![]() VENUE: Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. DATE: February 16th, 2018 The cameras cut backstage yet again, This time Following Cold Crowns as he seems to be searching for something. The Former Hero shoves some people out og the way before spotting his target. With a sinister smile forming on his face, Crowns approaches none other than his Fellow Rise Graduate, Chanson Webster, whom he grabs by the shoulders. He slides in front of Webster with the same smile on his face as he tells the Trend God hes exactly who he was looking for. He asks Wally about his personal life outside of the putrid walls that is the Capital One Arena. Without waiting for an answer The Villain puts a finger up and places it On Websters lips telling him that the time for pleasantries is long gone. He looks around for a moment before looking back at Chanson, telling him that he is here to recruit him. They have always gelled together well in the past and the bond over Lust cosmetics has helped Crowns see potential in Wally that he had never seen before. Cold Crowns asks Webster to come down and stay ringside during his match and afterwards or if things get out of hand to help him take care of Celeste. The Skateboard Thrilla is taken aback not knowing what to think as he licked on his lollipop, twirling it as he does so. Telling JZ that he needs a few more seconds to think about it he steps away into a corner and huddles up with himself. Going back in forth in his mind while JZ waits Wally finally comes to a conclusion. The answer was no because he doesn't wanna help any low life who’s ever said one lick of a bad thing about him, and that he’s not even that cool with JZ anyway. Besides, he’s got other things going on with the heart of a lion tournament and that's all he’s focusing on. Crowns blinks then stares blankly at his fellow roster member. As the realization of being denied yet again seeps in, Crowns shoves wally back slightly by the shoulders and reaches in his jacket pocket pulling out a set of Brass Knuckles. He licks them and then waves the weapon in webster’s face saying that He didn't really need his help. He has a backup plan. He then tells Wally that if he's not with him then he's against him before running off towards a dark hallway in the arena leaving Chanson there. BRI DAVENPORT DEFEATS JAMES MAGNUM JR. AND TOMMY EVANS VIA PINFALL (7:16) This was described as a fun match by the majority of the audience where each superstar had their time to show off. The finish saw Magnum Jr. wave a second referee down to the ring so he could Purge Evans, but Bri Davenport took advantage of this and finished the match off with a leaning complete shot on JMJr. for the one, two, three. After the match, Evans grabbed the Bloodlust title and bolted through the crowd to make his escape. Magnum Jr. grabbed the referee he waved down and chased after Evans before cameras cut to an advertisement. Edited by Hard Knox Wrestling, Feb 16 2018, 09:26 PM.

The show cuts backstage and the crowd cheers at the sight of Celeste. She is doing some push ups off the concrete floor. Dressed in her ring gear, she is ready for her match coming up. She finishes a couple more before pushing up to her feet. Dusting off her hands she speaks quietly to herself though the camera can hear. “Gotta win this tonight…” As the Fan Favorite psychs herself up for the match, boos can be heard as someone approaches behind her. She turns around and finds herself face to face with the dastardly new persona of JZ, Cold Crowns. He leans in close to her stating that he remembers having that look in his eye. The look of happiness. The Self Proclaimed Villain of HKW reaches out for a strand of her hair and begins to stroke it gently in his hand. He tells Celeste that she’s lying to herself though. That happiness is not achievable. At least not through the fans here in the building tonight or at any other HKW Event. He says that If she accepts his help He can show her the true joy of feeling accomplished by seizing the day and pleasing herself. Not the Fans. Crowns says that the fans are no stranger to turning their back on beloved wrestlers. And Celeste is sure to face that same fate. Unless she joins him in his mission to bring suffering to the roster but most importantly the fans. Celeste takes a step back from him and shakes her head. She says that while she wouldn't mind making a few on the roster suffer for what they've done to her, she doesn't ever want to turn her back on the fans. This statement about them gets the fans to cheer loudly. Cold Crowns cocks his head to the side as the fans cheer on celeste in the distance. He then tells Celeste that this was her chance not to get destroyed tonight. This was him offering her a chance at change. But if she was going to turn his offer down she would become part of that change. And it will be the most beautiful of pleasantries. He then smells the hand that previously held Celeste’s hair telling her he smells the faintest bit of evil on her before cackling evilly and walking down the hall. CELESTE DEFEATS JZ CROWNS VIA DISQUALIFICATION (3:13) A motivated Celeste took JZ by surprise here early after catching with a running dropsault. Celeste used a lot of her high flying attacks on JZ and eventually knocked him out of the ring where JZ grabbed the ring bell and bashed Celeste in the face to cause a disqualification. After the match, JZ grabbed the microphone and began lecturing the audience but Celeste got up and tackled JZ down to the ground! She began punching away at his face until JZ pushed her away and saw Tommy Evans come from the back and dash down the ramp because he was still being chased by James Magnum Jr! JZ joined Magnum in the chase, and eventually, Celeste did as well. Tommy managed to get away, but now? He had THREE people chasing him. Edited by Riskodamous, Feb 17 2018, 12:31 AM.

