Weeks went by, but things were finally perfect. She was finally perfect. Sculpted in her mother’s image she rose from what seemed like an eternity of slumber. Her mother smiled as she watched her daughter’s remodel her rebirth it's as if she was meeting her for the first time, but all the surgeries, the reconstruction, and treatments were worth it; she was no longer a patient but now a prototype for something greater. She looked over to Mason and smiled at the new person they had brought to life. “She's ready…wake her..bring her to life.” The woman said after much thought. The long process had been over, but it was all worth it for their new creation. Mason sent a shock through the sleeping beauty and she was alive gasping for air. Her eyes opened as she panicked and looked around only to realize that she was here. She looked into the eyes of the woman who remade her as she addressed the newly reformed being. “How are you feeling?” Mrs. Astor asked and the girl looked confused before gaining awareness. A calm went over her body and she was able to stand up from the operating table. She smiled as she looked in the older woman’s eyes. “I feel oh so good, mother.” The girl said before walking over to a mirror. Mrs. Astor admired her bride of Frankenstein as she examined her new features. She was new. Mrs. Astor stood behind her daughter and smiled resting her hands on her shoulders. “We've been waiting for you daughter…” She said looking down in the young girl's eyes. “Well, I'm here now mother there's no need to worry anymore.” She said reassuring her mother. “I'm glad…” Mrs. Astor said responding to her daughter. She took another glimpse in the mirror at the two of them. She had the daughter she lost before. “You're so beautiful just like me in my youth. They aren't ready for you. No one is.” She said smiling at her new daughter before running a hand through her hair. “You're right they won't know what's hit them!” She responded smiling at her mom. “When do I get to take over?” She asked curious raising an eyebrow. Her mother laughed at her ambition. “In due time my dear, you have to build your empire. You have to let them see what you're capable of...who you really are. They'll bow at your feet and worship you.” She said in a soothing tone speaking existence into her creation. “Everyone will know your name Asha….” She said before grabbing her daughter's’ wrist. “Let's go home…” Edited by Asha Astor, May 12 2017, 02:02 AM.
