is staring at his reflection. His body is battered and bruised. His ego hurt worst than his body. That weasel Nicole stole his title. She couldn't beat him in the chamber so she decided to purge. She took the one thing he had in this company. She took it from him. He didn't care bout the chamber. He gave it his all. Salem pinned him clean. He had no ill wills towards. That it as the fucking weasel Hamilton that angered him more. Brian Stryker: FUCK! He lets out a primal yell as he bashed his skull into the mirror several times as it shatters into pieces. Blood starts oozing out of the cut on his forehead as shards of glass cover the floor. A stage hand rushes in to see what cause the sudden outburst and sees a seething, self bloodied, Stryker yelling now at a brick wall. The stage hand slowly backs out of the room, not wanting to draw the anger of Stryker as he shuts the door, leaving Stryker alone again, bleeding around the shattered remains. |

![]() The camera cuts backstage, showing a beaming Tiffany Jay standing underneath a Divine Supremacy poster while the roar of the raucous Nevada crowd is heard in the background. TIFFANY JAY: Heyyy, everyone! It’s Tiffany Jay and we're coming off the heels of a monumental Divine Supremacy! Both brands came out and put on what's gotta be the show of the year right now! You can still feel the electricity in the air right now as the show goes on! I'm gonna try and get word from several Subversion talents on everything that's happened throughout the night. Walking down the hall, Tiffany came across one of the locker room sections and quickly wanders down. Just as Tiffany was about to knock on the door nearest to her, she heard something coming from inside that caused her to step back. It's a yell... A primal, inhuman yell of rage coming from inside. KAI: GOD-DAMMIT!!!! This is all of the warning that she gets before the door flies open with a loud bang! The top hinge flies off as the door smacks off the wall behind it and something large crashes into the wall right where she was standing just a few moments ago, shattering beyond repair. Tiffany looks down at the wreckage of what was a large black reclining chair that's almost as big as her, wide eyed and clutching her heart in fear. She realizes that easily could have been crushed if she was a second slower. Shaking from the realization, Tiffany cautiously looks inside and sees Kai standing in the middle of the now destroyed locker room, breathing heavily with his back towards her. Looking around the room, she can see an indention in the wall from where Kai slammed his fist into it. Everything else inside looks either destroyed beyond repair or damn near close to it, all victims of Kai's wrath. Hesitantly stepping inside, Tiffany walks up to Kai weighs her options, before tapping him on the shoulder. TIFFANY JAY: U-um, Kai... tonight you wrestled against Zero McHannon and near the end of the match, confusion occurred as he gained the pin fall victory after having his leg pin you following what looked like a Kai Bomb reversal into Zero Tolerance on his part. What's going through... your... Tiffany slowly trails off and falls into a fearful silence as Kai turned his head ever so slowly, bright emerald green eyes burning with an intense anger and hatred. KAI: ...Get out. The words are said as calmly as Kai can muster at the moment, and Tiffany quickly gets the message as she backs out of the room, likely going to find someone a little less volatile at the moment to get a word from. Kai stares at the moment, then looks right at the camera man who wisely follows in suit before Kai physically removes him from there. The parting shot as the camera man leaves is one of Kai placing his hand against the near destroyed wall, a tinge of desperation and frustration seeping in through the anger, showing just how much the loss to Zero McHannon is weighing on him mentally as the camera turns the corner and he disappears from view. | Zero McHannon | Aug 29 2016, 02:35 AM Post #6 |
|
Zero Mchannon is seen walking through the hallways of Boyd Stadium with a towel laying over his head and a shirt thrown across his shoulder. Every other step he has a slight limp, but he’s doing his best to fight through it as he’s passing some of the many workers that make Divine Supremacy possible. Tiffany Jay was standing there at the end of the hallway as she approaches him with the camera crew and has to raise her voice some to be heard over the rowdy backstage action. TIFFANY JAY: Zero McHannon! First of all, I want to congrat you on your win tonight. First time being in the ring as contracted wrestler and not a board member. You versus Kai was a hell of a match and I’m wanting some of your thoughts on the matter. Zero pulls the towel from his head and throws it across his other shoulder. You can see the tiredness in his eyes he tries to rub them out. ZERO MCHANNON: As if there was going to be any other conclusion. Kai and I told a story. A story of DIVINE SUPREMACY! Two guys who have focused our entire lives around wrestling so we stepped into the ring to see who was the best between us. It’s none other than your four time world champion, as if anyone should’ve doubted me to begin with. He has a small pause as he’s still trying to catch his breath. ZERO MCHANNON: Tonight was special. It’s weird to see it from inside the ring, rather than from behind a desk. I already knew going into this match