“WHAT DID YOU SAY?!”

The shrill voice of an angered woman echoed through the dimly lit shady hospital room. She was hovered over the patient like a vulture.

“R...Riley..”

The patient answered weakly.

“Hit the switch!”

Suddenly the high frequency of an electric shock hit and screams of agony followed. The patient took every energy bolt through her body.

“What did I tell you about saying that name...that's NOT your name!”

The woman shouted as the electric voltage stopped. The patient caught her breath and cried. The woman just glared at her uncaring about the patient's discomfort and pain.

“I'm...I'm sorry.”

The patient responded in her shaky voice clearly emotionally exhausted from the torture. This was the learning process. She had to be retaught everything she thought she knew. She had to be reprogrammed and recreated.

“Don't apologize..you need to forget and let go! Let go of who you used to be she died that night you fell off the ladder. You're born again...you're stronger and better than ever but only if you allow yourself to be!”

The voice of the lady grew more frustrated it seems this process had been going on for quite sometime. Before the patient had time to respond there was another electric shock running through her body!

“AHH! Okay I'll let go I'll forget!”

The shocking stopped and suddenly she felt a needle sticking her. A moment later she was drifting off gone again from reality.

“Mason! We have to keep training her. She has to be perfect. The transformation is almost complete...”

The angry woman insisted as she looked at the now unconscious patient.

“Prepare her for surgery….”

She said in a commanding tone before walking out of the hospital room. Mason looked down at the patient as he shook his head before doing as he was told preparing her for her next step in her transformation.