ASHLEY CHASE DEFEATS KENSHIN TAKAMURA VIA PINFALL TO RETAIN THE HKW ITV CHAMPIONSHIP (23:20) Described as the match of the night, this one really seemed like it could go either way. Kenshin got the early advantage by kicking the flesh off of Ashley's body and tried to finish things early with a snap Tiger Suplex but Chase kicked out at two. Chase took over the advantage after Kenshin missed a missile dropkick and Chase immediately locked in a heel hook submission! It seemed like Kenshin was stuck in the submission for a long period of time, but he finally managed to get to the ropes and forced Chase to break it. Despite the release, Kenshin's heel and ankle were visibly weakened as he stood up to his feet and limped toward the nearest corner. Ashley made her way to the adjacent corner and charges forward for a corner forearm to the face, but Kenshin caught her on the leap and dropped her with an STO! He made the cover, but Chase kicked out at two! Despite the pain shooting through Kenshin's heel and ankle, the Japanese sensation managed to hold the advantage and used his striking ability to nearly knock Ashley's head off! He got a couple of nearfalls, but Ashley WAS NOT ready to lose her championship on this night. The finish of the match saw Kenshin attempt his Devil Lock DDT - only for Chase to spin her way out of it and roll Kenshin up a jackknife pin that got her the three count. XPJ AND THE BLACK DELEGATION DEFEAT THE REAPERS IN PRIDE (Winters, Volkov, Nowak) via pinfall. (13:11) This turned into another chaotic contest but at first....it seemed like the Reapers wanted nothing to do with the match. Both Volkov and Nowak shouted that they already defeated the Black Delegation while Lance brought up XPJ's past with former Subversion GM, Joey Perello. Lance said that he'd love to have some fun tonight, but beating the three guys in the ring wasn't the fun he had in mind. The Reapers turned around and looked ready to leave the ring, but XPJ, XAD, and Burrows pounced on the Reapers and began putting the boots to them! The Reapers would fight back, however, and managed to change the pace of the match to favor them. After taking down their three opponents, Lance went out of the ring and grabbed three tables from underneath the ring, setting one up for each of the Reapers opponents. XAD was the first to his feet and saw Lance decorating, but he vaulted over the top rope and took out Lance with a somersault plancha! Blood was shed, tables were broken and chairs were bent in half. Neither team looked like they would call themselves the winner after this, but XPJ managed to get his team the victory after reversing a Psycho Driver and put Nowak away with the "Nappa Bomb." After the match, XPJ and The Black Delegation celebrated their victory while the Reapers stayed inside the ring. Winters and Volkov helped Nowak to his feet, grabbed a couple of cold ones out from underneath the ring and proceeded to drink them down while letting XPJ and The Black Delegation know that they'd see them again. |

Tommy Evans thought he was safe by now. Thinking that he evaded the likes of Crowns, Celeste and Magnum Jr. But...Did he really? Feeling as if he got away and the coast was clear Tommy peaked out the door of a...Janitor's Closet? Nice hide place there Tommy. Not even Aurora Jansen could tease him from there. He acted as if he was wiping some sweat off of his brow and and stepped out into the hallway. Hell, he even patted himself on the damn back for a job well done. Feeling himself, Evans began to walk down the hallway until the lights went out! Okay. Whose playing with the lights now. I thought De Luca told you guys---Wait. What was that? The sounds of some scuffling echoes through the halls until...Silence. The lights comes back on and there stands JZ Crowns with a devilish grin on his face as he stands next to the light switch with Tommy Evans unconscious at his feet. He kicks Tommy over onto his stomach and waves a referee over. He pins the Bloodlust Champion and successfully purges for the title. SHANE ATWATER AND BRIAN STRYKER WENT TO A DOUBLE COUNTOUT DRAW! (10:11) Despite being teammates for Brand Wars, it was evident that these two didn't care much for one another from the opening bell. Both men - who were known for their wrestling ability - immediately turned this one into a fight where little actual wrestling moves were seen. They brawled all around the ring, up the entrance ramp and through the crowd; the referee very lenient with the two Subversion stars the first time the action spilled to the outside. Eventually, the action would return to the ring where both men started to show off what brought them to the game; Stryker using his speed while Atwater tried for some of his most notable submissions. The action would spill back to the outside, and this time? The referee was not as lenient. Atwater and Stryker continued to fight all the way up the entrance ramp until they were counted out! The bell ringing didn't seem to bother them as they continued brawl - only stopping once Tommy Evans appeared at the top of the stage while being chased by the majority of everyone who competed tonight! Stryker saw this, shrugged, and chased after Tommy along with the rest, Atwater not bothered... OR DID HE HAVE A PLAN?! Edited by Riskodamous, Feb 17 2018, 12:44 AM.

ASHLEY MALDANO DEFEATS BIANCA REED VIA PINFALL TO RETAIN THE HKW HYBRID CHAMPIONSHIP (13:45) In the battle of the two friends, the match began with a handshake... ...but Bianca pulled Ashley in and rolled her up with a small package! ONE! TWO!! THRE---NO!!! Ashley just managed to break out of the pin, an appalled look on her face as she stared at Bianca. Bianca gave Ashley a shrug and pushed forward to blast her with a big boot, but Maldano ducked out of the way and rolled Bianca up with a schoolboy! ONE! TWO!! THRE---NO!!! This time, it was Bianca who gave Ashley a dirty look until the stood up to their feet and began exchanging rights and lefts! Bianca got the better of the attack after a knee to the stomach and then a superkick that knocked Ashley to the mat and out of the ring! Bianca rolled after Maldano, but Ashley spotted her and ripped her down to the floor and catapulted her straight into the ring post! Ashley pulled Bianca up and brought her back inside the ring, delivering a release northern lights suplex straight into the corner! Ashley pulled Bianca away from the corner and made the cover, but Bianca kicked out at two! The reigning and defending Hybrid champion held the advantage for another two minutes, but Bianca came back when she slid herself away from a Bronco Buster and delivered a modified version of her rope hung knee drop while Ashley was perched on the bottom turnbuckle! Bianca got a couple of nearfalls on Ashley - one in particular where many believed the referee's hand touched the mat for the three - but it was Maldano who came away the victor after a "Bitch Kick" that came out of nowhere and nearly knocked Bianca's head off of her neck. After the match, the two embraced with a hug, Bianca leaving to let Maldano celebrate her first title defense. Edited by Hard Knox Wrestling, Feb 16 2018, 09:24 PM.