that Kai was a technically sound wrestler and my stubbornness wouldn’t allow me to switch up my tactics against him so we went full force in some smash mouth wrestling. Kai showed me what he was made of tonight, but I respect him now? McHannon smirks and throws his head back with a laugh. ZERO MCHANNON: Fuck no I don’t. He had everything coming to him the moment he walked out of me in our tag team match. He wanted to put on his big boy shoes and try to act all tough whenever I put my foot down to that bullshit? Everything thought I might’ve been eating my words tonight, but I made Kai eat his instead. He will always be known as the man who has a lot in the tank, but when push comes to shove, he’ll be running on fumes. He had the honor to step in the ring with me on a card that had big matches like Hybrid Hell, Career versus Contract, the chamber, the inferno match, brand versus brand, and some outside guests fighting for the right as number one contender. Another pause as Tiffany slides the microphone to her end, but Zero pulls it back. ZERO MCHANNON: I’m not finished talking. Someone go tell Kai that I’m glad he didn’t put his money where his mouth is. I brought out a different side in that man that many people haven’t seen before, or in a long time… A match against me will elevate him to a different level because I MAKE STARS OUT OF PEOPLE! Zero laughs to himself as Tiffany proceeds with the next question. TIFFANY JAY: Well, it was certainly a good match with a confusing ending…--- ZERO MCHANNON: Confusing ending my ass. Who was announced as the winner? Tiffany chews on the inside of her jaw as she answers. TIFFANY JAY: You. ZERO MCHANNON: Exactly. Some of the works pass by McHannon and pat him on the back, saying things like “great job out there tonight, champ” and “hell of a show”, but Zero ignores them and stays focused on the camera. TIFFANY JAY: Alexa Corra. She defended her title and you tried to burn her face on the flames after the match… What in anyone’s right mind would make them do that? Alexa isn’t someone to be messed with. Zero pulls the towel from his shoulder and wraps it around the back of his neck. ZERO MCHANNON: Payback. Do you realize how long I’ve been waiting to give Alexa Corra a little taste of her own medicine? I’ve been waiting to choose my right spot ever since she threw me off the cage at War Games and if you think months passing by is going to make me forget that, you’re fucking wrong. I just had to pick the right time instead of playing into her game, even though I did have my fun whenever she was in that match against Emilio Vialpando. She’s lucky I didn’t cost her the HKW Global Championship, because it did cross my mind when I was standing ringside, wearing that firefighter’s suit that was burning me the hell up. Tiffany cuts Zero off. TIFFANY JAY: But you didn’t succeed. ZERO MCHANNON: Shut up. That’s not the point. McHannon slowly shakes his head and continues. ZERO MCHANNON: I’m not done with Alexa. I don’t give a shit if she holds the championship or not, this is more personal between us than me trying to elbow my way into any sort of championship match. She fucked with my life and I returned the favor. This could’ve all been avoided if she just minded her own damn business, but alas, she didn’t. She thought I’d let that slip my mind, but she’s more delusional than I thought if that’s the case. Tiffany steps closer to Zero and hands him a piece of paper, but also so that she doesn’t have to reach that far to hold the microphone. ZERO MCHANNON: What’s this? TIFFANY JAY: Rumble to Destiny card. I thought it might interest you now that the night is over with and that card is finalized. Zero takes a moment to read through it before giving a light chuckle. ZERO MCHANNON: Alexa Corra versus Sofia King? Typical. Sofia thinks she’s worth more than she really is. She thinks just because she carries the last name “King” that her net worth shoots through the roof. She can barely hold her own in gold ring matches against the company’s newer talent, what makes you think she’s going to hold her own against the HKW Global Champion? TIFFANY JAY: Well, her and Lyza did beat you on the opening SubVersion leading to Divine Supremacy. ZERO MCHANNON: In a two on one, I hope they feel soooooo proud about that. That doesn’t prove anything besides that I have to be outnumbered for them to stand a chance. At Rumble to Destiny, she doesn’t either. Pathetic. I expected more from Alexa than to let some bipolar cunt talk her way into a championship match, but nothing surprises me much nowadays. McHannon shrugs his shoulders as he brushes past Tiffany. ZERO MCHANNON: Now if you’ll excuse me, I have Cindy Parker and the Rumble to look forward to. You know, an event where you actually earn a shot at the HKW Global Championship instead of bug the hell out of someone until it’s handed to you. Yeahhh, you know the one. Whenever I win the rumble, there’s a real reason to have a championship shot. Tell Sofia King she’ll be in the back of the line whenever she botches her “chance”, and this time try not to cut back in until she starts beating the people who are waiting to have their contracts signed in fresh ink. Gold Ring to Global Champion. Hahahaha, that’s a fucking good laugh. Yes, it is. He walks away as Tiffany raises her eyebrows and looks back towards the camera. TIFFANY JAY: Zero McHannon, everyone. Edited by Zero McHannon, Aug 29 2016, 02:46 AM.

| Ashley Sullivan | Aug 29 2016, 09:47 AM Post #7 |

Now what? That was the question at Ashley's brain as she sat hiding away in a corner of the arena. She did not head immediately back to her locker room after her loss to Elijah Black in the finals of the All or Nothing Series. She could not. She knew she would end up running into someone that wanted to talk or offer some kind of feigned comfort. Angelo would give her a shoulder to cry on. She did not want any of that right then. None of it would have done a thing to change a thing about the cause of her pain. My start on Subversion wasn't supposed to be like this. Or was it the end of my time on Defiance? Doesn't matter now. Holding her midsection, she bite down on her lip, trying to distract her brain from one pain with another. She took everything Black could throw at her and yet she still refused to stay down. In the end, her body failed the rest of her. It reached the point when it just could not go on no matter how much fight her spirit still had in it. It took him knocking her to hell before her body finally relented enough to stay down for a three count. Nothing could change that fact. The only question was what she could do now. She wanted so much, had aspirations so high, she could not fall short now. I'm not like her. I'm not Erin. She finally began to move from her hiding spot out into the open. Holding onto a door frame, her fingers dug into the cheap wood as a thought occurred to her. ASHLEY SULLIVAN: This isn't over. There is always a plan b. Rumble 2 Destiny, that was going to be it. It had to be. It was do-or-die time and could ill afford anyone or anything to cost her that opportunity. |

| Raven Apollyon | Aug 29 2016, 10:14 AM Post #8 |
|
Raven Apollyon and the masked Big Brother are spotted backstage, as Raven is celebrating her pre-show victory over Ashley Chase with a bottle of tequila. The HKW rookie takes a big swig of alcohol. RAVEN APOLLYON: I told EVERYONE I was gonna beat that little bitch and no one believed me! NO ONE! We knew it, though. We knew she wasn't gonna stand a chance against me. Raven, out of the corner of her eye, spots the HKW cameraman filming the two of them. RAVEN APOLLYON: Oh, you! You! Apollyon makes her way over to the cameraman as Big Brother continues to stand silently in the background. Raven takes another big sip of her tequila. RAVEN APOLLYON: DIVINE SUPREMACY! What a night! So much has happened! We got a new World Champion, TWICE! Brandon Banks' ten year career is over at the hands of his own sister! Team Defiance, not that I give any fuck about what brand I'm on, was victorious thanks to a dastardly turn of events caused by Kol! It was a HUGE night! And this huge night started with a pre-show where I faced Ashley Chase, in a Street Fight, and did what I said I would do since I accepted her challenge - I kicked her ass! Raven lets out a loud laugh, mixing a demented vibe with genuine joy. RAVEN APOLLYON: I came into this company with an immediate target set on Ashley, simply because I don't like her and I don't like her kind. Ass kissing little shits like her don't deserve the spotlight. You know what they do deserve? A Raven's Claw right onto a trash can! I could feel her cranium driving in on itself as I drove her down head-first onto that trash can. It was actually hard for me to pin her after that. Not because I felt remorse of any sort, I just simply wanted to kick her ass some more! Raven giddily chuckles again before taking another sip of alcohol. RAVEN APOLLYON: Ashley surprised me. Honestly, she did. She put up more of a fight than I expected, so kudos for that, I guess. It still wasn't enough to beat me, though. She spent all that time talking about how she was going to beat the shit out of me and hurt me and make me pay for costing her a spot in the Chamber which, by the way, she would've been eliminated from first if she managed to win her qualifier. Kudos to Nicole on starting off Purge Season the right way, by the way. But! Back on track, I did what I said I would do and Ashley didn't. That's the problem with little Ms. Chase. She can talk a big game when she's not tongue-fucking the assholes of her superiors, but every little thing she says are broken promises. But, of course, most people know that by now. I put the definitive exclamation mark on that. I mean, it's not like Ashley is praised ten fold by idiots as being some sort of Goddess. No, she's one of the idiots that'd be praising an overrated fuck like that. "The Satanic Angel's" demeanor begins to sour as the hype she's felt from her victory fades and her mind starts to cross into another thought. Something happened recently that Raven didn't like and, as happy as she is that she got to take out Ashley, she's immediately thinking about who her next target will be. She puts her half-filled tequila bottle to her lips and chugs down almost all that remained before looking back at the camera with a scowl. RAVEN APOLLYON: I'm not scheduled to compete at Rumble To Destiny, but there's someone I want to meet there. Let's hope she's "no supershow tapings off", either. Raven turns and walks off, as Big Brother follows. |

![]() The camera cuts on in one of the long passages leading from the open air of Sam Boyd Stadium back into the bowels of the arena where the locker rooms are situated. The cacophony of the sold-out crowd dissipating after a massive night at Divine Supremacy still rumbles outside, and overhead. Crew are outside, dismantling the savage Chamber that enclosed the night’s main event. And quietly, up against the wall of the passage, sits Shane Atwater. Arms across his knees, still drenched in blood and sweat. He hasn’t yet been attended by the trainers, they’ve had more pressing concerns with some of the carnage of the evening...and even if they hadn’t, he hasn’t made it that far to begin with. He should have still been out there. In the ring, the first and only two-time HKW World Champion...soaking in the moment. Making it last. He’d done it. He’d survived the chamber, he’d followed the Red Wolf to his lair and exacted revenge for what had happened at Illusions...He’d done everything he’d said he was going to do, and then some. As they’d said on the Almost Honest pre-show...His career had finally, finally come full circle. Instead, he was sitting in the hallway with nothing. The championship was gone. The moment, snatched out from under him. Everything he’d worked so hard for, that he’d spent an entire career and half an hour inside of one of the most violent environments in professional wrestling to claim...was pulled out from under him. He’d worked his entire life for a moment like this one...And...somehow, he didn’t even understand how, none of it made any sense, and it didn’t matter anyway...he’d been left with nothing. Absolutely nothing. The tension in his muscles was visible, but he just stared straight ahead, eyes boring a hole through the wall in front of him, as he quietly uttered in a voice barely loud enough to be audible. SHANE ATWATER: I’m going to kill Lance Winters. The words hang in the air for a moment, the noise from outside the stadium more than obscuring them...as the camera cuts to dark. |

Womp, womp.
|
Blood drained from her face as she entered the ring. The canvas was almost completely died blood red by the amount of it all. The war inside Hybrid Hell had taken its toll on everyone, but none more than Jackson Magnum. From the beginning of the match, he has suffered. The wounds that he earned had finally taken hold as he tried his damnedest to stand up straight. Yet as he stood up, he felt the essence, the presence of Sophie El. As he leaned over the ropes, blood dropped onto the unforgiving steel of the cage. As he turned his head, he looked into Sophie’s sharp, cold, jade eyes. The raging crowd noise dissipated as if time stood still. It was like they both went through all the memories of their hatred and friendship. Sophie closed her eyes for a moment, remembering each and every word that Magnum said to her. All of his actions that made her, Anastasia, and Magdalena hurt. With a release, Sophie felt tears roll down her face. Magnum, despite all the pain that coursed through his body, ran forward. Everything that he has fought for and everything he stood for came through in a roar. Yet, when he came to strike Sophie down, Sophie had already begun her spin and raised her leg up. All of the noise came back in a rush as Sophie put Magnum down with the hardest Split the Sky she has ever delivered. When Magnum fell, it was as if he was the only thing there. Sophie looked among the world, hearing the diluted crowd cheering. Sophie turned her attention to Magnum and went for the cover. The hand went up once, twice, and then a final time. With that last smack to the mat, the war with Jackson Magnum had come to a resounding end. ... Nothing else mattered at this point, except for Anastasia and Magdalena. Sophie held her new championship for only a while until she saw Anastasia laying in a heap of anguish. She went to her and began to tend to her, before the EMTs came through and took all the participants there. Sophie held Anastasia in her arms, embracing her hurt lover one last time before they’re all helped to the back. The normal proceedings went through. Sophie demanded that she was tended to last. She didn’t want to be a burden when everyone else was maimed beyond belief. Hours upon hours went by. Sophie didn’t remember all of them, mainly because everything was moving so slow in her vision. The delirium from both the blood loss and the victory had taken that perception away. She saw Anastasia, but she didn’t see her mentor, her mother, Magdalena. Sophie scoured through the infirmary until she found Magdalena, laying there. She was unconscious, the glass table superplex had rendered her near-comatose. Sophie gazed down at her new Hybrid Championship. She then laid on top of Magdalena’s lap, before pulling up a seat next to her beloved mentor. She took her hand in hers and laid her head down on top of her arm. Doctors came in for the remainder of the night, but none of them could remove Sophie from the area. Sophie kept Magdalena’s hand in hers the whole time. She even slept there, not moving an inch from her injured mentor. She wouldn’t abandon her. Not now. Not ever.
